He quoted me $3900.00 for the same job another Angie's Provider quoted me $1500.00 for. He lowered the price $200.00 two times. There was no name or address on the quote. He was too high.

Chris was great-excellent communication. Work was spot on and so much, so I had him do my companies drive also.

He had a guy that looked like Mr. Clean with him. He wrote very little out for the estimate. I asked when he could start and how long it would take, and he said it would be 2-3 weeks. I then said you are not the only contractor to come out and we're getting estimates from other contractors. He called me the next day and asked if I made a decision. He then called back the next day and said if we let him have the job they would take $400 off the job. He had the second highest quote.

It was excellent. He was very accommodating, very informative. He was patient in explaining. The price was excellent. He did the work when he said he would. The work turned out to be an excellent job.

Chris is a very nice guy. However, the estimate he gave me was thousands more expensive than 2 other companies. He quoted me $4200 to tear out and remove 700 sq. ft of concrete. The other estimates were $1500 and $2400. Note: I am female, and I was the only person home when Chris Ruh came. My sister's boyfriend was here for the other (cheaper) estimates. I'm not saying Chris quoted me higher because I'm female, but it just makes me wonder.

Excellent company. I had the misfortune of initially dealing with a poor contractor who did a horrible job in replacing three flights of steps. I contacted Chris Ruh and he was very helpful in honestly assessing the situation as well as helping me decide if it was best to try to repair the initial contractor's shoddy work or to start over. Work was performed in a very timely fashion and Chris took pains to make sure that I was happy with the job and performed first class work. I felt that price was very fair for work performed.

Chris is a very friendly and congenial person who did exactly what I ask plus. His people were very careful not to damage surrounding lawn or other property. The removal and subsequent pouring and finishing of the concrete was very professional done. Chris personally supervised the work. All debris was removed and the disturbed edge along the drive way filled with top soil and planted with grass seed. Both Chris and his people were friendly and polite and answered any questions we had about the work. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was quite pleased not only with the work but also with Chris's responsiveness and promptness. I would recommend him to others. Concrete work is not inexpensive, and their price was quite competitive.

CHRIS RUH & CREW RETURNED PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY AND WERE ABLE TO PERFORM WORK IMMEDIATELY. HE WAS A PERFECTIONIST WITH EVERYTHING START TO FINISH. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH CHRIS OR HIS CREW OR THEIR WORK! HE WILL GET MORE BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE FROM ME!

THEY WERE EXTREMELY WONDERFUL. HE CAME OUT IN PERSON AND DID THE JOB RIGHT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE ELSE.

CHRIS CALLED ME BACK WITHIN 30 MINUTES AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR ESTIMATE. HE ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY. HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL. HIS CREW WAS THE SAME. CHRIS WAS SUPERVISING THE JOB THE WHOLE DAY. WHAT SURPRISED ME WAS HE DID THE WHOLE JOB IN ONE DAY! CAME BACK AND REMOVED MATERIALS THE NEXT DAY, AND MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS TO MY SATISFACTION. I TOLD HIM TO ADD ME TO HIS REFERENCE LIST.

DAY I CALLED WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF OUR HOUSE, SO HE CAME UP 8/23/05 WAS GOING TO START ON MONDAY 8/29, BUT THE RAIN HELD UP THE WORK. WORK PERFORMED ON 9/1/05. TOLD ANSWERING PERSON I BELONGED TO ANGIE'S LIST. HIS PRICE WAS $2970, BUT ASKED HOW I GOT HIS NAME. HE TOOK OFF $70, BECAUSE OF ANGIE'S LIST.

CHRIS RUH RETURNED MY CALL AND WAS AT OUR HOME IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. HE DETERMINED THAT A COMPLETE REPAIR COULD BE DONE ON OUR GARAGE, BUT IT WOULD NOT BE PRACTICAL. HE OFFERED SUGGESTIONS FOR ME TO IMPROVE THE SITUATION ON MY OWN. VERY HONEST. GOOD PERSONALITY.

MR. RUH WAS POLITE AND PROMPT WITH ALL PHONE CONVERSATIONS. THE WORK IN THE END WAS COMPLETED AS DESCRIBED AND MR. RUH DEALT WITH ALL OF THE CONCERNS WE HAD BEFORE THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. THE JOB WAS DELAYED MULTIPLE TIMES (FROM OUR END) AND HE WAS FLEXIBLE WITH OUR SCHEDULING AND NEEDS. WE HAD ISSUES WITH THE CLEANLINESS OF THE JOB SITE DURING CONSTRUCTION BUT IN THE END MR RUH ENSURED THAT EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP AND FINISHED PROPERLY. ALL IN ALL I FEEL LIKE WE PAID TOO MUCH FOR A SMALL JOB BUT THE WORK WAS DONE WELL.

