DENT DOCTOR

I went there to get the quote for a dent and few scratches on the door. Gave me a quote which I initially agreed on since the expectation would be a good job. Told me the job would take about an hour, so waited there. The dent appeared to be fixed but the disappointment came when I saw the way they fixed the scratches on the door. They just put clear coat on it and claimed that's the way to fix them not to use any paint but just clear coat to prevent moisture in. The manager of the shop told me that I needed to come back again to have the touch-ups smoothed out for the scratches since he realized that I was not happy about it, but the guy who told me about the quote initially never mentioned about needing of going back a second time to smooth the scratches. I thought this was a lame effort to diffuse my disappointment and the manager of the shop raised his voice that made me even more upsetting, though he apologized about it few times to me. Then he asked the tech guy to clean the clear coat that was applied on and took out the price from the original quote. If it was only applying a clear coat, I could go to the dealer myself and buy a touch-up paint and do it myself for that purpose. I thought this was supposed to be a professional establishment that people go to expecting something good come out of it when you need a car body works. Very disappointed with this experience. Follow up: I was quite surprised when the shop called me and offered me some solutions to remedy the situation. I thought this was a nice and considerate gesture from their part to ensure customer satisfaction. Thumbs up on this one.

It was easy to get in for an appointment. I dropped in for an estimate the Friday before. After discussing with my husband, I called for an appointment to fix the car and they got me in within days, They work was done in about 3 hours and I felt the price was very reasonable. I can still see a little of the damage but short of replacing the whole door, I am happy with the results. My ONLY issue I had was with the older man that gave me the original estimate. I had brought my father with me, since I know little about cars and he has worked with them his whole life. When he attempted to discuss repair methods with this man, the guy basically dismissed him, asking if he was trying to prove how old he was! I was shocked! I was extremely offended by his lack of respect to my father! I was ready to find another business to deal with. The ONLY reason I went with Dent Doctor was because of their high rating on Angie's List. As I said. The work they performed was satisfying, but I would be worried about recommending them to my friends for fear of them running into the man. The younger man that I dealt with on the day of repairs was extremely nice and accommodating. Maybe I just had some bad luck, but I do feel as though the owner should be aware of the behavior of this employee.

Fast and painless. The repaired bumper looked exactly like they said it would look.

Dropped car off, picked up an hour and a half later, car door looked like it had never been hit, they cleaned and polished the door as well. Repairman was very friendly and courteous, he wanted to make sure I was happy with the work done. I was very pleased with the overall professionalism and quality of workmanship. a real pro!

There's a reason why I keep coming back to the Dent Doctor for repairs. These guys do quality work for a good price. When I arrived for them to take a look at the damage they said it would be no problem to fix and that they could do it immediately. 45 minutes later I was on my way with no indication that there had been any damage to my truck. I've had the same results for the previous times I've called on them to repair my cars. Friendly people, good price and quality work is common for them. I highly recommend Dent Doctor to anyone who needs their service.

My car was damaged in a parking lot the day after Thanksgiving. It looked like it was going to cost a lot to fix. The insurance companies were giving us a run around. So I just took the car to Dent Doctor on Tuesday, 12/30/14. They gave me an estimate of just under $200. They told me they could have it fixed in an hour. So I took the estimate home, talked it over with my husband, called my insurance company and told them we were not going to file a claim. I took the car into the Dent Doctor the next morning at about 9:30 a.m. They called me at about 10:30 and said the car was ready. We went to pick it up. The damage was gone! They did an awesome job! I was thoroughly impressed with their timing, the low cost, their professionalism, and their patience. I would highly recommend them to anyone with similar auto damage!

Buffer and touch paint. If I had known they just cleaned up the area and touch paint the scratch, I'd rather go to the dealer, purchased a bottom of matching color, did myself than spending almost $100 for it.

