The home energy audit includes: 1. Blower door building leakage test 2. Infrared scan of walls and ceilings 3. Software energy modeling of the home 4. Visual inspection of the attic insulation 5. Formal summary of procedures completed and recommended improvements 6. Improvement analysis which will rank potential improvements on a cost-effective basis 7. Combustion Analysis if appropriate 8. Report with the infrared pictures. 9. Various ENERGY STAR brochures with guidance for air-sealing and duct-sealing 10. Contact information for local contractors who can perform the recommended work We offer specialized services at specific rates. We also offer infrared scanning at the rate of $65 per hour, and infrared scanning with the blower door test for $100 per hour with verbal reports. Formal reports with pictures and recommendations are furnished at the cost of an additional hour of billed time.

The experience of the audit was wonderful. The technician (Ember) was really friendly and relaxed about the whole thing and was really helpful in directing us directly towards quick fixes. It took quite a while for the report to actually arrive, which was a little frustrating. When it did arrive, it was full of useful information and we are using it as our home-repair to-do list, which is great. It ranked repairs in terms of their cost/benefit and time to payoff, which is great. As a final point, the bill came from a different company name, which was confusing. At first I thought it was a scam and almost through it out!
