Satisfied with the install of my wood fence. Had a few issues, Chris happily returned my messages and resolved everything in a timely manner.

Chris is very easy to work with and very responsive. He was here throughout the project. He and his crew were all friendly and hard working. The job was done in just over two days time and they gave us exactly what we asked for.

Chris knew we needed fence installed asap. He drove to property and provided a quote the day I contacted him. The fence was up in two days. Could not have been an easier process. Communication was good and quality of work was great. We re hiring his company to expand our deck very soon.

Chris was very prompt with his quote and got the job done in one day. When we had to push the job back a few days dues to weather, Chris was proactive in communicating with me. He did a great job and I am very pleased. I plan on hiring him again in the future.

I wanted let you know that I did hire Designer Framing. I will not hire him again for anything. He was to install 2 doors, only put one in. It was my fault I did not specify a 36 in. door - he put in a 32 in.door. I bought a 36 in. door and will need to enlarge the opening he closed in. He redid the vinyl siding up near the roof line of the porch - it is in worse shape than it was before. I asked about the old door that he did not replace - it was not square to the frame. He told me it could not be squared up. I went a bought another 36 in. door. My husband and I were able to install it in about 45 minutes and it is square. I have had to purchase 2 doors. I hired this company to save time for me. I am going back and correcting his work. When my husband was there the first day, he saw there were springs to attach to the door to pull it back. The springs are no where to be found. He did not fill in a triangular shaped area after telling my husband it would be done. Unfortunately, my husband could not be on the first day. I was there on the second day and did not know about the springs or the area to be repaired. I did get two other quotes from him for the front porch and demo a shed. I am so very happy I did not hire him. I will not ever hire him or recommend him.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY This was a Bait and Switch all the way. Owner of the company, Chris Westfall, sent us beautiful pictures of decks he claims to have built. Without our knowledge or approval he hired two outsiders to build the deck; one of whom could barely walk. The deck that was built had so many problems, structurally and cosmetically. After letting Chris know how disappointed we were in the deck, he came out to see it. He apologized thoroughly and said he was highly embarrassed about the quality of the job that was done. He was very nice and agreed to fix all the issues. A few days later he came out to fix everything. He fixed a couple things but created even more problems. Under the deck, there were 73 nails that were nailed into thin air, instead of the boards they were supposed to be nailed into. There are 57 spindles that are not level. One side of the staircase comes out 5 inches farther than the other side of the staircase. He used two previously cut boards and put them side by side to create the un-level 10-foot top-cap. We hired a local, experienced contractor to inspect the deck to see if it was even safe. We were told to tear the deck down and start over. They said the wrong size hangers were used, the bolts that were used were not for treated lumber, and the holes that were dug for the footers of the deck were not dug deep enough to support the deck when I asked Chris to see the building permit, he tried to say that he told us to get a permit and that he leaves that up to the homeowners. Really?! In the review left 6-03-2018 the client specifically stated the permit was included in the estimate. He also tried to charge us for trash removal of the deck that is still sitting on our property, and he sent us a fictitious bill signed by Mr. McLean from another company. Six days after the deck was finished Chris and his brother, who both sounded inebriated, started harassing us through texts and phone calls because they had not received payment for this embarrassing eyesore attached to our house. When they said they would come to our property and tear the deck down themselves, we called the Sheriff. The Sheriff came out and we filed a complaint. Before the Sheriff left he was curious to see what the deck looked like upon inspection of the deck, the Sheriff laughed and said, I could have done a better job. I would not pay these guys a dime. Let em take you to court. That is what we did. We ended up with a shoddy lawyer and settled out of court but Chris got paid just under half of what he sued us for. I encourage everyone that is looking to hire Designer Framing to take a look at the bad reviews posted on 05-07-2019, 5-21-2018 and 10-19-2018.

I needed a privacy fence installed in the back of my property quick. I had a few other companies give an estimate, and thought i narrowed it down. Got a call from Chris, and told him what I was looking. He came out the same day and looked at the project and gave me an estimate, that was much lower than the company i was going to select. He worked with my schedule, and even had the fence installed without me taking off from work. The fence itself is just what i was looking for, the quality of the materials and the installation is unsurpassed. I'll use Designer Framing for my next project. Also, customer service is excellent. Great work, competitive prices and excellent service, can't go wrong.

After having numerous people come out to give us an estimate to build a deck we decided to go with Chris. The best decision ever. They are very easy to work with (we even made changes during construction process). He would get back to us right away with questions we had. I would highly recommend these Guys! ! High quality work at a reasonable price.

I had an electric emergency last summer and needed a deck removed. The owner was very charming and charismatic with his onsite quote. The demolition was done relatively quickly. The reconstruction of the deck and subsequent addition of the 4 season room was a unique experience we did not enjoy. There was no qualified foreman on site most days for both aspects of the project, just us homeowners, thank God. When the owners father was there it was a couple of days a week and only for an hour or so. The owner wanted to be the focal point of communication yet went on unannounced vacations twice, leaving us with nobody to respond to questions and concerns. We found ourselves being head foreman every day as the *carpenters* would hang windows upside down, put in supports that were not vertical or horizontal, and they did not speak much English, so we had to point and use hand gestures a lot. They left early most days because insufficient materials were not on site to construct with. Stairs were installed that were not level, They were short of the existing pavers and with rails that were angled outward with no top rails. We finally put the top rails in ourselves. The owner showed up to ask for payment of the deck work even though the rails on the deck were not completed and the steps were wrong. They got that fixed quickly so they could get paid. The roof leaked because it was not properly sealed and the gutter overflowed. Their solution to fixing the gutters would have put a hole in my new deck and rain puddling into my yard instead of using the existing drainage system by installing gutter damns and appropriate caulking on the seams. That was a repeated disagreement between us which we finally won after taking videos. When we reported that the trim on the side of the room which was done by the new carpenter, because the original went back to Mexico for the season, did not match the other 3 sides of the room, we were told that they do not make changes once the project is completed. aka the check cashed. The new carpenter also stole equipment that I was using on another project at the house. This company did not retrieve or replace the stolen property and that new carpenter also left the country for the season. We have subsequently hired another company to fix the problems mentioned and re affix some of the loosening work. My advice is to watch whomever you hire and educate yourself for you may find yourself the uncompensated amateur foreman on your own construction project. Also, do not pay for anything until you are absolutely sure it is 100% complete to your satisfaction... guarantees are subject to the interpretation of the hired party.

This is a nice family owned company that is reasonably priced and gets things dine efficiently. We will be hiring again.

Chris and his team were great. I was given a quote right away and they came out in less than a week to complete the job. They did a great job, were very friendly and did quality work.

His work is not quality work. When notified he does not respond. Once paid he is on his way. Had them here to repair and paint my deck. When they left, I noticed the deck had white spots. Sent pictures and said he would come and fix it. Set time up but never came and stopped responding to texts.

They did a great job and did it quick! Did everything I was told they were going to do and the price was right. I'll be calling him again to replace my front deck. Chris is a great guy to work with!
