Went very well from start to finish

The estimate was written and thorough which I really appreciated. I was informed that they were booking 3 weeks out which I was willing to wait. To get on their schedule, you must pay a $100 non refundable deposit. They did not show up after 3 weeks. I had to contact the company several times to get an update after they missed multiple dates they had given me. The fact that they were not proactive about that contact made me unhappy. It seemed that I was working harder to get them to complete the work then they were. 4 months later, I sent yet another email. The company replied "Our goal is to have this completed at our earliest convenience." I had other contractors that I had to postpone due to this work being 4 months late. I was not notified prior to the crew showing up so I was unable to remove my furniture from the deck. It was ruined when the trees came down. Having said that, the service performed was quality. The trees and stumps were removed and grass was planted in their place. The work was good, the price was reasonable but the office was unprofessional.

PHENOMENAL -all around, We have a particularly difficult ravine back yard and had 6 large trees removed and one pruned out -not accessible with truck. The largest tree removed had a trunk that was over 24" in diameter (see photo of stump -I wear a 9.5 men's shoe size) and its shape made it particularly challenging to remove. I just can't say enough about how happy I am with the service (we've used other outfits in the past). DLL removed all debris, caused essentially no damage to neighboring trees, removed all the wood, branches and leaves and seeded all touched areas and then some. I had two other bids, one was close but would not provide the full wood removal; the third bid was 3 times that of DLL's. These folks were completely professional, courteous and accommodating from the estimator, to the office rep to the tree pros who performed the work.

Everything went great and I was pleased with the customer service until the day the tree was taken out. I received a call at 1:38 pm on June 8th from DLL asking if today would be ok as we were at Menards. Said they had a crew in the area finishing a job. Should be there within an hour. I asked the caller to give us time to get home. We agreed on 2:30 pm before they would start. We got there at 2:20 pm and the tree was completely gone. They were scraping up the last pieces of sawdust as we pulled in the driveway. We really wanted to watch the work from a safe distance. We had a long period of agony with that tree. Guy that took out stump was very nice too.

Asked for notification of 48 hours so I could notify the neighbor who would need to move their vehicles and was told I would be notified the Friday before the job. No such notification was given, even tried to get confirmation the day before and nothing. Leaving me in a position to have to wake my neighbors up early the next morning so the the tree trimmers could pull in their drive and drop from a work call to go remove fence sections. Got the same lack of responsiveness when it came to the stump removal... I got hold of the office and was told they would reach out to the Project Manager and get back to me, needless to say that didn't happen. Then suddenly without warning at 6PM on a Sunday night I had a guy show up to remove a stump. Again, I had to go have neighbors move vehicles and drop what I was doing to go out and remove fence sections. Good thing I am WFH or this would have been a complete disaster. I also had to contact the office to correct my invoice for services.... they completely forgot I had paid a deposit and didn't take it off the invoice.

DLL delivered on their promise to remove the trees, shred, clean up debris, minimize trunk stumps and hall everything away. DLL is reliable and they did quality work, keeping safety a priority. Price was worth the service the provided. We would definitely recommend them and use them again when necessary.

I got atleast five estimates and chose DLL because their quote was the only one that would cut the branches off all the way to the trunk and I hadn’t even thought of that. All the others only offered to cut the branches 3-10 feet away from the wires. The crew was phenomenal. Lori in the office was great.

They were prompt at coming to give an estimate and gave a fair price. They finished in a timely manner and the trimming looks great. I have used DLL twice now and I would hire them again.

DLL Tree Service cut down a large ash tree in my front yard. They did a very good job at a very good price. The workers were professional and concerned with the safety of themselves, the public driving down the fairly busy street, and my property. I would hire them again.

DLL were a joy to work with. After some challenging experiences with other companies, DLL were simply amazing. From quote to completion, the DLL team were professional and provided a quality experience. All aspects of the job were completed timely and quickly. Lori kept us informed the entire way.

They did a great job. Followed original plan. Was home at the time and would have liked if asked if good enough( would have liked bushes trimmed further down but told didn’t have time). Different crew did stump removal. Did great job and clean up was great.

I was very happy with the service. They completely cleaned up all of the debris and my tree is now safe for our children.

DLL was here when they said they would be. They were very communicative. They did everything we asked. They left our yard much better than they found it. Much better than I was expecting. I can't speak to how their price compared to others as they were the only quote we got. Honestly, they did such a good job, I'm really glad they were referred to us. I would happily hire them again, and if any one asks, I am happy to refer them to family, friends, and neighbors.

Super quick they were able to get me in same day as a job was canceled. They had the tree down before I got home from work. The grinder came a few days later, after horrible weather, and chomped it up good. So pleased how quick and affordable it was. Got quoted twice as much from 3 other services.

Fantastic! The 2 biggest reasons I was so pleased .... the crew heard my requests and cleaned up every bit of the leaves and branches.
