 + -1 moreWE CHOSE THE STONE, BUT THEY DID NOT TELL US ABOUT A BROWN VEINING THAT OCCURRED IN THIS PARTICULAR STONE, THAT WAS GREEN/WHITE AND BEING USED FOR A FOOD PREP TABLE, AND THEIR BARN IS VERY DARK. IT LOOKED QUITE DISGUSTING FOR BROWN STAINS IN FOOD PREP AND THEY DID NOT WARN US. ALSO, THEY WROTE DOWN THE WRONG MEASUREMENTS AND CUT IT 1 INCH TOO SHORT. THEY ROUNDED THE CORNER WHEN WE SPECIFICALLY NEEDED SQUARE CORNERS. WHEN WE WENT TO PICK IT UP, THEY DEMANDED PAYMENT BEFORE WE EVEN SAW THE STONE AND LEAD US TO BELIEVE WE COULD RESELECT. HOWEVER, THEY OFFERED NO RELIEF FOR THEIR MEASUREMENT AND CORNER ERRORS LET ALONE THE COLORATION ISSUE. THEY WAITED TO RESPOND TO OUR COMPLAINTS UNTIL THEY COULD CASH THE CHECK. WE STOPPED PAYMENT ANYWAY AND GAVE THE STONE BACK. ADVICE: YOU MUST DOUBLE/TRIPLE CHECK THE ORDER. BETTER YET, WORK WITH SOMEONE WHO ACCEPTS CREDIT CARDS. CHECKS ARE COSTLY TO HAVE STOPPED. SEE IT BEFORE YOU PAY! WARNING: THEY WILL NOT MAKE GOOD ON THEIR MISTAKES.
Description of Work: WE REQUESTED A GRANITE TABLETOP FOR AN OLD OAK BAKER'S TABLE IN OUR KITCHEN. THE TABLE HAS A RECTANGULAR OAK TOP THAT WE WERE PUTTING A GREEN/WHITE GRANITE TOP OVER. IT NEEDED TO BE OF THE TABLE TOP SIZE AND SHAPE. WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND HAVE OUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES ARE INCLUDED IN THE LIST.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE A LITTLE SLOW AND REQUIRED A FEW PHONE CALLS. FORTUNATELY WE WERE NOT IN A HUGE HURRY FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT. I SUSPECT IF WE MADE A BIGGER ISSUE OF IT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN QUICKER.
