Technician was very professional and friendly. He was here quite a while so appears it was a thorough job.

They did a great job! Two technicians came out and worked (no breaks or lunches) all day till it was complete.

received estimate for new gas furnace install (previously had oil furnace). estimate was 15% higher than others I had received and I chose another highly rated contractor to complete the work.

The job went like clockwork! The first 3 workers arrived by 8:15am, and got to work immediately. By 10am, there were 2 more guys working on various aspects of the project! By 4:30pm, everything was install, the old system removed, and the place very clean. The installers worked as a well-oiled machine. Each had a specific specialty, and they went about it professionally. This team approach was interesting to observe. The appeared to truly enjoy their work, as well as enjoy each other. There was no bickering or off-color language. Each one of them was respectful of our home, spreading out protective plastic over our carpets and not putting a single ding in the walls leading down to the basement. The finished job look immaculate. Excellent tin cutting, neatly cemented piping, Level furnace and outside air conditioning unit. This unit comes with a wi-fi thermostat which one of the fellows set up so that I only had to download the app for my cell phone. As they had done upon arrival, each one approached us and thanked us for letting them serve us as they left at the end of the day. It is a pleasure to recommend SwissAIR. We will continue to maintain a service contract with them. We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience!

On Monday the 25th I reviewed many options and read reviews on different companies on your lists. I called Swiss Air and explained the problem with the old furnace. A technician came out the next day and was very knowledgeable and polite and helpful. He was not sure that cleaning the parts would solve the problem which was delayed ignition. But he tried and demonstrated that it did not work. He talked to my husband at length and we agreed to see a sales rep. who came out shortly after he left. We listened and my husband selected the new equipment we wanted. The installers came around 7:30 a.m. the next day and again were very polite, friendly and hard working. They are excellent workers. They of course had to take out the old furnace and AC and by 7:30 p.m. they had finished the job and cleaned up after themselves. They are amazing. We recommend this company to everyone.

He said he checked all the dampers and verified they were open. He then told me the it was a problem with the air return, and made some analogy about drinking a sucking through a really thin straw. He said that when he pulled the air filter out of the furnace, he could hear the motor working less. He said that all the homes in my neighborhood have poorly designed ductwork, and that he recommended cutting a hole in the ductwork in the basement and adding an additional air return. He used the term "Return air wrap". This is evidently not an industry standard term, because google searching it returns nothing. I posted on reddit here asking an online hvac community for their thoughts: https://www.reddit.com/r/HVAC/comments/3xu9j2/whats_the_official_stance_on_additional_cold_air/ So,Swiss Air recommended that to get warm air into this upstairs bedroom, they would add a "return air wrap" in the basement, and that it would cost $636.00 By the way, I paid $89 for the Swiss Air to come out and tell me this. None of this seemed right to me, so I called Buckeye Heating and Cooling for a second opinion, using a $68 diagnostic coupon through Angie's List. They sent a guy out who immediately identified a damper that was completely shut. He opened it, and lo and behold, we had heat in the bedroom. Really glad I didn't act on Swiss Air's recommendation. Not sure if they were trying to sell me unnecessary service, or if the tech was incompetent, or just an oversight. I'm leaning toward incompetent tech.

Perfectly. We are very happy with Swiss Air and our decision to purchase a service contract with them, top notch service late night on a holiday was going above and beyond our expectations. Zach was very professional, thorough, and explained everything he checked with the unit. He had a few ideas about the cause of the problem and he investigated all of them before ordering any expensive parts. It turned out that it was something that could be solved that night without parts.

Swiss Air has always done a very good job. I have been a member of their service membership club for 2 years now. The staff and technicians are always friendly and great. I wanted to take the opportunity to write a review this time around because the technician (Zach) was so fantastic. He was on time, very polite, extremely knowledgeable, and even took the time to chat with me about the addition of home humidification systems. I didn't realize they could be transferred from furnace to furnace and how easy the maintenance was for this type of product. I will absolutely be calling them back to schedule installation of a whole home humidifier. The only area of ambiguity was that after coming here to review the service, i found that they are offering a special on these products right now for less than the price he quoted. That being said, I have no qualms with his quote, or integrity. My guess is he had no idea whether or not I was a angies list member and quoted me the full price. I only point this out in case anyone else is looking for the whole home humidification system this month because the angies list special is a fantastic deal! (over $100 off). I would 100% recommend this company and their services.

It was fine. There were no extra charges. The workers were professional. They left the area clean. They could probably fix it right the first time. They had to come out a second time.

The way that everything went down l have to believe that the company was try trying to rip me off. Stay clear of this. Company they are glorified con men.7

Sales person was prompt and seemed to know his stuff, but the expectation when someone comes out to provide a quote is to actually leave a detailed quote for the systems discussed. Instead we were left with a quote sheet that listed the items, but had no prices. Cost was discussed at length, but only written down as a total. He then took the numbers with him leaving us with no pricing whatsoever. He also didn't allow us to keep any brochures, citing that he wasn't allowed to do so. He did let me take a picture of a page from the brochure, but even this was done reluctantly. Two days after the visit, I emailed the sales person and let him know that, considering the expense, we thought it best to get another quote. He emailed us back dropping the pricing by 20%, and attached a quote sheet, which now included a price for each system. To justify the price drop we were told he had been quoting us "book prices" with no discounts, and that's why he didn't leave us pricing (note, unprompted, he admitted he left no pricing). Obviously this makes no sense, not to mention discounts were discussed at length and it was clear the pricing included all rebates, discounts, etc. I called this out to the sales person via email and didn't receive a reply. To be fair, I ended the email letting them know I'd not purchase a new system from them at any price after the experience. There were other "turn offs" but this captures the gist of it. For comparison we used Fire & Ice for the second quote. They provided detailed quotes for 5 systems and left us with brochures of every system discussed during the appointment. We purchased our system from them and will have it installed this week.

