There was a leak that I thought was coming from my a/c. They informed me that it was not my a/c and advised that I call someone out to look at my sump pump. They added freon to my a/c. The gentlemen who came out was prompt and very polite.

Performed inspection as described in big deal.

They gave me an estimate around 9:30 am and returned to install furnace and AC around Noon same day.

We had CWA service our AC 2 years ago and was pleased with their work. This year we decided to replace our AC and gas furnace and called CWA again. Met with sales on Tuesday, liked their offer, discounts, and rebates (they handle AEP and Columbia Gas rebates for you, which is convenient). Said they had crews sitting around and had two of them at the house the next morning at 9am. Entire install completed by 2pm. Explained everything, went through it all with me, did quick, clean, quality work. They were very conscious of putting down drop cloths and cleaning up the work areas. Of course, I've only had the system for a few days, and the weather has been too nice to need much AC or Heat, but its all still working so far. Would definitely recommend.

is competent. But, this short visit was surprising. AngiesList should look into whether using coupon implied a more hurried inspection or not. I still gave A grades since a B grade seems a bit unfair perhaps.

I have lived in my house for 5 years with no issues with the AC or Furnace. When I saw the Angie's List $59 A/C Tune Up special, I figured I should have the system cleaned out (since I have never done it). The service tech that showed up was very professional, but I have doubts that he actually did anything to "tune up" the system. He pointed out several things that he felt was wrong with my A/C system (and a couple with my heater - so he turned the gas off without my permission)...all said, the repairs were going to cost over $6,000! So he set up a meeting with the sales department. That night it got chilly and my wife wanted to turn the furnace back on, so I had to go back down and turn the gas back on and that's when I learned that he took my furnace filter out and put it back in backwards. So I have my doubts that he knew what he was doing if he didn't even get the furnace filter back in the right way. The sales guys was to be at the house at 9am the following Monday. No show. Called at 9:30 and said he had it down for Tuesday. I told him not to bother coming...I had had enough. I am still not sure what this company did for $59 other than have an excuse to come in and set up an appointment with the sales department...

Another Angie's list group diagnosis was that the control panel needed replaces.....initial diagnostic visit bill of $98...then quote for materials, labor, travel and mark up of $913 . This seemed wrong and too high, so I had Worthington Air come out. They determined only the igniter needed replaced ($185) and I purchased the Advantage plan for $239 - so they did a spring A/C tune/cleaning. They saved me paying hundreds of dollars for someone who mis-diagnosed the issue or who was just gouging clients!!!

It went well, except Jamie found a leak in the 15+ year old AC. He showed me where the problem was and how much it would cost to replace that portion of the unit. I asked for a salesman to provide cost of new AC. Brian came next day and did a thorough analysis and provided cost of new AC unit. New unit came with 10 year warrantee; replacement only 2. New unit purchased and installed.

CWA's sales presentation and estimate were simple and straightforward. Their bid came in a little higher than one of the other contractors, but the estimator told me that he would be willing to work with me on price and was in fact able to basically match the other bid. They put in a full day at my house from 8 AM to 4 PM and got everything installed and working perfectly. They set up the equipment in conjunction with my existing Nest thermostat. They cleaned everything up and hauled away all debris and old equipment. They also spent time showing me how to operate the new equipment, including changing the filter. My only critique would be that the gentleman who did the demo (who I think was being evaluated by his senior colleagues) didn't respond to my questions. It seemed like he was on a script that he was supposed to follow and couldn't go off of it. It seemed a little odd, and eventually I just clammed up until he was done. Very minor quibble, though.

Showed up on time. Was fast and great at answering questions. Didn't attempt to sell us on anything else.

Very professional - they replaced the furnace and installed a new humidifier. They also returned promptly to make some additional seals around the duct work.

Kurt and his trainee came and took a thorough look at my heating and air conditioning unit in the basement. They also poured bleach down the drain to help with any mold that might be present. Take from someone who has allergies, that was much appreciated :) Then, they proceeded up to the actual ac unit and took her all apart and inspected it. It got a nice bath and wipe down. It needed it :) I appreciate everything Kurt and his trainee did! They were very polite and didn't mind me hanging around while they worked. Then, everything was tested and no problems to report. That was awesome! Nothing like peace of mind because I hope to keep my ac unit for as long as I can, but if it does need replaced in the near future I bought the advantage service plan. I would recommend that to everyone. The only improvement I would like to see is a little better communication between the dispatcher and the technicians.

Columbus Worthington Air replaced our furnace and air conditioner 4 years ago and did an exceptional job. The space for the furnace is very small and it was not easy to work in. The city inspector that came was very impressed with their work. We called them 2 years prior to having the replacements and they did not try and sell us anything at that time, they said we could replace a part and get a couple more years. That sold me on their company from the start.

On time, professional. Seem to know what he was doing. Made a suggestion to use different type of air filter, Answered my questions about the furnace and the service. Overall I liked the service and will use Columbus Worthington Air again.

Verified there wasn't an issue with the furnace found my thermostat went bad and offered to replace. I choose to complete the replacement myself to save on cost.

It went well. They were responsive and showed up on time. There was no furnace at my old home for a while so he refreshed my memory my memory of air conditioners, furnace and humidifiers.

The service technicians who responded were professional and friendly. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job.

I am without words as to how wonderful my experience with Columbus Worthington Air (CWA) has been. Right from the start, they were the most professional HVAC company I have ever worked with. Besides wanting to establish a service contract, my condo association was recommending a modification to the heat pump to provide better drainage. Contacted a number of other companies and got the run around, slow response, and poor follow up. CWA was the exact opposite! Called to explain my problem and the receptionist said that she would have their service manager call me back, which he did within an hour. Told him what I needed done, and he said he would send out one of his best techs to evaluate my situation. That tech, Justin, just left my house after being here nearly five hours. He not only evaluated what needed to be done but he actually did all of the work today. Unbelievable! He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and diligent in addressing one problem at a time. Found issues that a previous contractor had missed and provided recommendations and various options for addressing the issues. I could not be more happy! What a please it is to do business with a truly professional organization!

Very professional and friendly, nice process. Quality company, but price was not competitive. Price was highest of 5 estimates (range of $4200-$6569), including WiFi thermostat, humidifier, and one year maintenance.

I came home after work and realize the heat won't turn on. I called Worthington Air they came out that night, did a quick walk through. He explains to me the issues and pricing, once he got my permission the repair only took about half hour. During that half hour I learn a lot of furnace maintenance tips from him. He explains to me the why and what he was doing. It was very helpful.

I had a good experience. He did a good job. He answered any questions we had. We were actually leaving for Florida and I didn't want to leave my stepdaughter with the furnace acting up, so I just wanted to make sure it was serviced. It was more preventative.

During the inspection they informed me that I had a cracked heat exchanger and that I needed a whole new furnace. I got a second opinion and was told that I did not. So now we have our same old furnace and carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide level alerts that register zero. These are after consumer alerts and he was using a professional gauge but we are in our limits.

I went with another vendor, MetroAir as they came out and stated they would replace the coils for $800.00. Since I was selling the home I wanted to repair the unit as cost efficiently as possible.

Very friendly and professional and didn't try to sell us anything.

I have used Columbus Worthington ever since I used Angie's list to select them to instal a new furnace and A/C. I was very pleased with the sale and have used them exclusively for routine repairs. On this most recent service (as always), they called to let us know when they were on the way. They arrived on time and within the promised window. At all time they were courteous, polite and very professional. Bottom line is when Angie runs a spring A/C tune up special, I will be first in line. I strongly endorse them without reservation.
