Climate installed a HVAC unit which failed to work not long after the installation. They sent a tech out to check and see what the issue was and he diagnosed the issue to be a blown out AC condenser unit. Since the condenser was under warranty, they advised that they would pursue it and reinstall once obtained. It took a month to get a response that condenser was available for install. The technician came out to install and abandoned the process in less than 30 mins of being on site. I called the office and spoke to Jessica (admin) who stated that there was no use installing the AC condenser as it would fail again if we did not address the zoning system. This was the first time she had mentioned zoning systems & lied that this had been discussed. She then proceeded to tell me that Climate was dropping us as a client effective that day. We got the issue resolved by Worthington Air. The issues were with the installation and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the AC condenser unit.

The issue has not been resolved and today my house remains at 85 degrees. The parts were never ordered and the company was not responsive..... I started a warranty claim on July 17th. Today is the 28th and we still have no air conditioning. The company came out, indicated my refrigerant was 1 pound low and that they were not allowed to "top me off" that they needed to take the entire unit apart. They stated I need a new coil. On July 21, I was told the repair was approved and ordered. On July 27th with an house at 85 degrees, I called to check on the status of the part. I was informed the part was never ordered and that the repair was not covered and that I needed to pay $2,600 for the coil. I cannot get anyone at AHS that understands English to respond to me after spending 2 hours on hold yesterday. Today, I get an email that the claim is closed and complete along with a link to this survey.????? The service from AHS and Climate Heating an Cooling have been terrible. I just called another HVAC person to see what he would charge for a new coil. After sending him my model numbers and, I was quoted $1,100. It feels like I am being scammed by two entities at the same time.

I had a remarkably positive experience with Climate Heating and Cooling! They came out the day after I called, were professional and explained everything in great detail, and were overly kind about the fact my AC wasn't working because of my own negligence! Oops! They provided efficient service, cleaned up after themselves and arrived wearing masks. I appreciated the extra effort made and will be using them for all my future HVAC needs.

I recently had an extremely upsetting and very costly experience with their service done in the 3rd week of July (I forgot the exact date). The work was to replace my thermostat using my home warranty under American Home Shield (#510950652). They hired Climate Heating and Cooling to complete the job. We thought it was done correctly until AC stopped working last month. We hired Worthington Air to fix the issue, and they found out the following: 1) They replaced with the wrong thermostat. Mine is duel fuel system and the one they replaced is for single fuel only. I told them in advance that mine are for duel fuel. 2) Due to this, their technician could not get it working in the beginning after finishing the new thermostat installation. When he turned on the cooling, warm air came out. Instead of figuring out the root cause, he chose a total wrong way to make it work. Based on Worthington Air that we hired to fix the AC stopping working issue, Climate technician disconnected the heating, also set incorrect wiring to force AC to kick in when thermostat triggered the cooling signal. Though it worked for a while for AC, due to the mistakes, it caused circuit short and contactor damaged that led to AC stopping working in August. In addition, their technician disconnected heating, which is a totally cheating to the customers. Such mistakes led to loss of around $900. I email them through their website, and also sent letter to them hoping to get resolved, but no response at all. I may resort to small claim court later to get my money back

Fabulous service. Our air stopped working on one of the hottest days and our house was at 88 degrees. We got 4 quotes and Climate was not the cheapest but Ken was upfront as to why they cost more. Their air conditioning replacement includes two tests to make sure all the connections are properly sealed, a whole house humidifier (which my husband has wanted for awhile), and one year service contract. But the magical part for us is all the others who quoted said they could get us on the books in 10 days or 14 days and it is 95 degrees and humid outside and we were miserable.And they are installing a Nest Thermostat which I am excited about. Well, Ken is installing our system today, July 4th, so we do not have to suffer another night. They are so kind and respectful and I honestly will be recommending them to everyone I know. You get what you pay for and this company is WORTH every penny.

Current air conditioner stopped working after 12 years....could have repaired but cost to replace was comparable based on peace of mind. Great to work with....fast/very fast and great work!! Definitely recommend

I purchased the heating and cooling service package through Angie's list. I had picked days throughout the week to schedule our service. They emailed me back stating they had an opening on Saturday, which was even better! Ken and Jake were on time, polite, and done very quickly. Before leaving, they explained what they did and any concerns or suggestions they had. For me, it was an overall great experience.

It seemed to go okay. There was something wrong with my air conditioner at the time. They still haven't been able to figure out what was wrong with it, but it's at least cooling the house now. We had them do additional work, and they refilled the freon. One person came out to do the work, and it took probably less than an hour.

Initially, we had another company check out our air conditioner. They immediately attempted to sell us on a new air conditioner that would have cost $5,000 - 6,000, instead of giving us options. Unhappy with that service call, we got the name of Climate Heating and Cooling from a work friend, and Ken and Nick came our way...thank goodness! Ken was professional and honest, something I look for with any service call. I can tell that Climate Heating and Cooling is a business with integrity. Ken replaced a part and got our air conditioner working without having to replace it. I will not call anyone else for future heating and cooling needs. They get an A+ in our book!

Tech showed up on time the first time. I had other contractors at the house that had the water turned off. Tech needed the water so we rescheduled for the following Saturday. Tech got behind on his Friday work and was a no show on Saturday with no notification to us. Contacted later in the day by management and they came out and took care of the call the next day. Work was performed well but the lack of informing us about Saturday was problematic as we were on hold for the day waiting for someone who didn't show up. Hopefully this was an outlier for the company but for us it's one and done.

I initially contacted the company to set up an appointment 4 days after I purchased the deal. The man (Kenneth-owner?) I spoke with stated I would be contacted by their scheduling personnel. On the following Monday, I came home to their flyer in my door because they came by when I was at work. The scheduling personnel never called to make an appointment, so they just showed up. I called the company back and complained about that and he set me up with an appointment for the following Saturday for a two hour block and no one ever showed up or called me to say they weren't going to come. This is not a company I want to give my money to.

Definitely 5 star service. Ken came out to my home fixed the issue along with very helpful tips on maintenence on the AC unit as well as the furnace. Very professional, they definitely have a customer for life. Highly recommend using Climate Heating & Cooling.

Selling our house and part of the Purchase Contract included a mandatory HVAC servicing/tune-up. Found Climate Heating & Cooling on Angie's List and set up the appointment. Ken, the owner, communicated clearly right off the bat to confirm the appointment. He showed up on time, performed all of the work and more in a quick, but thorough manner, and explained every step of the process clearly. He also pointed out potential future issues to monitor as the system aged. Exceeded all expectations. Would highly recommend.
