Everyone, from the person who answered the phone, to the service techs to the sales representative, are very friendly and professional. The service techs installing the a/c and furnace were very courteous and conscientious about clean up.

One of our two air conditioning units stopped working. We called CJS and they sent a man who explained he had never been to trade school, and that he received all of his training "on the job". He pried the wires out of our $175 Honeywell touch screen/wifi thermostat, snapping all the contacts and leaving it totally unusable. He then went outside and repaired the problem (he said something about a mouse nest). Unfortunately, he knew he had broken the Honeywell touchscreen thermostat, and then charged us almost $200 for Honeywell FocusPro ($41 on amazon.com). When he started to leave he attempted to take the expensive thermostat with him. So it cost $260, plus and additional $175 to fix our AC, when the actual cost should have been around $60. Worse yet, I phoned this company 3 separate time to discuss this issue, and 3 times they promised to call me back with a solution. Of course, nobody ever returned my calls. Fast forward to 3 months later and the AC unit does not work again. Avoid this company.

I had originally been with Swiss Air.

Our A/C stopped working on Friday. Called CJS (formerly Swiss Air) and they sent someone the next day to take a look. The repair person opened the A/C and after 10 or so minutes admitted he didn't know what the issue was — which is good. I'd rather someone admit they were stumped than try to make something work. On Monday, they sent a repair tech with 27 year of experience. The problem got diagnosed and the right parts were ordered. The very next day, they were back (the experienced tech and a trainee) and the parts were installed. Not only did you install the bad parts replaced, but they measured the output of the A/C to make sure everything was working. As it turned out, all was not well. They added some refrigerant, ran some more tests and now my A/C is working like new. Both the senior person (Jim) and his trainee were super nice. I had questions (e.g. why do you wire things in that order?) and instead of a superficial answer I got a real, honest, repair-tech related answer. So not only was my A/C fixed, I got to meet a couple of nice guys and learned a thing or two about A/C repair.

Went well. Arrived on time and only took a hour to complete the work.

I felt very comfortable with the tech. I'm the kind of guy that likes "to look over the shoulder" to see how the pros fix things. I appreciate the fact that our tech didn't mind. Was able to use an Angie's List coupon which was great. However, after the fact, I priced check the new stat that was the cause of the problem. I paid close to three times the cost of a similar stat at one of the big box stores. I called the manufacturer and found out the stat that was installed in our home was the "pro" model and can be used in various types of HVAC situations as opposed to one (as was our case). Other than that, there was no other difference. I read more on line about the stat. IMHO, it appears that stat our pro used was for the convenience of the tech's company. Why? I suspect that instead of carrying 4 or 5 different stats for different types of HVAC situations, they could only carry one. Buyer's remorse? Yes, but at least I know I have the right stat for our home situation and I don't have to worry if I missed something that was less obvious, but important.

Everything went great. Every call for help was no hassle and they sent a tech the same day. First tech was nice and we thought we had the problem fixed with the breaker. 2 weeks later it happened again so the second tech finally found out it was the compressor going bad. Installers for he new unit were great and worked in pouring rain. About 4" of rain had developed around the unit. They had to stop and finish the next AM which was fine. They also discovered the electric line into the house was shorted and had burned. Scary stuff! It was behind a huge rose bush so no one had noticed. I give them a lot of points for working in a downpour and bleeding from rose bush thorns!

I couldn't say more about the great experience I had with this company. Before I called them, I had another company come out to give me an estimate and their tech was not a people person and looked annoyed that he was here. I called this company and from the time I called them to book an estimate to the time they were done with the work, I had absolutely NO complaints, but only good things to say about them. My wife and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! The Secretary booking the meeting was very polite, the tech who came out to give me an estimate was very knowledgeable and friendly and the two techs who worked on the install were clean, professional, and knowledgeable. Before work started, the tech confirmed everything they were going to do beforehand on paper and then showed me how they were going to do it. They laid down floor mats, wall protectors, etc. and after the job was completed, they took the time to sit with us to help answer any lingering questions we have about our new system and how to operate it. They even matched the price quoted to me by another company that was cheaper. I could not be more satisfied with this company. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE SHOPPING FOR HVAC.

We are provided with a checklist of items that were inspected, recommendations and the techs are always willing to answer questions. Highly recommendation for A/C and Heating needs.

Extremely professional service, went above and beyond to show me how to clean my outside unit and gave me tips on how to be more efficient on cooling my home.

Chris came by to service my AC. He was OUTSTANDING! Besides being punctual, he was careful and thorough about the work that he did. I've been doing business with Swiss Air, now CJS for many years and once again, was not disappointed. I will continue using this service.

been with company a few years with no issues. last two years have been iffy. the spring tune up was not done properly. Was suppose to clean ac unit. Never performed duties wrote on notes it was done. Was told I was low on refrigerant charged 200 for it only to get second option to find refrigerant levels were over filled causing unit to not work properly. I used to be a member but have not been satisfied over last two years. also the thermostat that was installed was installed not straight had him take it off to reinstall

What a great company! I called about my outside a/c unit not working properly and they sent someone out that very evening. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem and within 30 minutes it was back up and running. So easy and I appreciate it so much.

It went well. I especially liked that they sent the person who did the furnace tune-up in the fall, so he was familiar with my system. He was prompt, professional, polite and thorough. Their name has changed, but the service is still excellent. I will use them again.

Wonderful. Serviceman provided very helpful advice for simple tasks to improve performance throughout the summer.

Everything was fine. I started to use them last year when my previous air conditioner provider spent more time trying to sell me things that I didn't want versus doing the work I hired them for (plumbing, etc.). Swiss Air has been very honest and upfront from the 1st appointment last year and I have had them come out for the furnace and air conditioner maintenance.

Service was great! I've been using this company for years.

Purchased a seasonal service plan on my A/C unit. Was told that it needed at least three pounds of refrigerant at a cost of $199 per pound. Got a second opinion and the cost per pound of refrigerant was over 200% less than their quote. Guy who did the second opinion said he was shocked by the quote and thought Swiss Air had a better reputation.

Went very well. The technician diagnosed the problem and solved it quickly.

They would not come out because I live on the 9th floor and they do not work on multi floored buildings.

Very well, my old unit was difficult to remove but they stuck to estimate and put very hard full day in to complete the project. The furnace has performed to the high standard described by the salesman and maintains home temperature to within 1 degree F of the set temperature.

I have a service contract that includes two contracts a year, two seasonal contracts.

Great! Technician clearly explained what needed to happen to me despite my general ignorance of such things.
