Coopers Asphalt Sealing

Greg responded almost immediately to our request for a quote and was amazingly responsive during the process. Once we decided on the service and price, Greg scheduled for the next day. Unfortunately, weather did not permit the job but Greg informed by quickly of the delay. The next day the crew showed on on time, did a great job, and cleaned up everything. I'll definitely use them again and recommend them whole heartedly.

The seal coat result was good, however, the addition of asphalt result was terrible. The hot asphalt was unevenly added and not compacted to a smooth and level surface. The area is worse now than before. A total was of $480.00 and looks awful.

Never showed the whole week we were gone, the check for $220 was still under the mat when we got home. We checked with our house sitter periodically who told us they did not visit. I had originally corresponded with them on the Angie's List messaging and they were very responsive. They did not communicate in any way and have not yet despite my contacting them after I returned. If there's anything that frustrates me, it's a contractor who doesn't show up and doesn't keep their work.

We were putting a house on the market so we needed a quick turn around. Cooper's was the 4th contractor I spoke with. The first 3 either offered no call return or dropped us after giving us a quote. So ended up contacting Cooper's on very short notice. They were able to come quickly, although we ended up being rescheduled twice, the first time because they had a job run over and the second for weather. The communication could have been better on the rescheduling but overall very pleased. They were able to get the driveway sealed within 48 hours of my first contact and it looks great. Very neat with the tar, no spills or mess, and very nicely right to the edge of the driveway without going into lawn.

Their work was impeccable. He called me back, the same day I called and we scheduled the next. Unfortunately they had 2 jobs ahead of us and ran out of material. But Greg immediately called me so we wouldn't be waiting. He even offered and they did come the very next day which was a 'SUNDAY' to do the job. That is above and beyond customer service if I ever saw it. All of their people were very friendly and showed me items that I even missed. They trimmed, blew off the driveway and taped off all the sides of the house and brick. Not a spec of sealer anywhere but the driveway! The previous driveway person I used said that I would have to replace the driveway this or the next year. Coopers looked at it and said it wasn't anything they couldn't handle and I could easily get another 6 years out of it before having it top over-coated. I would definitely recommend them for any asphalt work. I saw them working and I know a dedicated team when I see it versus just hired hands. Glad I found them! A+++ rating.
