Overall I am very happy with the experience I had with Davey Tile. They are very knowledgable and a very sweet couple! They even offered to do a pattern on the kitchen floor for no additional charge (something their competitors did not offer and the main reason we went with them!). Our floor turned out beautiful and I couldn't be happier. We have received numerous compliments from guests on our flooring. If you chose to go with Davey Tile, just know that they do work at their own pace which can be both good and bad. Good in the fact that they take their time to get the job done correctly but bad because we were moving in just a few days after installation and having appliances installed. It was a little stressful for those few days. I would not, however, think that this would be a reason not to use their services.

The work done by Davey Tile was outstanding. The quality, attention to detail and pride demonstrated is unmatched in our opinion. They even assisted us in finding a great general contractor to help with framing and plumbing. They also recommended a wonderful design consultant at Hamilton Parker to help us select tile and create the design. The cost was higher then we orginally thought, however that was due to us adding to the project as we went and not a misestimate by Davey Tile. They did a great job cleaning up every night before they left and even walked our dog on days we ran late! We will definitely use Davey Tile again.

Davey tile was great! They called within a day to set up a time to come. Gave me a reasonable estimate, and did all the liaising between the tile store, the electrician, and me. They kept in touch as we waited for the tile to come in to the store, always giving me several days notice so that I could plan when to evacuate the bathroom. When they worked, they put tarp down so they didn't get my house carpet dirty, did all their dusty sawing in the garage rather than in the bathroom, cleaned up after themselves daily, and gave me daily updates on progress. I thought they were professional, and the quality of the job was excellent. I would highly recommend them. (A prior experience with a tiler was not nearly this good, so I have something to compare it to!)

I called Brian around 5pm, and they stopped by that evening to provide an estimate for the job. Brian and Chris were very willing to work with me on schedule as I had to coordinate with other contractors. They are very knowledgeable about tile and patiently answered my many questions and provided valuable input into my selection process and educated me on the various options. Brian is prompt with follow-up to questions via phone and/or email. Before installing the new flooring, Brian repaired a portion of the floor that was damaged by water at no additional cost. I was trying to get the flooring completed in the kitchen as quickly as possible, and I was amazed at how fast it was done...and it looks great! I'm so pleased with the results. When it was time to complete the backsplash, they spent time showing me various layout options and helping with the grout color selection Their help was invaluable. When the tile for the backsplash accent came in a different color than the sample, they were more than happy to work with the vendor to procure other samples for my review. They dropped off the samples, which saved me a drive across town. They even made suggestions on wall plates to use with the tile I selected. Both Brian and Chris are passionate about their work, are consistently willing to please their customers, and produce a quality product. I enjoyed working with them, and I highly recommend Davey Tile.

We called Davey Tile back in July and Brian and Chris came out that evening to size up the job and give us an informal quote. They also made some suggestions and recommended a designer at Hamilton Parker to help us select the tile and layout a pattern. We took their advice and after a couple of trips to Hamilton Parker selected tumbled marble tiles. At about $5 per square foot the cost seemed very reasonable. After our countertop was installed and we had picked out the tile, Brian and Chris came out again to determine ecaxtly how much material we would need and helped us finalize the pattern. We paid them for the tile which they picked up the next day. On Friday we had an electrician install undercounter lighing and they left some serious holes in the drywall. Davey was scheduled to install the tile on Monday so we called them Saturday morning to let them know about the holes They said they would come over in a few hours to see if anything needed to be done to repair the walls and also to let us check out the tile. They seemed surprised at the number and size of the holes left by the electricians, but sugested a way we could cover the holes and said they would apply material to cover the repair. On Monday they arrived at 11:00 and began to set the tile. They kept at it until they finished at about 6:00. They did a beautiful job and executed the pattern perfectly. The next day they came over after we got off work to apply the grout. They said we could apply the sealer ourselves, but since they had to come back to apply cauling anyways we decided to let them apply the sealer for a small additional charge. We were very pleased with the outcome, and thought that Brian and Chris went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend them.