I WANTED TO GET A QUOTE FOR SIDEWALK REPAIR ON A HOUSE THAT I WAS PURCHASING. I NEEDED THE ESTIMATE DONE WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS BECAUSE I WAS NEARING THE END OF THE INSPECTION PERIOD. THE RECEPTIONIST TOOK A MESSAGE AND CALLED ME BACK, SAYING THAT CHRIS COULD MEET ME AT THE HOUSE IN AN HOUR. SINCE THE HOUSE WAS NOT YET MINE, THAT WAS TOO SOON, BUT I CALLED MY REAL ESTATE AGENT AND HE WENT TO GREAT TROUBLE TO GET US ACCESS LATER THAT SAME DAY. THE RECEPTIONIST AT CHRIS RUH SAID THAT WE COULD CALL CHRIS TO HAVE HIM MEET US AT THE HOUSE. BUT WHEN MY AGENT CALLED, CHRIS WAS SOMEWHERE ELSE AND COULDN'T MAKE IT. FURTHERMORE, HE WAS NOT AT ALL CONCERNED THAT WE HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO GO TO THE HOUSE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE BASED ON INFORMATION THAT HE WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO MEET US THERE. THIS IS INCONSIDERATE. I KNOW THAT MY DEMANDS WERE HIGH IN MY INITIAL REQUEST, BUT IT IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A COMPANY TO SAY THAT IT CAN MEET THE DEMANDS AND THEN NOT EVEN TRY.

COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED! THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS OVER. THEY PUT THE BANISTER BACK ON FOR US.

WORK QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT. WORK WAS DONE PROMPTLY. CHRIS RUH WAS VERY HELPFUL IN RESOLVING AN ISSUE WITH AN UNQUALIFIED CONTRACTOR, WHO HAD MISLED US INTO BELIEVING HE WORKED FOR CHRIS.

THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY & HELPED ME COMPLETE THE PROJECT QUICKLY, WHICH WAS IMPORTANT. EXCELLENT QUALITY, NO COMPLAINTS, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

CHRIS WAS ABLE TO COME OUT AND GIVE AN ESTIMATE RIGHT AWAY AND HIS ESTIMATE WAS AS GOOD AS A COUPLE I HAD ALREADY RECEIVED AND BETTER THAN A COUPLE OTHERS. HE WAS ABLE TO BEGIN THE WORK WITHIN THE WEEK, WHICH WAS KEY FOR ME. HE AND HIS CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB -- THE PATIO LOOKS GREAT. AND, THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING AFTERWARDS, AND EVEN LEVELED OFF SOME DIRT IN THE BACKYARD AND CLEANED UP MESSES THAT WERE LEFT BEHIND BY OTHER CREWS THAT HAD DONE DRAINWORK IN MY YARD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

EXTREMELY POLITE. EXPLAINED WORK THAT HE DID. VERY EFFICIENT AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. CHECKED SEVERAL DAYS LATER TO SEE IF WE WERE SATISFIED.

PROMPT RESPONSE, QUICK, HIGH QUALITY WORK, GOOD FOLLOW UP AND FINISHING OF JOB. SEVERAL THINGS WERE FIXED OUTSIDE THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, TO ENSURE JOB SATISFACTION. FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, QUICK TO RESPOND. I WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED USING THEM, BUT THEIR ESTIMATE WAS TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS HIGHER THAN NEXT LOWEST BID.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, AND REASONABLE PRICED. RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE ONE EVENING, COMPLETED THE JOB THE NEXT DAY. THE WORK PERFORMED WAS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. THE CREW CLEANED UP THE JOB SITE VERY WELL.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. REQUESTED ESTIMATE ON SEVERAL ITEMS, WE WILL BE DEFERRING WORK UNTIL LATER IN '05, BUT THEY HANDLED THIS PROCESS VERY VERY WELL. WE WILL USE THEM WHEN WE GET THE WORK DONE IN THE FALL.

CHRIS WAS ALWAYS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE FOR A HIGH QUALITY JOB.