A strong windstorm brought down several tree limbs onto the trunk and quarter panel of my Cadillac. I was heartsick and the best estimate I had received was almost two thousand dollars! My car would have been out of commission for three to four days and about 40% of the vehicle would have had to be re-painted. There is no paint like the factory paint and I had learned that lesson the hard way a few years back when a body shop gave me an "it'll be a good match" promise and it wasn't! Thinking the dents were too large and two deep to be removed I hadn't even considered a dent removal business. But two thousand dollars and 4 days of my time seemed excessive to me so I decided to give Dent Doctor a shot after reading the reviews on Angie's List. I could not be happier. Mark gave me a quick on the spot estimate when I drove in without an appointment. He said I could drop my car off in the morning and it would be ready the same day. He said the largest and deepest dent on the trunk would be the most challenging but he could fix it. I was ready to be a believer but this was all sounding a little too good so he gave me my estimate in writing and told me to call when I made up my mind. Twenty-four hours later I called back and booked an appointment for the following week. When I arrived to pick up my car this afternoon Mark said he wanted to take my wife and me to our car. I was ready to hear that the cost was higher, the trunk dent was too deep to remove or some other unexpected calamity had occurred. So you can imagine my delight when he simply wanted to personally show us their craftsmanship, answer any questions we might have and thank us for the business! The car was flawless! I defy anyone to show me where these dents were. I can't see them and I know where they were! The serious dent in the trunk was gone. No evidence remained that it had ever been damaged at all. And the price.....right on Mark's original estimate and over a thousand less than my estimate from another source. And my factory paint job is untouched. I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Mark and his staff to anyone who wants a reasonable price, quick and professional service and an honest approach to your needs as a customer.

Very professional, better price then other places in town, job took only @ 3 1/2 hours, and best of all.... You can't tell there was ever a problem. They did wonderful work. Would highly recommend them!!

I stopped in to get an estimate and was able to get the dent in my new car repaired right away. It took only 1 hour. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and courteous. They recommended doing a "paint less" repair because the finish of the car (pearlized white) is difficult to match and would have required substantial painting. The dent included a crease in the metal but the repair was very well done. It is now virtually impossible to detect. I was surprised that the estimate was $400 for what amounted to just under 1 hour of work, but the quality and convenience were worth it.

Dent Doctor is amazing! An excellent value with great high quality work. I had my 2006 Honda detailed and it came out looking like new! They polished and buffed everything to a shine. Even the engine looks brand new. I also had a relatively large dent repaired and it came out looking quite amazing. I will absolutely be back and am looking forward to surprising my wife with an auto detail of her own car!

Dent Doctor took my car right in and they were extremely helpful. They told me that they could secure the molding using the remaining connectors and some glue, but it might not hold forever. The price was reasonable and I thought their assessment was accurate. The molding is still in place after a couple of years.

We had a fender replaced on daughters 2007 Honda, Civic. They did a good job but never replaced a broken mud flap. I would have been happy to pay for the mud flap but they didn't quote me a price until after I was there to pick it up. Now I have to take the car back to have the mud flap installed. Once again the fender looks good but I have to return a second time to have the work completed.

They removed a dent on the leftside fender behind the headlight. They also removed another dent that I did not ask them to be removed. This was after they had given me the price for the original request. They went beyond what I asked for. This is the second time I have used them an have been completely happy with the work and freindliness of the owner and the the staff.

I had issues with my front bumper of Honda Odyssey on the passenger side. It was hanging and hinges were broken. Some paint was also removed. I went to Dent doctor and they offered 2 estimates, one a touch up ($175) and replace the bumper ($850). I called them to set an appointment for the job, pulled in another hour and the car was ready within the next hour!!! I did the touch up and it was excellent. Hardly any sign that the bumper was off and the paint was damaged. Great work ! Highly recommended

The rear bumper of my 2011 Prius was damaged. I went to one place and they wanted $875 without replacing the bumper and 3 days to do the work. I went to Dent Doctor and for the same amount I got a new bumper and they did it in less than 2 hours! The manager, Ahmad, is quick, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The work the body guy did on the car was excellent. I would go there again without hesitation.

