Custom Deck & Porch

We are very pleased with the deck and the price.

When we called Tony for an estimate, he arrived early with photographs of some of his work. He spent a great deal of time with us describing his methods, answering questions, and finding out exactly what we wanted. Most impressive, Tony always called to tell us of his progress on the job, he always appeared when he said he would, and could not have been easier to work with. His professionalism was amazing, as was the deck. It is incredibly sturdy, well made and beautiful. We want to make a patio under it, so he used extra heavy beams so there would be no supports in the middle. He made a fantastic three shelf unit to hide an area where he had to remove the siding. The landing is extra large to balance the dimensions of the deck, the stairs are very wide, and we love having steps on three sides coming off the landing to the lawn. Tony was most accomodating, polite and always aimed (and succeeded) to please. He even helped us move in a picnic table we bought into the yard. When we wanted to keep a large concrete slab, (he was going to break it up) he moved it to exactly where we wanted it. This was one of the best experiences we ever had with having work done at our home and there were no hassles at all. We love the deck. We paid Tony more than the original estimate because he put a lot of extra time and money into building the shelf and upper landing.

He went above and beyond, was very reliable, competitively priced and is meticulous about his work. The quality of work was excellent and it turned out great. He was just outstanding and I would highly recommend him.

Awesome... the contractor did everything we expected. The contractor is very concerned that he is meeting your expectations as a customer. Unbelievable service!!!

We were considering redoing our rear deck because it wasn't constructed well when it was first build (i.e., it's not made of pressure treated lumber, the boards are warping & won't hold a stain, etc.). Tony arrived at our scheduled appointment and reviewed the job. He showed us a photo book with examples of decks & porches he's done and they looked great (and very much like what we were looking for). He seemed very knowledgeable about the work, building codes and materials. We were wondering whether or not to use real wood, one of the new composite materials for decks or some combination of the two and he was, again, very helpful. It looks like we may have to wait to do the work now, but will definitely consider him in the future.

Before, during and after the job was completed, Tony sincerely thanked us many times for our business and we're so happy to have had his service.

For the five days that it took them to build it they left the equipment all over my yard. They didn't clean up very well. They really do make a great effort to please you though.

I can t say enough good things about Tony. I really liked the fact that he did 90% of the work himself. He had two other guys working with him, but he was there most of the time. The quality of the deck far exceeds my expectations. He used 6X6 posts for added stability due to the height. The railing is fantastic with custom woodwork on the caps and rails. The job was completed in approximately 1 week. Don t expect engineer quality plans, or a typed written estimate. Due to his high ratings on Angie s List I did not question this, and in every case he has over delivered. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to anyone.

Tony is excellent! Always showed up on time or even early, did what he said he was going to do (and on time) and exhibited attention to detail. Has high standards for his work and went the extra mile with some parts of the project that weren't originally quoted.

Tony started the project when he said he would. He added extras (like the benches) that were not part of the original design (the original design had vertical skirting all the way around the entire exterior of the deck, but once he got into the project, he realized it really wasn't needed on the main deck level). He used the wood he would have put into vertical skirting on benches--that was his idea. Tony was polite and dependable--he was always here when he said he would be. Tony fixed our fence gate, both the hinges and the locks, for only the cost of materials.

Tony was prompt in giving me the estimate and provided an accurate sketch that incorporated all the things I requested. He gave me an anticipated finish date and only went 3 days over due to rain and a holiday. His work was excellent and he kept me informed of his progress each day. He responded to our questions along the way and he made adjustments when requested. He was extremely neat in his work and cleaned up when he was finished. I must say that I initially chose another contractor but our schedules didn't work out. I explained this to Tony when I called him and he was very understanding and had no problem doing my work. I am so extremely glad the other guy didn't work out! I don't think I would have gotten a better deck. I am extremely happy with my deck and several family members and neighbors have indicated that they wanted information regarding Custom Deck and Porch for when they had something built.

Couldn't have asked for more dedication, stronger work ethic and service. He worked through the snow storm and weather that I would not have imagined him to be there. He left messages daily as to the status of the project and what was left to be completed. He cleaned up after the work was done and was very polite and responsive.

It went very well and passed all inspections required for Union county.

I called Tony and he gave me an estimate over the phone. The price he gave was less than any other estimates I received. I called Tony and told him I would like to meet him. He came at the appointed time. I asked him to start the deck and he agreed to do it for the price he gave over the phone. After completing the deck he did a good job of cleaning up. Next summer I plan on asking Tony to do a bigger deck on the back of my house.

Tony did an absolute awesome job!!! We cannot say more....Tony was always timely, very professional, and communicated extremely well. On top of that his work is the best we have ever seen. My neighbors were impressed as well!!! Hats off Tony, this kind of work, commitment, and pride that you exhibit in your work is few and far between this day and age, but you NAILED IT!!!

THE OWNER CAME TO OUR HOME TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE ON A DECK. HE WAS VAGUE ABOUT PRICING FOR SPECIAL FEATURES WE WANTED TO INCLUDE, AND HE MADE NO EFFORT TO HELP US SORT THROUGH THE MANY OPTIONS AVAILABLE WHEN BUILDING A CUSTOM DECK. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE TALKING ABOUT A $6,000-$7,000 JOB, HE CLEARLY DIDN''T WANT OUR BUSINESS.
