Swiss Heating & Air was fine. They did what they were going to do, called when they said they were going to call and they came out when they said they were going to come out.

I was very happy with their work. Have a service contract with then, and I am very happy with the work.

Swiss Air contacted me the same day and I was able to set up an appointment for the same day. The person came out as scheduled and performed the inspection. He took time to explain what he was doing and listen to my concerns. I was impressed that even though the furnace is 27 years old, he did not try to pressure me into purchasing a new unit. He said my unit was working good and as long as I had no problems, I should continue to use it.

It got a clean bill of health. This service is included free when you join their Service Club. It's $19.95 a month to join, but it could be worth it. You also get discounts on repair prices when you are a member of the Swiss Air Service Club. We have some expensive repairs that will need done to our air conditioning system in the spring, so I did the math and joining the Service Club is worth it for us. We have used Swiss Air a couple of other times too. They are easy to contact, and set up an appointment even late at night and weekends. The first time we used them was when our furnace shut down during a very cold weekend a couple of years ago. We were able to contact them late on Saturday, and they came out to our house on Sunday morning and got our heat going again. I have not been disappointed with their service and professionalism. I love the fact that I can count on them being available during any heating and cooling emergency.

The service tech was great on a long and busy night for him and was a lifesaver for our family. We have a monthly plan with Swiss Air so most all work was covered, this included the after hours service call and parts. If we would have not had the plan it would have been over $1000. We have them out yearly to check our AC and furnace and I often recommend Swiss Air to friends.

They worked with my schedule and notified me when they were on their way and showed up as I was told. Used shoe covers and went out of his way to figure out my furnaces problem and didnt try to sell me a new one despite mine being 18 yrs old. He showed me how to most efficiently use my programmable thermostat and heat pump settings. I couldnt have been more pleased since I was a lady home by myself and was treated with respect and didnt feel talked down to or like i was having on pulled over on me.

During the past two winters I had no difficulty with the furnace; however, this winter, especially a week ago, I noticed little heat with little force was coming from the heating registers. I called Swiss H/A and they responded quickly. It turned out that the furnace, when installed, was using the "factory-installed" settings for gas consumption and fan speed....both on the lowest settings. Although those settings worked well for the past two winters (very mild winters), the settings were too low for this winter. The technician reset the furnace functions to handle the present cold temperatures and I noticed an improvement within a few hours.

We first used Swiss Air for some kind of help with installing a whole-house generator. (My husband coordinated all of that work.) However, what stands out in my mind was that their prices were so much less expensive than our previous provider that we switched to them for our annual maintenance of both a/c and furnace. It made the other provider look like a rip-off artist in comparison.

Arrived on the day they said. In and out in one day. Very good service. My wife had a friend that is a single woman that was having HVAC issues. One company said you need a complete system. My wife told her to call Swiss Air. They came out and fixed the issue for @$189.00. |A very good company.

The tech did a great job. On-time (as usual), polite and thorough. We have a service contract since we purchased our new heat pump from Swiss Air so there was no charge for the check-up. I would highly recommended Swiss Air.

Prompt. Great at communication. The technicians always educate us. No high pressure for sales or upgrades.

As usual the technician was on time and performed the maintenance work quickly and efficiently.

I awoke early on 01/31/14 to discover my furnace was not working and my house was not getting heat. I called Swiss Heat & Air when they opened at 7:30 a.m. The lady who answered the phone took my information and told me that someone would be at my house between 10 a.m. and noon that same day. I received a call at 9:30 a.m. and a repairman arrived just before 10 a.m. He was very cordial and professional. He spent about an hour tuning and cleaning the system, trying to determine why the furnace was not taking in air, as that was the code he was getting. When he checked the intake pipe, which was located outdoors, he discovered that a plastic grocery bag had blown into my yard and had been sucked into the pipe. As soon as he pulled the bag out, the furnace started working normally again. Jim could have charged me for cleaning and tuning the furnace, but since the malfunction was not related to that, he dropped the charges (his decision) and only charged me for the cost of the diagnostic visit, less my angie's list coupon.

The technician was prompt and courteous. He made our furnace much more efficient. Our house feels warmer at a lower temperature setting. We were very satisfied and wish we would have had them out sooner.

We noticed water on the basement floor originating from under the furnace. We called Swiss Heating since they had put the furnace etc. in several years earlier. We got a fast response. The problem was an easy fix--a loose drain hose. Joe also suggested that he cut out a piece of the air intake pipe and replace it with a section that could be easily removed in case debris happened to get down the pipe from outside. He did that and also performed a routine inspection. He mentioned that there might be an Angie's List coupon (Amazingly, I hadn't thought of this myself). When he was finished, the fee he was about to charge seemed excessive to me, especially since I had just bought the online coupon. He was using some standard pricing sheet that I thought didn't quite fit the situation. So, we discussed it. In the end he charged me only the $69 value of the coupon. I thought that was more than fair. I will definitely call them again.
