What a great company! So efficient and friendly. Scheduled next day, tons of equipment, much better price than other quotes, and a perfect job.

Olivero gave me me a quote that detailed all of the work I wanted done to remove a tree that was in bad shape. Compared to other top recommended companies, the quote at Columbus Tree Service was far better. Today, Olivero's team of 5 men arrived with two utility trucks, a company pick up truck and a trailer with additional equipment. They used all of the modern equipment (cherry picker and claw) to remove a 70 foot tall Silver Maple. The men were extremely skilled in their work. They each used very safe practices and worked really well together. The stump and all roots were grinded up. Everything was hauled off, the street and sidewalk was swept up. No mess left behind at all. The entire crew was extremely courteous and professional. This company is insured. This is a great company. I strongly recommend this company.

They were scheduled to do this work later in the month, but completed a job at a neighbors early and was able to go ahead and do the tree work in my yard. The guys worked hard and did a great job... I will hire them again..

Oliverio and his crew did an excellent job removing a tall pine tree and grinding the stump. The crew worked carefully and safely, showed up on time, left the site clean, and were pleasant to deal with. We obtained three estimates, and Columbus Tree Services (licensed, bonded and insured) was the least expensive. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with Mr. Cerna! I called over the lunch hour to schedule an estimate. Because the job is large and complex, the office staff said the owner (Mr. Cerna) would call me directly to discuss. He did, and asked to come out the next day at 9 a.m. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He asked all the right questions, too. He wrote out the bid right on the spot, and presented me with copies of his insurance and bonding--the only company to do so! The bid was very reasonable, and significantly lower than the other bids we received. The ONLY reason we did not hire Columbus Tree Services is timing. They are booked out 3 weeks (as are most companies at this time). Due to a tight construction deadline, we chose to go with another company (at a greater cost) who can fit us in next week.

They came out and gave us a quote which was more than reasonable. They came out Monday afternoon and the trees, stumps and all traces were gone in a few hours.

I would highly recommend Columbus Tree Service. Oliverio, the owner, was great! He was professional, timely and his price was very competitive. He had a very good, hard working crew who not only did a great job, but cleaned up everything. All my neighbors wanted Oliverio's business card. I would definitely use this service again and would recommend to family and friends.

They are very professional. They clean up after themselves. If you have any questions, they will come back and answer them. If you are not satisfied, they will come back and redo a tree not a problem.

This provider came out, looked at the work to be done, and then complained about how much money he was losing being an Angie's List provider. Also, he said he would be losing jobs with other clients at a higher rate of pay if he completed the work for me. He said that if he did not come the next day to do the tree work, he would not do it at all. Not surprisingly, he did not return. When I contacted Angie's List, my money was returned in about two weeks.

After purchasing this service from Angie's List, provider showed up to view work and stated that he would not honor Angie's List price. He said that Angie's List would refund my money because the offer should not have been listed. He said that he could not perform tree service for that price and that AL was stealing from him. He would perform work only if we paid him the amount on his estimate he left. I told him that I would be giving him a bad review, and he said that he didn't care. I would not use this company and will be finding a new tree company to perform work. I have purchased numerous specials from Angie's List and have never encountered this problem . This makes me a little nervous about purchasing specials again that seem like great deals.

On March 2nd I purchased their Angie's List Deal for tree trimming. I didn't schedule anything right away but left a message for them when I purchased with instructions on what was to be done and asked if they need to meet me there. On March 7th, I had not received a response so I messaged them again letting them know that I hadn't received a response and again explained what was to be done and asked if I needed to meet them. The next day (March 8th), I received a poorly written response (no grammar, no capitalization, missing words) and the person was not sure what had happened but he/she wanted me to meet them. We agreed on a time a couple of days later. So, on that day I arrived at the property 15 minutes early and I waited until ten minutes past our agreed upon time and no one from Columbus Tree Service showed up. I then sent them another message, through Angie's List, letting them know that I've left and told them to not bother coming. Later in the day I received a message that they'll be there shortly and again I told them not to bother as I've already left. I apologized (unnecessarily) and added that "I don't have time for this." The response was "me too." That doesn't sound like a good way to run a business. I will be following up with Angie's List about canceling this "Deal" and obtaining a refund. Too bad I can't get a refund for the time that I lost.

We had three maple trees and one ash tree that were 25 years old or so. They needed to be thinned and trimmed because the sun could not get to our grass and the backyard was a mess. We took advantage of a $199 Angie's special (for $500 work) and the company owner trimmed all four trees for that price, which was way less than we expected. The owner came out on time and looked at the job and gave us the estimate . The day of the work, the next day, they called a little before they showed up (on time!) The trees now look much better (no leaves yet in February) and the guys were great to work with. He made sure we were happy with the amount of trimming while he was up in the tree. They did a great job of cleaning up afterward. We are very pleased with the people and the work. We also had two stumps that we wanted removed. The owner arranged for the stump guy to come out the same day - he was on time and did a great job with the two stumps for only $80. In summary, it was a much better experience than we expected, and even without the special, it was a very fair price. We would recommend them to anyone.

It went very well. They work pretty good. They clean fast and the job was done very well. The price was great and the tree was really large.

They did an excellent job. The guy answered all my questions and he was awesome. I am Spanish and he could answer all my questions well.

They were very prompt and came when they said they would be here. They were thorough and got through it all quickly. I am very happy with the work they did.