I have used Dent Doctor multiple times over the years and have always found them to be very efficient and professional. I pull in without an appointment and they consistently give me an estimate immediately. This time they explained that they may not be able to buff out the entire scratch since they both involved some plastic trim. They spent @ 30-40 minutes and were able to get it looking almost like new. Any damage is not noticeable now. Excellent job.

We made an appt to return for a repair to the original services. They made good on their promise and totally resanded and painted the area. It looks very nice. They were understanding, and there was no additional charge.

I just used a company called Dent Doctor for my car repair. Dent Doctor was a referral from my neighbor.

I went in and showed the dent to the manager. He explained why it was important to fix a plastic bumper right the first time and why repairing the paint on a plastic bumper was important.. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. They did an excellent job. With the exception of a few tiny paint lines, the area looks as good as new. The manager and receptionist were personable. And the price was fair. If I am unfortunate enough to have a similar accident, I know where to go.

I had 2 door ding type dents in the passenger door/quarter panel of my car from an shopping cart. They got me right in (even without an appointment). The work was done very carefully too as to not damage the sound deadening material installed throughout the car. The results were outstanding and you cannot even tell there was ever a problem. I am VERY VERY picky about my cars and highly recommend them for any vehicle you have.

They really stood out to me. My insurance company did an estimate on it and wanted $1,200 plus I would've had to pay my $500 deductible. They would've needed the car for a week and I would've needed a rental car which would've cost me another $150 or so. I was looking at anywhere from $1,800 to $2,000 and $500 of that would've been out of pocket with the rest being on the insurance company. I thought it was outrageous, but with that being said it was a 10 year old car. They would've removed the door panel, put on a brand spanking new one, and did the painting. They would've did the primer, the base coats, the color, and then the top coats. Everything would've been put into a like new condition. I took it to the Dent Doctor and they said they could do it for $350 within two hours. I didn't need a rental car and just took it in. They gave me the estimate, it sounded good to me, and I had the work done. When the work was finished I was astounded. I knew where the dent was at and if I go out and look at it I can still kind of see where it was at, but it was within 97% of looking like a brand new door. They didn't do any painting, but no painting was needed. The original paint was still intact. There were not any scratches on it or anything. There was some slight coloration from the bumper or whatever of the other vehicle which buffed out nicely. I was very surprised. It wasn't perfect like dropping $2,000 at the auto body place, but I was more than happy with the end result. Sometimes we wonder why we spend the money on Angie's List, but I don't because I've been using them for years. What I've saved on this project alone will pay for Angie's List for the next 20 years. I highly recommend this company. The reviews I've seen on them are mostly good, but there was an occasional one that wasn't so good. It may just be a cultural difference with some people, but I found that the owner and the person I worked with to be top-notched in all respects and more than happy to make me pleased. I cannot speak high enough of them. On their website I think they showed a senior or an Angie's discount. I thought it said 20, but I didn't know if that meant 20% or something else. I was kind of hoping for 20%, but it's not and was really like $20. I don't think they are trying to trick you or anything, but it could be clearer that any discount, if any, is minimal. They clarified it before any work was done and there was not a surprise there. They gave me an extra $20 off the price and either with or without that adjustment I would still say the value was excellent.

I went to get a quote from them to fix a dent in my passenger side front door from a person hitting my car with their door. The manager was very responsive, checked it and gave me a quote on the spot. He said they could fix it in 45 minutes right then, so I agreed to have them repair it. He also fixed a ding at the bottom of the door from the original damage, and I showed him a spot that I had tried to repair with paint myself from a rock, and he took it back in at no charge and fixed that spot on the hood. I will take his advice and avoid using the touch up paint!

Did not have work performed. Referred me to a few auto body shops.

We decided to go with another bodyshop. Up date- I was called at home by the body shop after I wrote this review. I spoke with the manager and sent him a copy of the e-mail I sent to his attention. This e-mail had the vin number, make model and a few other facts. Which I sent twice. I did speak with him in regards to the price of this and yes he said he could not give a correct estimate with out looking at it. This would just be a ball park based on the information I gave him and not a true estimate.
