We were looking for a quality, durable 42 inch round shaker style kitchen table and chairs for our home. After serching the internet and visiting several furniture stores in Columbus, I remembered that I had purchased my first dinette many many years ago from the Dinette Gallery. My wife and I drove to the location I remembered and there it was but with anew name - Kitchen Tables & More. We were met by Sheila who listened and was able to show us the table that we thought would be perfect. She was very professional as she prepared our order. Because it was a special order the table would arrive in 4-8 weeks. We were fine with that because the room wouldn't be ready until mid May. I called today and our table is on its way. I ordered a $1,300 dinette online and had it shipped to my home in Georgia. Then when I opened the table top box to assemble the table the edge of the table top was crushed, even though the carton was in good shape. Apparently the damage was from rough handling during shipment. I immediately telephoned Dinette Gallery and emailed in photographs of the damage as they requested. To make a long story short, Dinette Gallery will not replace the damaged top. They said that because I signed for the delivery they had no responsibility and the problem is mine, even though it was hidden damage. I am letting other consumers like you know not to buy online from Dinette Gallery.

Tony Ramirez worked with us for several weeks. We were looking for a quality set made with solid Oak. Tony offered great advice and had us look through various Furniture Manufacturer's Catalogs. He also told us of websites to check. Tony was very fair in the prices he quoted, but we ended finding a deal through another store because the series was being discontinued by the Manufacturer. Tony is an outstanding guy. He went way beyond any sales person in any business I've dealt with. I personally learned a great deal in what to look for in quality made furniture from Tony. I will be recommending Dinette Gallery to anyone that will listen.

Before deciding to buy the table we asked how long it would take to receive & our sales agent told us "no more than a month, & maybe as little as 2 weeks". At the end of a month I called the store. I was told "it will be 3 more weeks, & your table is holding up other orders because they had to order some part. . ." I said I was not going to wait 3 more weeks, & that I'd been told it would be a month at the most. I went around & around with this company & finally we called the manufacturer, who gave us another story. We asked the manager if we could cancel the order but he refused, saying he "couldn't" do it, even though he clearly could. I wrote him an angry letter & he wrote back with excuses. We have the table now, & although we are not satisfied with its quality (there are scratches on the legs) we're just fed up & glad to be done with Dinette Gallery.

TONY WAS OUR SALESMAN. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE GREAT ADVICE. THEY WERE VERY PATIENT WITH OUR SMALL CHILDREN IN THE SHOWROOM. WE LOVE OUR NEW KITCHEN TABLE.