It was fine. They came out and checked it out. No complaints, very professional and they did what they needed to do. They found some things wrong and we got a second opinion and then a third opinion and then made the decision to get the entire unit replaced. There was nothing bad about it. They were on time and friendly. I didn't have any complaints at all.

Andy was very respectful regarding all of my questions. He explained everything in detail. I had another company come out to my home Air Source Heating and Cooling in Hilliard and was given false information regarding my furnace. I wanted to get a honest, punctual, respectful technician and I was fortunate enough that I received Andy. Andy is the reason I will call back Swiss Heating and Cooling.

My elderly mother had the 23-year old 92% efficient Trane gas furnace in her home fail. Swiss Air first replaced a defective circuit board on a Friday, but the furnace stopped working within hours. Their head technician came to her home on Saturday and found that the condensing coils had caused corrosion throughout the furnace and would damage the new circuit board - which they refunded. Due to the water collecting under the vacuum area in the furnace, the furnace was unable to form a vacuum needed to start heating. Swiss Air's Director of Operations came to my mom's home during an OSU Football Game and we decided on a 97% efficient Carrier gas furnace and a more efficient central air conditioner. Everything was completed on the following Tuesday. We were extremely pleased that they sacrificed their Saturday to ensure that my mom had heat as soon as possible and we're delighted with the new furnace and central A/C - it's not only more efficient, but is extremely quiet as well.

Found broken compressor that previous inspection did not find (2 months prior). Repairs were made under home warranty. Well worth the price and easy to work with.

We got estimates from Swiss Air and another Angie's List highly rated company that contacted us right away after I contacted them through their website. The Swiss Air estimate was a little lower and we were able to get an upgraded filter and a humidifier within our budget :) The workers were polite and clean. They answered all our questions. We were very pleased.

It went very well. The sales rep, Joe, was knowledgeable and, equally important, responsive to questions as we pursued the project. There was no pressure to accept the quote. The work itself was done professionally, with attention to detail. There was just one glitch: one of the return vents was not connected. Embarrassing but not a big deal. They came back promptly and connected it. We got considerably more for the money than with the other quotes, most of which came in for about the same cost. This included Temp Star equipment, which is well-regarded; 10 year no-hassle replacement warranty in the event a major repair is required; UV germicidal lamp; condensate pump; return vents in each room (rather than one for the whole house); and more.

My air conditioning hadn't been working for about a week. Swiss Air came out and quickly found the problem. They set me up on an annual maintenance plan.

Everything went extremely well. My wife informed me around 3PM that the AC was not working properly. I came home and took a look at everything and called Swiss Air around 530PM. Wayne was at my house before 6PM and the unit was up and working before 7PM. I googled the part after they left and in retrospect the labor charge was relatively high compared to the part cost, but at the end of the day we are two cool happy campers and would definitely use Swiss Air again!

It was alright. I couldn't get anything through them because it was more expensive than we were willing to deal with. Our system was gone anyway. I eventually had to buy a new system. I don't know if I will use them again.

I read a lot before replacing my old, worn out system. The biggest conclusions I reached were: (1) The installer matters much more than the manufacturer, and (2) an improperly sized unit can cause lots of problems. Joe from Swiss Air came out to provide a quote on a new heat pump system. Unlike the other highly-rated companies who visited, Joe conducted a load calculation to determine the best sized unit for my home. Unlike the competitors, he recommended a 3 ton unit to replace the old 4 ton unit. This saved me money up front, saves wear and tear on the system, and should result in a less humid home than an oversized unit would. (Hopefully, the smaller heat pump will also be able to keep up with the heat needs in the winter). This, along with Joe's patient approach and attention to detail, gave me confidence in the company. We exchanged a dozen or more emails over a two week period while I was shopping. The price was a little higher than the other quotes (maybe 5%), and Swiss Air's package included some add-ons, like a 5 inch media filter, a humidifier, and a year's service plan. They also have - by far - the best warranties and guarantees I came across. Given that but Carrier is a premium brand and I was most confident with Swiss Air, I went with them. On install day, the crew arrived a few minutes later than we'd agreed, but that's literally my only complaint. They were real pros - polite, neat, quiet, and competent. (I think one of the guys was a smoker, but there were no butts left lying around anywhere. Which is different than many tradesmen I've been around.) The work took the whole day, but I was thrilled with how professional everything was -- joints sealed, wires zip-tied, and drain tubes screwed down. Right as everyone was packing up, the system showed an error message (probably due to someone bumping the breaker when closing things up), so the guys had to stand around for about a half hour to make sure the error was addressed. Even though it was after 5:00 on Friday, there wasn't a hint of a complaint. After a week, the system has been great. In challenging conditions (mild temps but high humidity), it's kept the house within a couple degrees of the target temperature and humidity under 50%. I will edit this review if the system falls short during heating season, but for now, I highly recommend Swiss Air.

I'm a little frustrated that it took them three visits to determine what the problem was, with me having to pay each time. When they tuned-up the unit, they should have noticed the issues. When they came to fix the unit, why was there still an issue that requried them to come-out yet again. To me, a little ironic since the sign on the truck says "fixed right or it's free".

Very well, all items were completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.
