A technician came and spent a couple of seconds to tell me that the fuse was bad and when I ask if he could change the fuse for me to go on further diagnose, he told me that I would need to pay him at least $300 to put the fuse in. He then refused to do any further diagnose and told me that I could purchase fuse and replace it myself and call for another service ($89 service call) if it did not resolve the problem. Not surprised when I put in the new fuse a couple days later (I had to order it from Amazon as neither Lowes nor HomeDepot carries the fuse), it burned out again. At this time, I decided to call another company for service. Basically, I paid for $69 for a service call and received nothing. I would not use CJS again.

My furnace stopped working on 12/21/2020. I called CSJ and they sent out someone in the afternoon. The technician said the gas valve needed to be changed and gave me a $870 quote. I googled it and learned that the average cost should be $200 to $600. Then I hired another technician to do the job. It turned out it's just wiring issue and I only paid $120 to the other technician. I was charged $69 for the wrong diagnosis by CSJ. I called them to discuss the issue but never receive a call back. I hired them initially because of the good review on angieslist. But they are not very good with their stuff and also over charge.

CJS was very thorough and informative about the inspection process and the tests performed. I would highly recommend CJS.

Very well - I wouldn't keep paying $15 a month if they weren't doing a good job!

Andrew came out and diagnosed the problem right away. He was prompt, courteous and very professional - going over various options to provide the best value for my unique situation. He was undeterred by the challenges of servicing a 100 year old house.

I play a yearly service fee to get my heat and AC checked out, twice a year. It's awesome. The techs are always great.

It went very well. The technician, Chuda, was outstanding. He was professional, friendly, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He explained every testing step on a level that I understood what he was doing. He made excellent suggestions on how to care for my furnace and how often to change the filters. Chuda practiced good COVID-19 procedures. He wore a mask the entire time. Overall, I am pleased with Chuda's outstanding customer service. He represented his employer, CJS Heating, very well. Technician arrived on time and performed requested service but: He wanted to drill holes in PVC and ductwork to measure combustion analysis of the furnace. We had a lengthy discussion about the need to drill holes because I was not convinced this was necessary. Previous furnace tune-ups with other companies didn't require this but they were able to conduct this test. This technician was vague about whether his company's technicians all perform this test the same way and whether this is specifically how he was trained to do this test. I allowed two holes in ductwork but not in PVC pipes. I expected to see an inspection checklist detailing the service and findings. Instead he wrote a summary paragraph which makes it difficult to review the work done. He explained this is how they document their work. Other HVAC providers use an easy to review checklist. Also the technician did not clean the outdoor AC unit which is normally done with an AC tune up. I am also not a fan of hard sales pitches which I had to listen to when I was trying to schedule this service. They require payment in advance and automatically sign you up for an annual service plan. I declined the annual service plan but was told I'd still receive the automatic notification of the annual plan. I will not likely use this company again.

Everything went as expected. Mike, the tech, allowed me to ask him a ton of questions. I wanted to know how to swap out my MicroPower Guard air filter. Mike not only explained the process but also let me actually do the change-out as well. And this was after he already had done it. You got to appreciate a company and a service person who does this.

It was the most thorough furnace inspection that I have ever had.

Mike arrived during the stated window of time. He completed the work efficiently. He worn foot coverings and a mask out of respect for the consumer .

Terrific, as always. Clear, patient when explaining things, and helpful. Whenever we’ve had issues with our 28 year old furnace, they’ve helped us get a good extra 4-5 years of life out of it without breaking the bank

Chuda arrived exactly on time. He followed company standards regarding PPE and shoe coverings. He was respectful and friendly. He was able to troubleshoot the issue and provide different solutions and pricing. Overall a great experience and will be using the company again for future needs.

Same day service. The guy was within his window of arrival. He was polite. The problem was fixed. No complaints about the company or the tech. So they get an A. The industry... it always bothers me that it costs so much to put in a cheap part. I do understand cost of labor and carrying costs, but ouch!

The technician, Angela, was outstanding! She showed up on time, with the appropriate anti-Covid protective gear. She performed the required AC service checks and maintenance. She found a hot water leak, in addition, and then called the manufacturer for warranty info for me. She went above and beyond.

Great only took a few minutes including clean up. Jamison was great explained everything.
