He looked at it and bolted it back on. He also told me how to fix it in the future if it should happen again, which I appreciated. Although his prices are high, I was very impressed with his knowledge. If I ever had any restoration work to do, I would certainly consider him.

The furniture store where I bought the chair recommended Mr. Urton. He was very understanding when I agonized over the cost -- this was not a hard sell! -- and encouraged me to consider whether it would be more sensible to buy a new chair. After I investigated, however, I decided that the cost was worth it -- and I am so glad I did. Mr. Urton was a pleasure to do business with: he had to take the chair to his workshop, because it had to be almost completely disassembled to get at the damage (hence the cost). The work was done quickly and, as far as I'm concerned it seems better than new. I would definitely contact Mr. Urton about any furniture repairs we needed in the future.

He was great. He came out right away. Someone else said that my chair was irreparable and that I needed to buy a new one, but this gentleman completely fixed it and saved us $600.00. He told me when it would be ready and followed through with everything. He is very honest too about other jobs that I was thinking of having done as well.

It was excellent. He knows what he is doing. He had an excellent rating already. Called a head of time and came when he said he would. He returned our phone call promptly. He gave us an estimate and stuck to it.

I will use David Urton again and will recommend him to others.

EXCELLENT FINISHED PRODUCT. A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. IT TOOK ABOUT TWO MONTHS TO COMPLETE.

David found the wide walnut needed for the leaves rather than just gluing narrow strips together. He distressed the wood and matched the grain. In short, you have to be an expert to tell that these three leaves are not original to this table. It is an amazing piece of work. He was worth every single penny he charged.

WOULD DEFINATLY USE HIM AGAIN, HAD ANOTHER GUY HERE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO & HE TOOK FOREVER, AND IT BROKE AGAIN.

DID NOT RECEIVE ANY RESPONSE DESPITE TWO ATTEMPTS. EVEN IF YOU DON'T DO THE WORK REQUESTED, A RESPONSE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I DON'T THINK MY GIRAFFE LOOKED THIS GOOD WHEN HE WAS NEW!!! I HAVE HIRED HIM FOR THREE OTHER PIECES! HE WILL ALSO COME TO YOUR HOME IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE PIECES OUT!

DAVID URTON WAS ON TIME, AT THE FIRST APPOINTMENT AND DELIVERED MY FURNITURE BACK IN TIME AS PROMISED. I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH HIS WORK, HE CREATED A CORNER FOR MY PIECE THAT BLENDS SO WELL WITH THE REST OF THE WOOD THAT NOBODY COULD NOTICE IT IS NOT ORIGINAL. I WOULD USE HIS SERVICE AGAIN AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR REPAIR OF ANY KIND OF FURNITURE.

DAVE WAS PERSISTENT IN FOLLOWING UP ON ANSWERING MY TELEPHONE CALLS WHEN WE INITIALLY PLAYED TELEPHONE TAG FOR A FEW DAYS. HE ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. HE CAME UP WITH WAYS TO FIX A COUPLE OF THE ITEMS. I AM PLEASED WITH THE WORK HE DID AND WOULD USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN. I COULD HAVE REDUCED THE COST BY TAKING THE ITEMS TO HIS SHOP, BUT IT WAS MORE CONVENIENT TO HAVE HIM COME TO MY HOME. THE CONVENIENCE FOR ME OUTWEIGHED THE COST.

THEY WERE OUTSTANDING. I HAVE ALWAYS HAVE GOOD LUCK WITH THEM. I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS NICE ANTIQUE FURNITURE.

MR. URTON COMPLETED THE WORK AHEAD OF THE ESTIMATED TIME. WE WERE CALLED BOTH BEFORE THE ON-SITE REPAIR AND THE DELIVERY OF THE REPAIRED CHAIRS.

RESPONDED QUICKLY. HONEST ABOUT THE REPAIR THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. GAVE ME INFORMATION TO HELP ME REPAIR IT ON MY OWN.

HE FIXED THE BAR CHAIRS BETTER THAN NEW, AS WELL AS, THE SPINDLE BACK CHAIR. THEY ARE ALL TIGHT AND SAFE TO USE NOW. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT CHEAPER THAN BUYING NEW BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL A PART OF A LARGER SET OF CHAIRS SO IT WAS WORTH SAVING THE CHAIRS. MR. URTON WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL AND I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN. HE TOLD ME THAT IF YOU TAKE THE FURNITURE TO HIM RATHER THAN HIM COME TO YOU, YOU SAVE SOME MONEY. LOWER HOURLY RATE.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE VERY GOOD ABOUT RETURNING CALLS. THE EMPLOYEE WAS A VERY NICE MAN AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THE REPAIRS LOOK GOOD, THE NEW FINISH BLENDS WELL INTO THE OLD. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT THE QUALITY IS GOOD.

I REALLY APPRECIATED DAVID''S WILLINGNESS TO MAKE A HOUSE CALL IN THE EARLY EVENING HOURS, ACCOMMODATING MY SCHEDULE RATHER THAN INSISTING THAT I ACCOMMODATE HIS.

HE "RE-DID" THE SHELF AFTER THE FIRST ATTEMPT AT COLORING WAS TOO RED. THAT TOOK EXTRA TIME & WORK ON HIS PART, BUT I APPRECIATED HIM GETTING IT RIGHT!
