He was on time and finished the job that evening. Quite expensive, but responded and came out the same day.

I was already using CJS for semi-annual maintenance when I learned that I needed to replace my A/C. The project manager, Joe, explained the options for my house, and I never felt pressured to buy the most expensive one. The installers arrived on time, were pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves. If I ever need another A/C or furnace, I'll definitely use CJS because of their excellent service. On another note, I appreciate that they always answer the phone! Any home owner knows how difficult it can be to actually talk to someone when you need work done on your house.

The consultation with Tony Durio prior to installation went very well, as did the installation by the CJS team. I recommend working with CJS if you need a new air conditioning and air filtration system installed. They provide top notch service, are knowledgeable, are willing and able to answer your questions about the air conditioning and air filtration systems, and exercise care when working in and around your house. We went with a 2 stage air conditioner for more effective cooling, dehumidifying, and energy savings. The cost was higher than a 1 stage air conditioner would have been, but I think we will be more satisfied with the 2 stage performance over time. We also selected CJS to install our new air conditioning and air filtration systems since they offered a much stronger labor and equipment warranty than the other HVAC companies with whom we discussed our air conditioning and air filtration needs.

Our AC went out a day before the 4th of July!! I called around to several places and they all were telling me that July 9 or 10 was the earliest they could come to our house. I called CJs and I loved their greeting which was "how can I make you smile today?". I explained the issue and and they were able to schedule us same day with an arrival window of 3 PM - 5 PM. Our technician showed up a little after 1:30! We were up and running with AC by 3 PM. It turned out that we only needed a capacitor. The technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. I also loved that I received a text to let me know that the tech was on their way. For me, that is sometimes better than a phone call that I could miss. Overall, very pleased! I will be using them again in the future!!

They cancelled my appointment, so I’m still waiting. They set up a time again and everything went great!

Air Conditioner was not working on Saturday and they came out on Sunday and got it working. Found the issue and came up with a temporary solution to get it working until they could make the solution permanent. The service tech was very professional and came up with a great solution to fix temporarily until could get the right part.

Great! Very responsive on a weekend; I bought their ongoing service plan which I NEVER do because I liked them so much and wanted to avoid future issues.

I sought a few different quotes for my new AC unit, and although they were not the cheapest quote, they were able to install immediately and offered some nice financing options. The immediate install was much appreciated when you are sitting in 90+ degree temp, and the other providers were not able to get to me for 7 days out.

CJS staff were professional and available for service the day I called. Everyone on their staff, from the consultation, to arrangements for where to place the unit and how to ventilate properly, to installation, to setting up a follow-up inspection were helpful and professional. It was great to work with them.

Learned a lot and actually enjoyed the experiance

I was very impressed with CJS from the start. When my 20-year-old furnace stopped working, one of their technicians (Antonio) came out to try to service it. He was excellent: knowledgable, professional, and trustworthy. He explained what he was doing as he worked (I like to know how things function and see what's wrong), and I never felt like he was being condescending or wasn't being honest with me. Then, when the repair to my furnace was more than I was willing to spend on a unit of its age, Joe came out to give me estimates on replacing my home's HVAC system. I was super impressed with him. He brought all kinds of informational literature for me to review--about different manufacturers, models, features, and systems. He also brought physical pieces of equipment for me to handle, so that I could visually see and physically feel the quality of the parts they used. He took the time to evaluate my house--measuring the dimensions of my upstairs and downstairs, mapping my existing ductwork, calculating the volume of air that my current HVAC moved, etc. He then put together a series of different packages and worked with me to get both a system that met the needs of my house and also a price that met the needs of my budget. I had multiple estimates from a handful of A-rated HVAC companies here on Angie's List, and the quote from CJS was very competitive. Furthermore, their process was far-and-away above the rest: the attention to detail, the helpful information, the options on packages/systems/features. CJS lent me a couple of excellent space heaters to help keep my house warm until my new furnace was installed. Tim and Steve were my installers--and they were equally great: punctual, professional, and tidy. It was a rainy, miserable day when they came and even though they were in and out of my house (including my muddy backyard to hook up the AC unit), they were very neat. They did not leave a mess for me to clean up when they left. Furthermore, they arrived on time and completed the work very close to the projected estimate. Finally, they sat down with me before they left to go over my new unit, show me how my new thermostat worked, and answer any questions that I had. They were not in a big rush to get out the door. They were also friendly, kind, and professional guys. Later that night, when I noticed a damp spot on my basement floor and was worried that something was leaking, Joe came over after hours (and in torrential rain) to look at it. He was here less than an hour after I texted him. (The damp spot was some oil that had leaked out from the old unit. . . it cleaned up with little more than soap and hot water) In short, this was a really positive experience, from start to finish. Replacing the HVAC system in your home is a big expense and major decision. I highly recommend CJS.

From start to finish CSJ's customer service outshined any in-home service I could recall. The schedulers in the office were friendly and polite. Tony, the project lead came out to the house and he was on it! He did a walkthrough--inside and outside--our home. He gave us three estimates: high, medium, and low. The pro's & con's of each estimate was shared. NO HIGH PRESSURE TO BUY!. Once a date and time were agreed upon, the CJS team arrived on time. Just like Jim, and Tony before, each were in sharp uniforms and put on boot covers before walking through the house. Tim, "Stevo," and Noel were fast. The old furnace and the old AC unit were carted away. You would be hard pressed to see that any work was done because of their super clean up. I happened to see the inside of their truck. I have never seen a work truck so neat and clean as that one. Every tool and part was in its place. Super neat, just like they left our house when they were through. Finally, CJS gave us a seamless, smooth, courteous customer experience. We didn't have to worry about building permits. CJS took care of it for us. We didn't have to worry about the City of Columbus' building inpsector rejecting the work done because CJS had its own in-house inspector. Andy was super too; very thorough. He made sure the install met Columbus city code. In fact, he had another crew come back and fix an issue that was barely dectable to an untrained eye and may have been over looked by some city inpsectors, but could have cost us money when we decide to sell our house. So if you want peace of mind with your HVAC needs, definitely give CJS serious consideration.

Absolutely fantastic service! Loved everyone I talked to and they were definitely knowledgeable about what they do. However, there was a major drawback in that they are insanely more expensive than anyone else that followed after them. If these guys can bring their prices down, they will be the best in the business. Until then, they are the Rolls Royce of Heating & A/C

Very well. Not the lowest price available but still competitive pricing and very high quality products and work. Using this company gave me peace of mind.

The inspection was free, but the repair work was $152. The communication is great. The scheduling is great. The long time service is great. The fact that there is a monthly cost is reasonable.

Very well. They actually called and caked earlier than expected. The repair man was courteous and professional. He answered all our questions, and worked effectively.

A/C started working. But has issue again after 1 year.
