I was very pleased with their work.

They were very professional, easy to talk to and good. They were a little on the higher side, and we did not use them. I had a discussion with the lady and I we could not afford them. However, I was very impressed with her.

They were on time and had a very common sense approach. They came out and talked to us about one of the plans we were thinking about. They guided us in a different direction. We were going to get an estimate from them, but they wanted 2% of the cost of the remodel job just to do a design plan so we decided not to use them. We just didn't want to pay upfront for a design we didn't know if we'd use. I partly understand it because they would spend a lot of time and effort coming up with a plan, but other companies do too and they don't charge.

Their quality of service and professionalism were very high. They were pretty responsive and were very professional. If need be, then we would use their services in the future too.

They did a great job and everything went well. We would use their services in the future and we would recommend them to others too.

Totally professional and great to work with from start to finish. We agreed on a basic price ($20,000) at the start and they were up front about the cost of extras I added. The estimate charge was deducted from the total. I was amazed that, considering the extensive choices and ordering involved, everything that showed up was correct. If you want a major project done correctly and professionally, Dave Fox is the place to go.

The estimate and visit went very well. We were very happy with the representative and they seemed very professional.

Some delays initially but company always communicated. Overall, experience was excellent.

Very positive. The dry wall quality was excellent, very impressed. Cabinets had issues from the cabinet maker which they handled well and got the issues addressed (replaced those with issues), worked within budget well, excellent design staff. My suggestion is that they are not telepathic, so don't make assumptions and communicate exactly what you want as the project progresses. They aso worked with us especially on the budget with specific items. We love it, and had a couple minor touch up issues which were also addressed prompty. They may seem a little higher price, but they cover everything and you get what you pay for. Good value and peace of mind company, Will likely use them again.

This was by far the BEST remodeling experience we have ever had. Tom, the Design Consultant, was very thoughtful in his design of our very outdated basement. Dennis, the Project Manager, always immediately returned calls and addressed any issue that arose. Warren, Brad, and the subcontractors were punctual, courteous, and very respectful of the rest of the house as they were passing through to bring materials to and from the basement. Michelle, the Interior Designer, was extremely helpful with carpet and paint choices, as well as layout. We are so pleased with the finished product (which was also completed ahead of schedule) and the entire experience, that we would never think to call anyone else for future projects. I will note that we knew we could find a company that would have costed less, but you truly do get what you pay for AND THEN SOME. Dave Fox is truly a professional company that puts the customers needs first. The absence of stress and aggravation was worth every penny!

I will never use them again as they infuriated me a lot. We used them for 2 different projects and I was very satisfied with the first project but I was very unhappy with the second project when they remodeled my bathroom. They quoted one product because it was similar to what they thought they were going to do, but they weren’t able to get that product. The first drawings that we agreed to, were measured wrong and we had to redesign it and pay for all the changes although it was their mistake. We also had a problem with the leak in the bathtub and the shower. So, they had to come out and tear off part of our kitchen ceiling to fix the leak. There were numerous other problems but we were just satisfied with the granite. It took us months to get the problems resolved and it wasn’t resolved to my satisfaction. I would never deal with the sales person again, but the production supervisor was great.

I liked their professionalism, their design, and everything. They were easy to work with. They wanted to make sure we were satisfied on every little detail. They also provided a three year 100 percent guarantee on their work. They said they would come back and fix it if anything should go wrong. We liked them so much that now we are having them to remodel our bathroom.

They installed windows for us about 6 years ago. The installer had not done a good job. He no longer works for them. I had a problem with the windows in spring. They stood by their work. They came back and fixed the problem. They were prompt. They also replaced the drywall and insulation. They did not charge me for the work done.

Their price was high and more than our budget. They were punctual and very imformative and offered many good ideas. I would love to hire them, but our budget does not allow.

I wanted a door in my basement separating the utility area from a finished bedroom. The carpenter doing the work was right on time, a little bit early actually. He did an awesome job. The door had to be cut to size since it wasn't the right height for a standard door. The door fits perfectly and the carpentry work on the trim is flawless. He also put a cat door in for me that I had purchased. It took less time than was estimated so they even knocked some money off of the quote.

