Description of Work: The Generac company had two local installers come to the house to provide data and a bid for a whole house generator. I was impressed with Countryside. The crew arrived at the house, to include a plumber, and worked almost all day to install our generator. The chief electrician explained how it worked and setup a biweekly test system, which has worked. We did loose power one time at the house and the generator kicked on and did its business. We are very happy with this company.

Description of Work: They installed a whole-house generator about 18mths ago. Serviced it last Fall. Without their expertise, we would have never known about other "issues" with our GAS lines!! They did a wonderful job and maintain the unit yearly. Worth every penny.

I would not recommend this firm.
Description of Work: Our contractor used this firm on a major remodel of our home. There were numerous errors including incorrectly located switches, incorrectly configured lighting, and switching errors. We have switches that were existing prior to the remodel that do not work properly now, outlets that did not function properly after the work, and crooked switches that are an eyesore. Most of the errors can be traced to a lack of documentation during the walk through by Countryside Electric and a lack of oversight during the project. We still do not have accurate documentation, or a wiring diagram for the house to assist in locating the wires in the future. No schematics were drawn or used at any time. They have resolved most of the issues, but some still exist and we are tired of seeking resolution on them. They have tried to tell us that they did not cause the problem and attempted to charge us for the last visit, even though I was able to show them the original diagrams for wiring when the house was built.

The Builder, Countryside Electric, and the Homeowner did a walk through and made notes on blue prints and walls for placement of switches and lights prior to starting the job. CSE was never asked to do diagram wiring or schematic of wiring during and after work was completed. Although job was completed 12/07 we have repaired misc. minor wiring mistakes and let homeowner know up front if they find any existing items not part of the remodel plans that needed repaired, they would be billed separately.
