It went well, they arrived on time and performed a great service

The work was excellent. Chris was our technician, and he communicated the project well before starting. Chris made our 18-year old carpets look new again and he spent a lot of time making sure he got out stains on our couch. Everyone we worked with at Downey was really nice too - from the owner to the woman answering the phones. Would definitely suggest them to friends.

Perfect as usual. I have used this company for many years. I have always been pleased with their punctuality, responsiveness and the good job they do every time.

They did an ok job and there was no furniture in the house. It was a little confusing. It was $99 deal and the lady wasn?t clear on that and said we gotta call so and so for that, we don?t do those, it was not what we expect. It wasn?t the steam clean like Stanley Steemer it was a big brush sort of a thing. The carpets are clean, don?t get me wrong, maybe it was a more hassle than we expected. They did a good job but it wasn't as smooth. I doubt we'd call them back. I think we had a problem to get them. We had a little bit a run around. We called the number on Angie's List and she goes weel we don't?do that you gotta call this number to get the discount. They were here when they were supposed to and did the job when they were suppose to.

Downey contacted me quickly and set up an appointment. The work was done on time and was excellent. I was very happy with the cleaning service provided.

Nice older guy came out and did a decent job cleaning the grout for what I thought was a good price. after he left, i noticed the cleaner he used damaged my stainless appliances (spray marks at bottom near floor that I cannot remove), caused old floor vent grates to rust and damaged the black marble accent tiles in the bathroom (dull finish and spots). I wish he would have taped off or covered the bottom of the appliances and mentioned if his cleaner was harsh or not approved for marble tile. It's those little things that matter and now I have unnecessary damage.

Great! On time, on price, gave us lots of good advice, good result. Would recommend then to anyone.

They were very professional and cleaned our carpets really well. The smell after they left was lovely! I would highly recommend them.

Due to a schedule conflict I missed the 1st appointment but they were quick to reschedule and came back 2 days later and did an excellent job of cleaning the floors.

Did an excellent job. Moved furniture and put back exactly where it was. Deodorized carpet and smells and looks new. Perfect. Very pleased.

They were here last year around November. It was a special they had on Angie's List. I thought the price was good. The carpets were wet for a couple of days. I would not use them again due to the fact that the carpets were too wet.

He broke something with the faucet in the bathroom. They had to come out and fix it. The price was fine. The quality and responsiveness were fine. Their professionalism was fine as well.

It went very good. I liked the way they cleaned but my dog urinated on my carpet downstairs and now it's still there. It's not his fault. I paid an extra $34 for something extra he asked me if I wanted. It looked clean when he was done. He did better than most folks who came here. The price was good. I would definitely recommend them for just the carpet cleaning.

I think he did the best he could. He stayed about 45-minutes and there were still stains on the rug. He said he could not get them all out. I believe if he took more time, he would have been able to get them out. I would suggest that he would take a little more time and do a better job. There was only one person. The price was excellent. His responsiveness was excellent.

The rug had not been cleaned before and it was due. They did a great job and will use again.

Upon arrival and being shown the master bath, was told that he could not seal the shower. This was the item contracted and the item clarified when service bought. Evidently, sealing grout and tile is only on the horizontal plane, no vertical spaces to be done and a shower is completely different. I was upset as this was exactly what I had described when buying service.The office of provider, upon discussion, refunded money and we left it at that. It is a little tough to understand that the bathroom of a home and its showers are not considered tile and grout areas, but a specialty area completely different. Make sure the office of the contracted provider understands the exact thing you want done before buying a deal. Tile and grout service is evidently different than bathroom tile and grout cleaning and sealing. I am not sure what provider that is, as we ended up doing ourselves rather than hassle again with someone else.

I will give Downey credit for squeezing me into their schedule for a same day carpet cleaning. To begin, the company's cleaning technician was rude. Without so much as a "may I go into your kitchen,? " the technician abruptly walked into our kitchen looking for a faucet to connect up his machine. My wife was very put off by this behavior. I must also note that of all the carpet cleaners I've used, this is the first time a carpet cleaner needed to connect their equipment to a water supply inside our home. Past services I've used have used outside water. The technician ended up by connecting the machine to our powder room faucet, but then poured dirty water down the toilet, leaving a dirty ring. To top it off, the quality of the carpet cleaning was poor. My usual carpet cleaner can always remove most any light stain in our carpet. This carpet cleaning did not remove any light stains. With this company, every carpet stain prior to the "cleaning" was still there after he finished, and my 3 steps although in a high traffic area, have never looked worse after being cleaned. Whatever equipment and cleaner this company used, it was no where near as effectiveness of the company I always use for carpet cleaning. This was dismal

double process, was just as quick, did a nicer job than steam clean only. A little longer drying time but worth it.

I wasn't impressed with this company. They have a piece of a equipment that they think they are better than other company, according them makes them number one. They did not move any furniture or offer any other kind of service.

The technician was prompt and professional. Our carpets look great - best cleaning company we have ever used.
