+ -1 moreSteve took off the old paper and told us he didn't think there'd be damage to the drywall. He showed up on time and worked through the entire day w/o stopping for lunch, even though I asked him to take lunch. He meticulously removed all the old paste, and patched the drywall where there was some slight damage. He SAVED the drywall and kept us from a large and costly drywall replacement job.
Description of Work: I called Steve Vlasic, owner of Columbus Custom Wallcoverings to remove some old wallpaper in our family room. It had been falling off and we wanted it replaced and the walls prepped for painting. We also knew that the walls weren't properly prepared before the wallpaper was applied by the previous owner. We were afraid that the drywall was damaged and we'd have a huge project/cost to replace all the drywall in the family room.

+ -1 moreSTEVE VLASIC WAS EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE AND RESPONSIVE ON SHORT NOTICE. HE WAS ABLE TO ACT QUICKLY TO ASSIST WITH A MOVE-IN DEADLINE AND TO WORK AROUND OTHER CONTRACTORS.
Description of Work: REMOVAL OF WALLPAPER IN FOUR ROOMS, INCLUDING BATHROOM, BEDROOM, KITCHEN, AND DINING ROOM.
