Excellent! Worthington Air came out within the hour, diagnosed in 10 minutes and temporarily got it running with a used part until a new part comes in. Snow outside, 58 degrees inside and I have a terrible cold so he did what was needed to get heat back in the house. He was gracious, professional, and explained everything carefully. I will definitely be calling them again for maintenance.
Description of Work: My furnace died on a Saturday evening around 11. The pressure switch had stopped connecting with the inducer motor.

The AC part of this service call went perfectly. Jamie insisted on checking my furnace, even those I didn't ask for it. Before he took the cover off, he told me that my heat exchanger was probably cracked and after, he took off the cover, he tried to sell the idea that it was cracked. I have since found out that there are no problems with my furnace. If there was a problem, my warranty would have covered the parts. Jamie said the labor would have been $1770. I found out that if I had problems, my labor would have been around $700, from some of the competition.
Description of Work: My air conditioner wasn't working and Columbus Worthington Air, was the first to respond and so I had them come out to check and fix my problem.

The deal I purchased through Angies List clearly indicates the service would include Cleaning gas burners, thermocouple, and Lubricating all moving parts. Yet, the technician told me that the only service is to read CO level, and check Gas Pressure. He told me that they never do Cleaning and never lubricate anything. Indeed, their technicians never carry any lubricating oil. I want my $ back, as it is not the same quality service I used to receive from other furnace tune-up providers (that always remove parts to clean them first, and always lubricate the motor). I am so disgusted with the technician and Worthington Air. You should never endorse this provider. Again, I want my money back! since the technician did not perform tasks according to the deal!

They had it priced out for us to pay over the course of a year, and we've already paid it off. The company was very thorough and explained the entire heating system and how to use the thermostat.

I called, the appointment was made, they called me 15 minutes before to let me know that they were on their way and they explained things to me.
Description of Work: Worthington Air does a semi-annual inspection in the Spring and Fall. They're coming back in October.

Just that I had them come to service both my A/C and my furnace and they did that and then they told me about some recommendations for when they thought they would need to replace for parts fixed and that was it.

Definitely would recommend CWA. We have them come out twice a year based on a maintenance plan we purchased with them as well to make sure our new system is always in tip top shape.
Description of Work: We needed a tune-up of our HVAC system and eventually a full out replacement (as it was as old as the house). It turned out to be very costly, but CWA did a great job explaining a few different options for a new HVAC system and the pros/cons of each. We went with the slightly more expensive (but NOT most) after back and forth discussions where our questions were always quickly answered. The installation took surprisingly no time at all (we didn't have any duct work replaced) and the explanation of our new system was very thorough.

I did not get my spring check-up. I got a phone call from them saying lets schedule your spring check-up. I forgot to call them back and they never called back. So I never got my spring check-up. I want to receive letters for my check-up and not phone call. They were very good.

I believe when we first used them I had bought a promo thing through Angie's List for them to come out I guess to do a repair on the air conditioner. The air conditioner stopped working and I was told that there was a special through you for them so that's when I decided to buy sort of a repair package hoping that they could repair but they came out and said that well the repair would be as much or more than just buying a unit and they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't break down within a year or so anyway and they ended up looking at the furnace too so we ended up buying a new furnace and air conditioner from them. They looked at the air conditioner and determined that it would have been too expensive to repair as opposed to buying a new one and then they checked our furnace too and they noticed that it was getting old so they recommended that we just buy a new air conditioning and furnace unit and that's what we did.

the provider indicated that the Freon was not low enough to do a charge, as I found out from the second provider I called, was not true. The provider that took care of us was "AIR SOURCE" - JASON HUNT DID A GREAT JOB AND OUR A/C IS BACK UP AND RUNNING. Jason charged the unit and it is doing much better. We probably have a pin hole leak which will be discovered within a few months, at which point we will have to consider other options. .

Called CWA for taking a look at air-conditioner that is not cooling well. After charging $84 for service call and another $60 for coolant refill, the technician said that system is fix and it started to cool the house again. He mentioned that the TXV valve is malfunctioning and he wrapped it and that fix should be good forever. However, next day the AC stopped cooling the house and the call to CWA customer support and the supervisor refused to send the technician to take a look without paying for another service call. Frustrated with how they dealt the issue. It is very unprofessional.

While the work was OK, I found them very expensive. I was charged $84 for a service call and $235 to replace a $20 capacitor. The whole thing took the service person about 10 minutes to do and looking at comparable rates, Columbus Worthington Air was about $60 to $75 more expensive. I don't think I will use them again on what is essentially a commoditized service.

From scheduling to payment I couldn't have had the least stressful repair. The window was 2-6pm, however the central office called in advance to let me know the tech was on his way, and then the tech also called me to let me know he was on his way ask. Very thoughtful!
Description of Work: At first we thought there was a coolant leak and a recharge, but it turned out to be the capacitor. Super friendly guy and very knowledgeable. I have an older unit so I am quite glad the worst case scenario didn't happen. The fix took probably 10 minutes with a new part and it comes with a 2 year warranty (on the part). He also gave me some recommendations on how to keep the AC unit running smooth. The Angie's Lost coupon was accepted and I recommend this company. Thumbs up.

Called to have air conditioner serviced - scheduled 29 pt maint inspection. Gave me a 4 HR. Window - but called 30 mins in advance. Jamie Thompson came out and was very professional. Not only did he check every thing but took the time to teach me how to clean my outdoor unit and program my thermostat. I was a prior customer but had not used them in a couple years due to moving. Very happy with service - I bought a service contract for an additional $40 that will cover having my furnace checked in October.

He said he found something faulty with my furnace so I had him fix it. He pulled the part and left it out, I called my home warranty company and the technician they sent out said there was nothing wrong with it. They put in back in and it has been working since. They did end up refunding the money I paid for the deal and the deductible from my warranty company.

We were approached at the Home Depot and was promised a $25 gift card to let this company assess our ac system on the following Tuesday (we were to be called when the tech was on their way) with no purchase necessary. Tuesday rolled around, no call...no call for 2 weeks. When a call finally came through, the phone agent was disrespectful stating he tried to call me 4 times in the past 2 weeks (no call was logged on my phone) stating that it must have been my fault for not answering. I told him to forget the Appointment and only wanted the gift card. He told me that he would have a tech out the next day and he would have a gift card sent out after the appointment. The tech shows up, does some sales attempts on my wife and leaves some quotes for me to review. Another 2 weeks later I get a phone call from the tech asking if we reviewed the prices he left. I told him we had the job done for half of the price by someone else and asked when my gift card should arrive. The tech told me they wouldn't send me the card and instead he offered $25 off the install ($25 out of $5000 is a whopping 0.5% off). He then tried to sell me once again, even though I stated that the unit was just replaced. Aggressive sales driven disrespectful techs are not welcome in my home!

While Anthony was a great worker and thoroughly explained the issue and was speedy with service (in and out in 30 minutes) it's very frustrating and infuriating to be charged $188 for a part that sells for $20 in hardware and HVAC stores. That was including the "20%" for signing up for their service plan. Overall, for 2 parts and a "service plan" I paid over $600 when I could have bought the pieces for $50 myself.
Description of Work: Replaced the capacitor and contractor on the outside condenser.
