Repair person explained the reason the spring failed so soon--- too small for the door. Was willing to hold off on installing a new one if the company selling the broken one would acknowledge the "lifetime" warranty. When they wouldn't, the new spring was installed quickly. I was given advice on how to maintain the spring and rollers. Inspected the rollers and did not add on any cost.

John Sr. arrived as scheduled to replace our garage door opener system. Replaced keypad on exterior and interior, and programmed all accessories. Greased all interior joints and made suggestion as to energy efficient garage doors. He was very professional, efficient and patient with my many questions.

Called in am. They came on time at 3. Could have come sooner but I wasn't available. Fixed door and provided new remote and keypad at my request. Have used beforenwith similar response time. Highly recommend. Gave Angie's List discount.

Deluxe Door Systems was very responsive and were on time to the appointment. The crew were very professional and explained the work they were completing. They offered me options of replacing the broken spring with the same grade or upgrading to a heavy duty spring. No pressure sales and completed the work as promised. They even checked the alignment and function of the door and provided me with some simple care suggestions. Great company and will get my recommendation.

Another vendor came this morning and I'd expected to replace or tighten one spring. He wanted $249 to replace the whole springs, etc. I checked Angies List again and saw that Deluxe Door offered a $225 deal for replacing springs. I called Deluxe and they came out in less than two hours. Their initial estimate was high, but when I said I'd already had a $249 estimate, they did the work for $245. The technician was courteous, friendly, and professional. He was very helpful and did the work immediately. I suspect he was here less than 45 minutes, and part of that was explaining things to me and waiting for his manager to call back about the price reduction.

Mark and Terry did a fantastic job. They had figured out the problem (broken spring) just from my description to the receptionist (who was also excellent). They finished the job very quickly and professionally and gave me some pointers for keeping everything working smoothly. I'm very glad to have had them doing the work and would use them again anytime.

This company came out the same day as called. Since one of their employees had just been less than a month before for a related issue and did not "catch" this problem, the technician gave me a discount. He also gave the entire door system a "once over" to be sure everything was operating correctly. He could have told me that I needed a new door opener but instead, told me I just needed to replace one part and it should be good for a few more years. I appreciated the honesty and quick service and will continue to use this company.

I called the to fix a broken wire that came lose causing my door not to open.. I also asked them to program new remote I asked them to install a new entry pad on second sir of duplex Here is the problems I had and currently have 1/ tried to sell me things I don't need 2/ my garage door opens and closes at random without pushing any remote. Happens on occasion I had to pull the plug on the motor - 3/ was not given angle's list discount 4/ collects garage door motors, will ask you for your existing motor before even testing it to see if it bad. They did this 6 years ago, but I did not realize this was the same company I used or remembered the exact experience when I called in - I remember them asking for the old motor then as well Beware, sweet talking, trys to butter you up to sell you things you don't need. I can see why they could be very successful to gullible home owners who know nothing mechanical. He is a good sales person My maintenance man as my witness to all of this I told him my push button panel fixed to garage was hard to push and sometimes it would not open at all His immediate response was " I have been in the business for so long and those things just go bad" he insisted over and over that they just go BAD and you need to replace. Do you want me to replace it? Do you want me to replace it? Do you want me to replace it over and over. Then I said "what if the battery needs replaced?" He looked at me with a stupid look, maybe? "but I can repace it for you for only 55 USD!!!! " l said, lets wait and see if my battery is dead.. After they left, I bought a 9 volt battery and the thing worked like a charn My maintenance man was there to witness all of this \ Right off the truck, He also told me I needed a new garage door.. I have a OLD wooden door - it was just OLD but in good condition. Why do I need a new door I say? It's old. There isn't any significant damage to the door..I really did not understand this I have an OLD door. It needs rubber on the bottom This door is very heavy and made with quality.. It may need some repair only YES it is 25 years old, but it WORKS and not going ANYWHERE moral of the story, just because they have a 5 star rating, does not mean you should trust... ALWAYS get a second opinion ALWAYS This happened to me on 2-3 occasions with angie list so called 5 star ratings here on angies Now i am going to start report these guys. The problem with garage door companies is it appears they won't come out for an estimate.. the consumer is stuck with a service charge regardless and pretty much have to buy whatever they tell them that is wrong He also claimed that he was an expert doing this work for several years... if that was the case, why not sees if the battery was bad FIRST before trying to replace it? unbelievable

Great company and phenomenal results! Terrific deal for $89 to replace stock garage door rollers, inspect, tune up and lubricate the door and opener. Company was responsive and easy to work with. Phone call made ahead of time giving me advanced notice of their arrival. Employees were very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain their work. They even showed me what parts to lubricate in the event the door became noisy again. Took care of everything in a timely manner. Garage door was extremely noisy when it opened/closed but now its as if I have a whole new door! Absolutely amazing results as the door is now whisper quiet. Would recommend the company to anyone and will use again for any future garage door needs.

I called Deluxe Door on Thursday, they arrived the next day when they said they would (with a call ahead from Mark). They quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. They were at my house for less than an hour, replaced the springs on my garage door, adjusted everything and made sure the garage door was working properly. Quality job!!

They were great. Actually sent two techs. I guess they were worried about the mess my husband had made. When they got here to see for themselves, they were ok. Just took a short time to get it adjusted and working properly. I will definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job. Mark was professional, informative and courteous. I previously had a craigslist independent person work on the garage door twice and did a sloppy job both times. Mark was able fix the last mechanics mistakes and get everything back to near brand new. Would definitely recommend.

First off - great quality work. I would not hesitate to call these folks again if I have an issue with my garage door. John W "SR" was the repairman. I submitted an email request for service a few days ago and was called the same day. We made an appointment for 3/16 in the AM. At 7:30 on 3/16, I received a call asking me to schedule an appointment. I thought this odd as I was under the impression they were coming sometime in the AM. I called them back and found out that I was already on the schedule and few people just didn't connect re: who contacted me already. Anyway, later on I received a call from John indicating that he had one more job then was on his way. John arrived at or around noon, quickly diagnosed the problems, and got to work after quoting me a price. I let him be and 30-45 min later, he told the repair was done and walked me through everything he did. The service was excellent, John was very informative, and I feel like my garage door is now in good shape. I think the price was reasonable and I'd recommend them. My only issue was with the phone call this morning that confused me and prompted me to call back in the hopes that they were still coming out to fix my garage door. Pretty minor, but I wanted to be thorough. Anyway, I recommend and certainly agree with them getting an A rating.

He inspected the garage door and opener and determined that the door had become detached from the chain, probably due to the release being bumped or slightly pulled. He lubed all the hinges and did complete safety checks on both doors and made the older of our two garage doors much quieter after the work he did on it. He gave us the Angie's list discount without a coupon.
