Description of Work: During renovations on my home I accumulated some 'scrap' metal. Rather than just throwing things away, I like to recycle. I've made two trips to Cyclemet and will be going again as I clean out my garage and find unusable metal items. You don't need a big truckload of metal. A visit to Cyclemet is easy and quick. You pull into the weigh station, they sort the different types of your metal, weigh it, give you a receipt, and then you stop at the payment window to collect your money. You do need to show your ID and leave your thumb print. Everyone is friendly, professional and efficient.

Description of Work: Had storm damage to a large weeping willow tree. Contacted first A-rated contractor I found on Angie's List and got an estimate of around $580. Then contacted Daniel Tree Service for a second estimate which came in at $170. The work was done the day after I accepted their estimate and was good work. Ron was a little short during our conversations but was by no means rude and for the quality of work and low price nothing that would keep me from using them again.

Description of Work: I have used Daniel Tree Services for years and my experience this time was as great as it was 15 years ago. Ron Daniel, the owner, comes to give an estimate when he says he will and performs the work when he says he will. I have trees and bushes pruned and he always does such a good job and if that weren't enough, the clean up is off the charts!

Description of Work: Called in the morning for an estimate. The owner answered and scheduled that day before lunch. Never showed for the appointment. He calls me almost two hours after the initial appointment and schedules another one for that afternoon then misses that appointment. Calls at least an hour after missing the second appointment to make a third appointment for that day. He actually showed up for this last appointment, never apologized for missing the other two, and gave me an estimate that was much higher than anyone else.

Description of Work: He removed two large hickory trees in our backyard, and trimmed the other remaining trees. The stumps were removed also. We were having a fence put in and had to call him back to remove a row of hedges.

Description of Work: Removed dead crab apple & stump. Pruned 3 others. Installed cables to hold up birch tree. Elevated pine and trimmed & elevated 2 Arborritae.

Description of Work: Removal of a large "smoke bush" and a dogwood, both had become scraggly. Removed dead wood from two very tall white pines, toped another white pine that threatened the house should we have severe wind. They also removed a scraggly scotch pine at no cost because it was blocking entrance through gate.

Description of Work: Called and left a message on May 1. They called back and got information from me and said they would come out and leave me an estimate within a few days. I did not receive an estimate, nor a phone call stating they either could not find the place, or they were too busy.

Description of Work: WE HAVE AN AGING MAGNOLIA TREE IN OUR FRONT YARD THAT SEEMED TO BE DYING. WE CALLED THE COMPANY ON MONDAY, THEY CAME OUT THAT AFTERNOON. WE ASKED IF THE WORK COULD BE COMPLETED BEFORE SATURDAY AS WE WERE HAVING A LARGE BLOCK SALE AND DIDN''T WANT PEOPLE TO HIT THEIR HEADS ON THE DROOPING LIMBS. THEY CAME OUT ON TUES, COMPLETED THE WORK AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING. WE WERE NOT HOME, SO THEY MAILED THE BILL. GREAT COMPANY - WOULD USE AGAIN!

Description of Work: PRUNED A LARGE ASH TREE NEXT TO HOUSE. GOOD WORK AND PROFESSIONALLY EXECUTED BUT DIFFICULTY IN GETTING THEM TO BEGIN THE JOB. WEATHER WAS PART OF THE PROBLEM BUT IT STILL TOOK 6 WEEKS FROM INITIAL CALL.

Description of Work: LARGE MAPLE TREE TRIMMED AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. DEAD WOOD CLEANED OUT AND TREE WAS SHAPED UP.

Description of Work: THEY TRIMMED OUR TREES AND REMOVED THE STUMP.

Description of Work: REMOVED A LARGE RED OAK TREE, PINUS STROBUS, AND FOUR SHRUBS. GROUND OUT STUMPS OF ALL OF THEM AND REMOVED ALL THE DEBRIS.
