Jeff showed up completely prepared and professional to complete the job. We were very excited to have our cabinets completed in our new family room. He seemed eager to complete the job and we paid him in full up front. When the first day of the job came, he completed about 10% of the job. He said the job would only take a week to complete only. We gave him the benefit of the doubt that his 'detail oriented' work would take longer and look pristine. As the days progressed, Jeff's visits did as well. Unfortunately, he never returned after the first day of demolition. We left our home open and accessible to him EVERY day for weeks as we awaited his return to finish the job. We contacted him repeatedly in order to have the work finished. Over the next 4 weeks of constant calls, we politely asked for him to return with no questions asked and he didn't respond. Then two weeks later, he returned to finished the shelves. As we anxiously awaited coming home to a completed entertainment center, we got home to a complete disaster. The shelves were uneven, not trimmed, and they were uneven at the edges. After contacting him again with no response from his voicemail, we had resigned to the fact that this job would not be completed to our satisfaction. The only piece that was remaining (besides the original request that wasn't completed the first go around) was the cabinet doors. We continued to contact him for two months. At this point all we wanted was the finished materials and we were accepting the fact that we would need to find another professional to finish the project. There were 10 more calls just requesting the materials. After 2 more months and many harassing calls, we finally were surprised at the doorstep by a set of poorly crafted cabinet doors. They were still wet with primer and stuck together. The corners were uneven and cut on a bias. He obviously was just trying to complete the job and had no care for what quality of work he presented to us. Overall, we would NEVER use him for anything and would advise anyone else to do the same. He's unprofessional, non-responsive, unreliable and inexperienced. Even if he claims to be a talented carpenter, his actions speak louder than his self made business card and false credentials. Please be aware and cautious.

Jeff had two other men working with him-Johnny and Jerry. They always showed up when they said they would and were respectful and cleaned up before they left for the day. (One day one of our dogs got loose and Johnny helped me look for him!) They were very hardworking and take pride in what they do. I will definitely use Jeff Land and his crew again!
Description of Work: Jeff Land is the company owner and we have used him for multiple jobs on our house. This time he and his crew tore down two walls on our main living area and put in some beautiful architectural details around the newly opened spaces. These mouldings and woodwork look like they've always been a part of the house. They also painted the walls and ceilings of the first and part of the second floors. This included the vaulted ceilings in our entryway and great room. They also blended the existing hardware flooring with the new areas added when rooms were opened up. Once again, the flooring is seamless.
