It turned out fine. I was pleased with the work they did for me.

I have already recommended Deluxe Door Systems after my experience. I placed a call around 9 am and my service was completed by 11:30am. Lisa was able to set up an appointment with Jeff and Anthony who went above and beyond. My door used to sound like it was going to come crashing down on the car but is now so quiet with the new rollers. They also reprogrammed the remotes and fixed the light so it actually turns on when the door opens. Jeff also showed me how to make the Adjustment for the next time it happens.

Best $100 I've spent in awhile. The technician, Jeff W, was on time, friendly and thorough. I don't think my door sounded this good on the first day it was installed. I'm very pleased with everything. Thanks!

I made a mistake that had caused the doors not to open, I had been instructed not to change the switch. The integrity of a company is revealed when they continue to support you after they have installed something and you have paid for it. This was just a wonderful goodwill gesture. I cannot say enough good things to praise this company. Particularly, Jeff, Lisa, Angie, and other staff were wonderful.

I called for service about 11:00a; I was thrilled that same day service was available and given the apx service time of 2:00p - 5:00p. Jeff called prior to arriving at my home, he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could arrive early. Jeff was very professional. He found the initial problem and additional items that would soon become problems and made the recommendation to remedy the issues. It was a very cold (-20 degree w/wind chill) day, Jeff never complained and even hesitated when I invited him into my home to warm up as I paid the invoice. This is the second time I have used Deluxe Door Systems (Previously They replaced the spring). They do excellent work. I have recommended them to friends and family who have needed garage door service.

Great! These guys did a great job, which got me lots of brownie points with my mother-in-law. Also, it was right around Christmas, and they were able to get to her really quickly. I was worried whichever door repair guys I selected would blow it, and I'd be in the dog house, but Robert and Anthony kept me in her good graces. I'd use these guys again, and I recommended them to a good friend of mine earlier today.

John was prompt and thorough with his inspection of our door. He immediately diagnosed the problem and got to work fixing the broken spring. improvement for sure but it still squeaks and the problem is still there. The receptionist finally did arrange for someone different to come out on 1/9/13 to look at it and tell me what I need to have done. I will report to you after this is done. My worst thing for using Angies List is that I get the same thing over and over is how far away I am from everybody its like I am not worth their driving time. Every person tells me how far away I am!!!

On the coldest day of the year, my garage door spring decides to break. It was impossible for me to lift the door myself, so I knew I needed to have service quickly. I called Deluxe Door Systems and told the receptionist my situation. She was very supportive and told me that she could have a crew out between noon and 5pm that same day. She apologized for the long span of time, but assured me that they would be there that same day. Sure enough, Robert and Anthony from Deluxe Door Systems showed up within an hour and a half! Robert and Anthony were very polite, professional and friendly. They explained everything before they performed the work and they even performed a fifteen point inspection of the garage door system. They oiled all the key parts after replacing both springs on my 16 foot garage door and showed me how to oil the parts to help extend the life. They were quick and efficient and I would definitely hire them again!

It went wonderfully. They were very honest with me! I figured I would need a lot of work done, but they insisted the only thing that needed to be done was a lubrication of the system and it works great again! I would recommend their services.

I had another group install the opener. They didn't have all the equipment and limited their effort . Deluxe corrected the tension and completed the installation.

Two separate service calls were made a few days apart, first to replace a broken spring and then replace two door openers. Both times the service technician was right on schedule and called ahead. The technician was very knowledgeable and the work was performed promptly and professionally. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it. I highly recommend them.

Mark and another technician called 20 minutes ahead and arrived promptly for the appointment. The team took the time to ask questions to ensure they could diagnose the issue and ensure the right solution was being implemented. They discussed the process of installing the new opener and quickly got into work. After about 30 minutes the installation was complete and the team went through the features and upkeep requirements. I was highly impressed with their professionalism from start to finish. I will be keeping Deluxe Door Systems available and Mark's name for future needs.

Excellent experience. From the call to Angie and Lisa to the service team that performed the work, this company knows customer service. Angie and Lisa had the team out the same day we called, and the workers were terrific. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone.

My garage door wouldn't open..no warning nothing. Called the office and spoke to a lovely woman (Lisa and Mary are wonderful) who said they could be out today. She told me it sounded like a broken spring which would run about $250. Mark came out same day and with a charge of $75 I was thrilled! Lovely people to deal with and since I know nothing of garage doors I was at their mercy. Great job?Too bad it's likely I won't need them for a while!

My garage door opener (circa 1998) stopped working -- the motor ran but the chain didn't move. This was late on a Wednesday night. I picked from the providers on Angie's list and sent an email providing the model number of my opener, a description of the symptom, and requesting an appointment first thing on Friday morning. I received an email on Thursday offering me an 8am - 11am window on Friday, which I accepted. The technician arrived at 10:30am on Friday, within the promised time range. Upon pushing the opener button twice, he immediately diagnosed that the motor was fine and that the gears needed replacing. I was given the option of repairing it for $145 or replacing it for $300 - $400. The tech advised that the motors almost never failed and that repairing it should get me another 15 years of life out of it. He said unless I had a need for some feature that my unit didn't have, that I should just have it repaired. I agreed to have him repair it. He went out to his truck and brought in a ladder, some tools, and a pre-packaged bag of replacement gears. He accomplished the repair with the impressive precision and efficiency one would expect from his stated 16 years of experience repairing garage door openers. (Disassembling and reassembling the thing was somewhat involved, and it probably would have taken me hours even if I had a repair manual.) The gear he removed from the opener had every tooth worn down to the point that they no longer made good contact with the plastic worm drive (which he also replaced, even though it still looked like new) on the motor shaft. He said this was typical after about 15 years because the gear was made of softer material than the worm drive and gradually got ground down. He then adjusted the chain, adjusted the door springs, and lubricated all the door hinges and track rollers with a large spray bottle of WD-40. He advised that I should repeat that lubrication 4 times per year. (Good to know, since I had never done it since buying the house in 1999!) The opener works like new and the door no longer groans and squeaks (something I didn't even notice until the noise was no longer there because I had gotten so used to it). The whole thing took just a bit over a half-hour. I am very satisfied with the scheduler, the technician, and the work done.

Work was wonderful. We called at 9am they were here by 11:15 and done by 12. Same men who installed our garage door opener.

Update as of December 4 I was contacted by a representative of Deluxe Door Systems who apologized for their failure to understand the terms of the deal offered on Angie's List and therefore their failure to contact me to schedule service. She was very polite and explained that they had not used this format previously and were expecting customers to take the initiative to schedule in contrast to the expectation set within the offer, which was for them to call the customer within a specified period of time. She offered to schedule the service when she called today, but I explained that I had given up on them and had another company coming to my home within the hour to perform the needed service. She also explained that I would need to seek refund of the $89 special deal directly from Angie's List. I believe there was genuine confusion that resulted in a poor experience for both company and customer.

Robert and Anthony installed our new door. This company is A++. From the estimator Angie, to the installers Robert and Anthony. Workmanship, friendliness, and quality products make Deluxe Door Co. the best in the Columbus area. I highly recommend this company!!

Excellent! Our springs broke last night around seven 7 PM. My husband called first time Friday morning at work, and my door was fixed before noon! We had used deluxe doors before. Mark and his assistant were professional, quick and so courteous!

Very prompt, friendly people and very clean. Thought they were up front and honest.

Repair man came few minuted late but went to work immed was done in no time, gave us a discount. Due to other recent services. Would use again.
