We signed up with C R O?Neil to manage our 5 rentals. We were with them just one year, the contracted time, because we were not satisfied with their services. We had two houses that needed tenants and they were required to find. We had to take back one of the houses because after 3 months they still had no tenant. It took almost as long to rent the other house. We had been told that we could provide our own maintenance on the houses, and that C R O?Neil would contact us first before sending out a technician. This was the not the case on several occasions. We had to tell our tenants to call us first and we?d decide if we needed C R O?Neil to send a technician. C R O?Neil was supposed to set up each house with a water/sewer billing company and my tenants were expecting a monthly bill from this company. After 9 months of me calling the office and asking why my tenants hadn?t received any bills, they finally got it to work. Now my tenants were way behind on paying their bill and we?d had to pay it for them. Our biggest problem was working with Patty, the administrative assistant. She was rude to my tenants and often refused to speak to them. When I would call with a question or issue she?d put me off telling me just how busy she was doing other tasks. She?d tell me that she?d call me back, but never did. This was very frustrating. Finally, when I went in to pick up the keys and end our relationship with C R O?Neil I found out that they had not renewed the leases for 3 our tenants. When I asked Patty about this, she put me off and said she?d call me back. She never did. On the positive side, they did collect the rent each month (but did not charge any late fees when they were due). We are glad to be done with this company. Turning our houses over to them to manage was supposed to make life easier, not cause more frustration.
