The staining of our newly built deck went great.

Brenda and Luke did an excellent job. Brenda is good about communicating and the work was started and finished as scheduled. The work was done neatly and the area was cleaned up well. She even offered to come back and return the furniture to the deck after a few days of drying time. Brenda power washed our house a couple years ago and I was also satisfied with that work. She has a very good work ethic and wants to make sure her clients are satisfied. I certainly would recommend her and would hire her again.

Were so very happy with the job Brenda Farley did. She came on time and did such a nice job, so much so, that you would never know the deck was ten years old. Before Brenda started the job, she explained everything that she needed to do. She was a pleasure to work with, and we intend on having her come back every year as needed.

Everything went as planned. She always listens to what I ask of her. The house looked so bright and clean after she had finished power washing.

Brenda is absolutely wonderful to work with! We had stain on the porch floor that had been there so long we no longer remembered what was used previously. We also had replaced the cedar boards on the deck with pressure treated wood so trying to get everything to match was going to be challenging. Brenda recommended options for us, providing details and rationale for the option she was recommending. Brenda was meticulous in putting up plastic prior to starting the job and was able to get all of the old stain off the porch floor. Brenda communicated well throughout the project and the end result was a high quality and professional painting and staining job. Brenda previously power washed our home and we'll be giving her a call the next time it is needed.

Our aging deck was left untreated for a number of years. After getting several estimates, we selected Deck Escapes. Owner/Operator was very knowledgable and professional. Benda made sure in every step of the process that we were satisfied with the work. Our deck was restored and stained and sealed beautifully. Brenda's attention to detail demonstrated her professionalism and commitment to quality work. Prior to restoration, minor repairs and adjustments were made to ensure an excellent end result. She volunteered to come out and look at the deck. After looking at the deck she gave me advice on prepping and staining the top rail, and sent me an email with the brand and color of the deck stain. On her advice, I had Deck Escape power wash and apply a second coat of stain to the deck floor, while I sanded down and stained the top deck rail board. I want to thank Brenda Farley for the great work she has done to make my deck look new again.

Our deck looks great. It was a great experience from the beginning to the end of project. I would recommend to anybody who needs deck work.

Brenda is meticulous and hard working! She even did some repairs to loose boards and joints. Very pleasant to work with.

It went 100% better than expected. Anyone that has needed any type of deck maintenance knows that most companies only build decks but want nothing to do with the upkeep. I was leery based on previous experiences but Brenda is the absolute best at what she does. They made sure bushes, etc. were covered during the pressure washing of the deck and house and also during the staining. Her company is the one you want regardless of what type of work you need done.

They did a fabulous job!! They were not he low cost estimate, but I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of restoring your deck. Our decks and stairways had gotten dull and not very attractive; Deck Escapes restored them to their original condition. It's so much more fun to sit out on our "new deck" and enjoy the outdoors, thanks Brenda!!

They did an outstanding job. We are very pleased with their work.

Brenda did a huge project for me and it did not last 30 days. When we hired Brenda, she came in with a nice portfolio, copies of her business license, her E&O/bond. Said she quarentees her work and products. I began texting and calling her to let her know we were unhappy. She said give her time and let her talk to her woodsy friends and other contractors. I agreed to do that. She came out finally to look at my deck in July and agreed she was highly disappointed in the the results. My deck actually looks worse now than when she first did it. We agreeded she would come back and redo my deck in the fall. September 2nd I asked her when is she coming back. She said I thought you wanted it done in the fall. I said it is fall. Now she tells me its to cold and she will come back next year. I paid over 6,000.00 for my deck and dock to be done. 6,000.00 for a job that held up less than 30 days. She posted pictures of my deck May 29th and June 18th I began texting her about the stain fading and white marks appearing. Thats like 20 days. Really people over 6,000 dollars for a project that held up 20 days. Give me a break. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK OR PRODUCTS. THEY CHARGE TOP DOLLAR AND SCAM YOU COMPLETELY. I have filed charges with the BBB, Angie's List, Ohio Attorney Generals Office, and have contacted an attorney. It is really a shame we have contractors who think they can rip us off like this. How do they sleep at night is beyond me. Please beware.

Brenda & Joel were outstanding, hardworking professionals. They explained every detail to us *before* performing the various phases of the restoration and were true to their word. Brenda kept us informed and made time to talk with us as needed so we were fully informed of any issues or changes to the outlined work. We were just so appreciative of their professional attitude and service.

Brenda and her team were wonderful. Did a great job on the fence and took extra care on my neighbors side of yard, covering plants and buildings. Neighbors came over to compliment the work and extra care she and her took. Great job. I look forward to engaging the team again on other projects.

The Deck Escape team was professional, informative and friendly. I never would have thought to sand the deck floor to get it back to a like new look. Power washing took considerably longer than anticipated, but the team persisted until it was done. They arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and worked around the persistent bad weather before and when the work was being done. I feel like I have a new deck now at a fraction of the price. Neighbors liked it too.

We acquired a new property in August. Even though the house was only six years old there was drywall damage caused by a motorized wheelchair. We chose to repair and completely repaint the interior. A local Sherwin-Williams paint store was contacted to request referrals for painting contractors. One contractor stood out from the rest in presentation, diligence and thoroughness. We decided to accept the proposal from Brenda Farley, proprietor of Deck Escapes Staining and Beyond, LLC. Ms. Farley invested several hours in taking detailed measurement, photographs and in discussion with us regarding what we wished to achieve from the project. We discussed what we would do in preparation for the project and what Ms. Farley would provide as a finished product. She kept us up to date with text and photograph submissions throughout the next twenty-three days. Ms. Farley also notified us of problems regarding non-decorating issues that may require attention prior to our move in date. We met Ms. Farley at the property when the project was completed to do a walk through and address any concerns about the work. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the interior finishes and the repairs to the drywall. It is impossible to locate the areas that were repaired. They were terrific! Brenda did extra research to make sure they used the best stain for the job. Brenda and Joel did quite a bit of extra work to prepare the wood before staining it. They also did a number of little extra things like repairing the gate to the deck. I was very, very impressed with how conscientious Brenda and Joel were. I highly recommend them and will have them back to restore my deck every time.

The fence looks great. I am very happy with the results. Brenda is very professional, prompt and responsive. She returned my calls within 24 hours. They had to come out a few times - first to power wash and then prime and paint. She kept me posted on when exactly they would be out to my house and sent texts with pictures on their progress. They were a little more expensive than other quotes I got (which she told me up front they probably would be), but her customer service made it worth it.

Brenda and her team are fantastic! We purchased a house last summer and the paver patio in the backyard was poorly taken care of and in need of some TLC. We found Brenda and had her come over for an estimate. She explained the different grades of sealants she used, what they would look like and was very knowledgeable. We scheduled work with her to follow removal of a dying tree next to the patio. There was delay in the tree removal, but Brenda was great with keeping in touch and after it was finally removed, Brenda and her team started work on the patio. They fixed some dips in the bricks, and then powerwashed, sanded and sealed the patio, and it looks like new! We couldn?t be happier! On top of that, she powerwashed the sidewalk that went around the house as well as in front, which helped to remove the dirt and grime from many years, and it also looked like new. Because she was just starting out, she even threw in powerwashing the driveway. We wouldn?t hesitate to recommend her for your patio needs, and are very satisfied with the work.

Patio looks like it did when first installed 10 years ago. Multi-colors of pavers were enhanced and after the sealer was applied the entire patio sparkled! So far this winter, after rain, snow and ice, the patio pavers have a definite sheen.