They were wonderful and very responsive. Came out right away, looked at the job and gave us a reasonable quote. I went and picked out my tile. I was having company in the next weekend and I didn't think they would be able to get it done before that. They worked with my schedule and worked through the weekend in order to get it finished BEFORE my company came! I was so excited I could show off my new kitchen, instead of having just some sample and explaining "what would be done". They were super conscious of not making a mess, laid tarps out all over areas they weren't working on. Cleaned up the dust from the demo and install daily. Super clean, especially for a messy job like this. Went above and beyond helping us with our appliances. They had to move them out of the kitchen. We had some issues come up with our waterline to the fridge leaking and they were able to repair it for us, instead of us having to call someone else out. The best part of all, even with some delays due to some difficulty moving our appliances, they still finished ahead of time! It was a fabulous experience. I would recommend their services to anyone. They tile is laid in a pattern and looks wonderful. They even gave suggestions of things they could do and when I showed them a photo of what I wanted, they did it excactly like I wanted. I can't say enough about how great it was.

We were in a rush to tile the kitchen backsplash to finish our kitchen remodeling project in time for our graduation party. Brian and Chris came out for an estimate the same day we called, then called back a day later as promised to tell us which day they could do the job. They showed up as promised, did a perfect job with what was a rather complex tile pattern. Brian helped plan out some of the details of my design that I hadn't fully thought through as well, giving us a better end result. From first phone call to finished grout was only 6 days. Brian and his wife Chris worked together, and kept the area very clean. I've already recommended them to two friends and will use them for our next project.

He was very nice, and quoted a price of $100.00. We have hired him to do the work and are looking forward to him doing so. We found him very knowledgeable. We also went to a previous job he had done in a home and found his work beautiful. He came highly recommended by the homeowner. They cleaned up well and left no debris.

Brian and Chris give us the lowest estimate of everyone that we had out. They clearly take pride in their work and it shows!! They had suggestions for tile layout and weren't intimidated at all by our weird bathtub. Other people that looked at it wanted to replace the tub, which would have been more expensive, but Brian tackled it with no concerns. It looks fantastic. They ended up spending more time on the tear out because we had two layers of drywall on the walls and blown in insulation. They tacked on an extra change for the work but didn't try to gouge me at all. They also took the initiative to replace the blown in insulation without even charging me extra. The job took longer then expected at times as they had to schedule around their other jobs but they did a good job of communicating with me as things changed.

They did a very nice job.

They were very helpful in the tile selection. They gave me alternatives to some tiling I had picked out that was more pricey and showed me cheaper but still what I was looking for. Showed up on time got the job done in the time frame we discussed. Just really good people. Did a wonderful job. I can't say enough about them.

Because this was part of a bathroom renovation project, I don't know the exact price of the tile work. It was a large job; tiled floor, walls and shower surround. These guys did an incredible job. Our new bathroom is very clean and minimalistic; even minor flaws would show; there are none. Months later, we had trouble with a leaky shower because the door was cut unevenly. Davey came back and fixed the problem with some minor tile work, even though they did not cause the problem. Also did a thorough clean up after the job was done. These pictures don't begin to highlight the exceptional workmanship!

After an initial phone call, Brian and Chris came over the next day to give me an estimate. Their estimate was by far the lowest and I was very happy with it. They both worked with me to find a schedule that would work for all of us, as I wanted to be home while they were re-tiling my bath. With an old house, I'm used to "surprises", and while everything went smoothly, my replacement tub fixtures didn't fit my old 1930 plumbing. Brian suggested Shriner's Hardware, which was close to our house, and sure enough, they were able to find us some new fixtures that worked. These guys are great! They call themselves a mom-and-pop operation, and they work together beautifully. I was very impressed with their attention to detail, their work ethic, and their honesty. They actually charged me $65.00 less than their written estimate!

They pride in their work. They were real perfectionist. It took longer than expected and they did not complain at all. I am pretty picky, and it looks great. They were also very reasonably priced. They even took me to a house where they were doing work so that I could see an example of their work and that really impressed me. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
