Joe answered his phone immediately and was available for a last minute inspection. He arrived promptly, did the inspection, charged my clients a reasonable fee, gave them a discount, and got us the report the same day. He was professional, courteous and I did call him again for another client.

The radon test was done prior to the home inspection, and I got results promptly through my realtor. I was encouraged to attend the full home inspection, and I was glad I did, because I learned a lot about the house I'm buying. Joe was extremely punctual, professional, knowlegeable, efficient, and pleasant. He was also very thorough, which was why I used him. I was told that if there was something that made buying the house a bad deal, he'd find it. After watching him work, I believe that's true. He checked every window, every door, every appliance, every seam; he looked inside, outside, and even under things when he could. He took pictures. He showed me where all the turn-ons and turn-offs were for things like water, gas, etc. He told me how often things like the furnace should be serviced (something I didn't know when I was living in my last home, and as a result caused a bit of a problem when it came time to sell my old place) and how -- if I decided to have the basement finished -- to make sure I didn't damage the structural integrity of the house having it done. He explained everything clearly and answered any questions. I never felt confused, unsure, or patronized. He pointed out different features of the house (e.g. the fireplace is wood-burning with a gas starter system, but could be adapted into a full gas fireplace; one room was wired so speakers could be attached to the walls) and explained both what was good (e.g. the kitchen cabinets were sturdy and well-built) and what I should watch out for (e.g. a faint water stain that probably had a one-time cause that he explained, but should still be watched after it was painted over, just in case). I would certainly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, easy-to-work-with professional who's going to do a great job and help the potential buyer make the best decision they can. (I am going forward with the deal.)

VERY THOROUGH. NEEDED INSPECTOR IMMEDIATELY, SO WE NEEDED SOMEONE QUICKLY- SO WE DIDNT PRICE COMPARE. I HAD ASKED IF THEY WOULD DO INSPECTION AND RADON. THE INSPECTOR SAID HE WOULD ORDINARILY DO RADON, BUT HE LET HIS LICENSE LAPSE. SO HES NOT DOING RADON AT THIS TIME.WE ENDED UP USING SEPARATE COMPANY FOR THAT.

COST INCLUDED REPORT. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH, VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE FOUND ENOUGH PROBLEMS THAT WE DIDNT BUY THE HOUSE. I WAS VERY GLAD THAT WE USED HIM. HE ALSO CAME ON SHORT NOTICE. HE WAS THERE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE. HE SPENT OVER 3 HOURS INSPECTING THE HOUSE. HE WAS ALSO ABLE TO INSPECT FOR TERMITES AND EVALUATE THE RATES ON MITIGATION SYSTEMS. VERY VERSATILE.
