Description of Work: WE HAD A NEW TRANE AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLED IN OUR HOME. IT TOOK ABOUT A WEEK TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SALES CONSULTANT, ANOTHER WEEK TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SERVICE SUPERVISOR (NO SATURDAY HOURS, SO I HAD TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK) AND ANOTHER WEEK FOR THE AIR CONDITIONER TO BE INSTALLED (MORE TIME OFF WORK). OUR CURRENT AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT UP TO CODE (AS FAR AS LOCATION), SO IT WAS TO BE MOVED UNDER OUR DECK WHICH WAS IN THE SIGNED CONTRACT. THE DAY THE SERVICE GUY CAME TO INSTALL THE A/C, HE PUT THE NEW ONE IN THE OLD SPOT AND MY HUSBAND TOLD HIM (ONLY ONE HOUR INTO HIS WORK) HE WAS PUTTING IT IN THE WRONG PLACE. THE SERVICE PERSON BALKED AND SAID THAT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG, THEY ALWAYS PUT IT IN THE SAME SPOT, AND 'WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER?' HE THEN SAID HE CALLED HIS SUPERVISOR AND GOT THE OK TO LEAVE IT WHERE IT WAS. HE WAS RUDE AND NOT VERY HELPFUL AND TOOK 3 HOURS LONGER THAN HE ESTIMATED. IN THEIR DEFENSE, THE COMPANY HAS ARRANGED TO MOVE THE A/C.

VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: HAD LOST OUR HEAT OVER WEEKEND. FIRST COMPANY CALLED NEVER SHOWED UP FOR TWO DAYS. WE EVENTUALLY CALLED THESE PEOPLE. THEY WERE ON TIME. ACTUALLY CALLED BACK TO SAY THEY WERE AHEAD OF TIME, AND COULD THEY PLEASE COME EARLY. REPAIRMAN WAS VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. DIAGNOSED PROBLEM QUICKLY AND GOT REPLACEMENT AND HAD UNIT BACK UP AND RUNNING IN A FAIRLY SHORT TIME. ALSO MADE TEMPORARY REPAIRS TO GET HEAT GOING WHILE HE WENT TO GET THE REPLACEMENT PARTS.

JERRY, THE TECH CLEANED UNIT, REPLACED A CAPACITOR AND REPAIRED A BURNED OUT TERMINAL. HE COULD HAVE SOLD ME ON MORE WORK, BUT FELT WHAT HE DID WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. NEWSPAPER COUPON TOOK $70 OFF THE $250 TOTAL. GREAT JOB AT A FAIR PRICE.
