Critter Control of Columbus

They put in a cage out for my roof and when they took the cage down, there was a squirrel in there. They come out 5 days in a row to check the cages. It's working out really well.

It was good, very professional explained everything to me , he fixed the issue.

The company was very easy to work with. When I called and told them the problem, they explained what would be done and the cost estimate. I was also reminded to get a 10% coupon from Angie's List, which made the cost very reasonable for the work they did. Trapped and removed 3-4 squirrels, covered the hole and left it for 2 days to make sure no more were in the attic (they would chew through the temporary cover if so) and then came back to put a permanent cover over the access, that matched my siding & gutter. Sean was great to work with and explained each step as it went. Nice to have peace & quiet now!

Had a rather loud and (I thought) heavy-sounding critter in my attic. Turned out to be a cute little fox squirrel. I'd never seen one before. Rep explained everything each step of the way.

Brandon was very professional, courteous and went so far as putting plastic footies upon entry to our home. He located the bat and placed it in his cylinder capsule. He shared where he found it and we discussed thoughts of mine as to how it got in which made sense to Brandon. Needless to say I am going to have Critter Control do a visual inspection in our attic to address the real possibility there may be more bats living in our attic. I was impressed at how critter control and Brandon handled t he whole situation. Especially knowing we were planning on departing in the morning on a 4 day mini vacation. The price charged was equal to the hour of the morning and timeliness of the service. I was very pleased!!!

Excellently--so far, they've trapped one groundhog (desired) and one possum (anticipated, but let go); now if we can just get the other groundhogs trapped so they stop eating my poppies and tomato plants, I'll be the happiest gardner in the Old West End of Toledo.

Very well they put the trap in yesterday and it caught him last night. They set 2 traps. So will see if there are any more.

First we paid $300 to get rid of a groundhog that was living under our back porch. Critter Control used a live trap to capture it, then took it away and euthanized it. Later, we paid another $300 to get rid of a skunk living under the back porch. Then we paid over $1000 for Critter Control to install exclusion fencing in the planting bed adjacent to the porch. It worked! We came home one day to find the dirt from the planting area flung everywhere as the critter (most likely a skunk) attempted to seek shelter under our porch. We restored the soil, then later found many small trenches (chipmunks?) up against the fencing. We’re happy we made the investment: We don’t have to worry about critters chewing on the porch supports, and they’re also leaving our spring vegetables alone.

Critter Control didn't do anything wrong; they just didn't do nearly enough. The employees were friendly; and service coordinator responsive. However, the service technicians always seemed rushed when they were here, and even though they initially seemed to reduce/eliminate the mice, I was always skeptical of the inspection and modifications to the home to prevent future issues... and they charged a lot and for everything. When evidence of the mice reappeared after 5 months, they wanted to charge for an inspection again if doing so they found new entry points. I was quite sure they didn't find all of the old entry points. I figured if I was going to pay for an inspection I wanted fresh eyes. I brought in a locally-owned company and they have been fantastic and have found - and repaired - many potential entry points where mice and even other critters could slip into the home - all of which were clearly missed by Critter Control in the first place.

Critter Control answer my email contact promptly and schedule a visit. They explain their available plans and based on my input recommended the best plan to meet my situation. I plan to make this an ongoing review since the recommended program is a year long. However they get an A for promptness and customer service

Could not reach the carcass with normal methods. Technician waited while I removed a section of floor so he could remove the carcass.

It went very well. They were knowledgeable, they came here when they say they'll gonna be and did what they say they would do and they were effective.

Critter Control got rid of the skunk — it wasn’t easy, as the squirrels kept eating the bait. The traps were checked every day for two weeks, even after the skunk had been trapped (in case there was a second one). Steve and Amanda were super nice.

Very knowledgeable technicians performed the work. They were very courteous and accomplished the task in a timely order.

Checked 3X with no rodents captured. After the 3rd check, they dropped me. I had to pay $214.95 upfront.

Matt put out traps. He came out everyday to check on the traps and drive away the trapped squirrels. He was excellent in communicating with us regarding what he was doing and the progress made. He gave us an estimate for recommended solutions to keep the squirrels out and completed the work we wanted done. We were very please with his professionalism and knowledge!

Excellent, very professional, excited about and proud of their work. Trapped three squirrels that were nesting in the roof. Checked the traps everyday.

Apparently, I neglected to hire a company smarter than a 'possum. After three days, they removed the traps and left a note saying no animal was present. I called the office and they agreed to come out again. Again they just set up the trap and, while I was out of town, removed it in three days with a "no animal" note on the door. I was charged $200 and never given my Angie's List discount. One day later, I saw the possum going back under the shed. When I called back, they refused to come out again. The 'possum is laughing at Critter Control, but I am not.

The quote was somewhat pricy, and I inquired about the coupon on Angie's List. I was told it only applied to services, not "grab and go" which was what I requested. I asked again since the coupon is misleading, and got nowhere, just a repeat of the policy. I'd advise members to be sure the coupon applies to what they are requesting.

Everything, but the price was an "A".

Their price was excellent. My son was scared to go back down in the basement. He came through the basement window; the possum did. He said what do you think I should do Mom, do you think I should shoot it? I said, no don't shoot it! So, I called Critter Control. He took one of those little wire things down there and the possum went right into it. It was just one worker that came out. He said that we wouldn't have to use any chemicals and that he was going to use a little container and put food in it. He went right into it. It was a cage, a wire cage. It took probably about an hour to get the possum into the cage.

Squirrel-proofed the house and have not had an issue

Great, they caught it and took it away. Very informative, plesant and kind fellow!!

No nearly worth the money, over $400 and all they did was put traps outside of our home, did not catch anything, such a waste.