I hired Dave Fox to help me design and build an addition on my house. I had no idea what an addition might cost so I agree to pay for design services up front as fixed fee and then have them bid the construction. Sitting at my table in my house, I asked what I got at the end of the process for my design fee. Their project manager / architect told me I got the drawings. They would later not live up to this. During the design process they had good ideas and listened to my input. This part of the project went very well. I gave them budget input during this phase. At the end of this phase, we had drawings that met my needs, however the price they gave me for construction was over the budget I gave them by a lot. Based on this I took my drawings and told them I was going to check their prices with other contractors. I then used these same drawings to find another contractor who agreed to do the work for 35% less and was well recommended. I submitted a permit application for the addition and used some of the design drawings in my permit application. Dave Fox then intervened with the city and told the city I couldn't use they drawings as permit drawings. They cited the contract I signed which states that the drawings are for use by Dave Fox alone. Shame on me for believing what they told me in my living room instead of what it said on their standard contact. It I had asked to change the contract at the beginning, I bet they would have said no. Shame on Dave Fox for not having their actions live up to their words. I'm still doing the addition with the other contractor and I'm paying to have the drawings re-done. Live and learn.

I had a drippy three handle shower/tub faucet in my bathroom that I needed to replace and had been told by another plumber that I could only have a one handle faucet installed because of Ohio regulations regarding pressure balance. I didn't want to change to a one handle since this would require a major remodel to my bathroom and I do not like the way that they look. I found a Danze three handle faucet online that is a pressure balance faucet with three handles (one handle for water flow, one for temperature and one to divert water to the shower) but the plumber still wouldn't install it simply because it has 3 handles. Dave Fox Remodeling checked out the faucet and found that it absolutely does fit the Ohio pressure balance requirements and ordered and installed it. They are great to work with and I love my new faucet! I will definetly be using them for more projects in the future.

Dave Fox worked with us to put together a design for the kitchen and bath, then oversaw all stages of the remodeling from the beginning to the end. They were extremely conscientious to get all the details taken care of and were great about working with us and our household (including our cats!) to keep the remodel working as smoothly as such a huge project can. We didn't come in exactly on time or budget, but it was close, which seems to be better than most remodels do. Dave Fox isn't the cheapest remodeling option, but they offer help with design (important to kitchen-and-bath-neophytes like us), attention to detail and minimal use of subcontractors that can be well worth the additional cost.

Had good idea, but very expensive as opposed to other quotes. Went with another contractor that specialized in Decks. Would suggest Fox for higher end jobs.

It went very well overall. It seemed to take longer than expected. The quality of their work was excellent. They workmanship that they gave us was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves.

We met with the design consultant, explained what we would like and discussed the work to be done. The stair wall was not even, and they worked diligently to feather the new wall into the old. They moved the electrical access from one half-wall to normal height on the other wall. The job included altering the stair hand rail to fit the door frame. They were always on time and kept us informed of their progress and times they would be arriving. They kept the area extremely neat and the dust from sanding the new dry wall to an absolute minimum. My one concern was that we would have trouble sleeping because of the dry wall dust once sanding had begun. There was no problem at all. They did an excellent job cleaning up each day before they left. They also fixed a closet door that would never stay open. They finished the work in a timely manner and were always courteous and considerate of our time. The remodeling work is so well done that it's impossible to tell that it's not original construction. They did an especially nice job tying the new wall into the ceiling, which has a stamped pattern. We were extremely pleased with the remodel. It's like having a full second floor now. Dave Fox had completed a bathroom and kitchen remodel as well as replacing a front door and side lights at our former house. We have always been very satisfied with their work.

They did an excellent job. They have good follow up, even offering to come out before the one year mark to inspect the work. The price was high but well worth the cost. I would definitely use them again.

They came out and gave me an estimate and showed me the value of the service. Designed with our input and did a great job! Very clean organized. Vacuumed and cleaned everyday.

The plan was to have the kitchen completed in approximately 11 weeks. Dave Fox presented me with a folder and a calendar marking out exactly, what would happen when. We were ahead of schedule and all were happy. Then, the inevitable happened. The kitchen sink, Kohler Sunlight, was late in delivery by about three weeks. Then the appliances from Clintonville Electric were delivered either wrong for the project or scratched and had to be returned, again adding on another three weeks. So even though the project was approximately 4 weeks longer than anticipated, it was not Dave Fox's responsibility or fault. It was frustrating for all parties, but was worked out eventually. The work crew reported every morning between 8 and 9, knocked on the door, introduced themelves, and were extremely polite. They cleaned their work area each day and left when their work was completed. Dennis Nelson etc, were just the BEST! Thoughtful workers and wonderful craftsman. I love my new kitchen.

They did an incredible job. They were very professional and very clean. They cleaned up every day. They completed the job on time. They were real easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.
