I was able to schedule at a convenient time a few days after my call. The technician arrived promptly and was able to quickly diagnose the issue. Required a new ice maker and he offered to replace a broken ice bin if I wanted. I agreed to both items and he arranged the parts order. Parts arrived the next week and he promptly scheduled to install them. Installation was quick and trouble free. Everything working great again.

We called on a Monday and they were able to come out the next day. We were expecting them in the afternoon but they called that morning to see if it was ok to come out earlier. He needed to order the part and he called and came out Thursday to install it. No problems so far.

Went great. They could of screwed me for 2 motherboards. The service tech recommended purchasing a new machine and didn't charge me for the service call. Tech was nice and friendly and very knowledgeable.

Fine, arrived on time, quickly diagnosed problem and had parts with him.

Went smoothly. Didn't have the part the first time, but installed it the next day. Only charged for one trip. If I gave him the machine ser. no. ahead of time, it would probably have saved us both some time.

The technician figured out that the Heating Element went bad and quoted me around $300 to get it replaced with an original Samsung part. The service was performed and later I came to know that the original Samsung Heating element itself cost around $50. It hardly took 45 minutes for the technician to finish the job. In my opinion, they should not have charged $250 to just replace a Heating Element. This is way too much for a 45-minute job. Before approaching this company, I advise to check with them their costs to perform each service which I missed to do it. I would never go back to them. I got blinded after seeing the BBB and Angie's ratings.

Determined it was an electrical problem

I called and made the appointment. The time frame for them to come out was morning to early afternoon. I received a call around 2:30pm. My daughter and I were out when I received a call. The man I talked to was not too happy that I was not home. I told him I would be home at 3:00pm and he said that he would send a technician out. The technician never came. I called back two hours later and he told me a bold-faced lie: that his technician had called me and that he had called me and couldn't get a hold of me. I never received a call from him or his technician after I talked to him at 2:30pm. I recommend never doing business with this company. This was just bad. I am a stay-at-home-mother and this company does not understand that stay-at-home-mothers don't just sit at home all day. I have a responsibility first and foremost to my daughter.

The representative arrived within a couple of hours. After inspecting the refrigerator, he said it would cost too much to repair and recommended replacing it. Surprisingly, he did not charge for the service call, saying the company doesn't like to charge when it discovers the appliance must be replaced.

Came out day 1 to assess the situation for a fair flat rate. Ordered parts needed. Came back out 2 business days later and installed new parts. Always kept us informed of what was needed and why. Appliances back up in running in little over an hour.

He repaired it on the spot and was in and out of the house in about a half hour. He was friendly, efficient, and polite. He advised me to get the dryer vents cleaned to prevent the problem from recurring.

Extremely well! The tech arrived sooner than projected, and in the early part of the window scheduled. Once the disassembly was done, the loose object (a pocket comb) was quickly seen and easily extracted. The tech, who was very personable, then vacuumed out the loose dust and lint, put everything back together, and test-ran the dryer before calling it done. Done very well, in my opinion! I unhesitatingly recommend these folks for any appliance repair you may have need of. First-rate!

Found source of leak. Determined that it was not worth the repair cost, so paid the visit fee. Knew what he was talking about. Professional and helpful.

Great...he was very friendly, punctual and gave me an estimate to fix the dryer. I will call this company back when I need to.

During the fix, Wally found that two parts had been glued together that shouldn't have been. This required him to replace yet another part; he had to go out, locate this other part, buy it, come back, replace all. For this extra time and expense he charged not one penny over the original estimate, and wouldn't accept more payment. Didn't think they "made them like this" anymore! So many little things Wally did made this an outstanding experience: when he had to go out to find the other part, he completely put the stove back together and in place in case I wanted to use the top; he cleaned up perfectly after the job was done; he was professional, friendly and informative.

I was very disappointed with the service I received from a company that came so highly rated on Angie's List. They sent a tech to my home in mid-December. No problems with what they did with my washing machine. Tech determined that it would need a major overhaul and that it would be more economical to just replace it (it was 10 years old). The problems came with the water/ice dispenser on my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. It has begun "sticking" and not shutting off the flow of water/ice until it had made a mess all over the floor. Tech inspected it and couldn't figure out the problem. Said he would need to research if there was a recall on it or something, and they'd be back in touch with us. Fair enough. Two weeks went by with no contact with this company. I finally called them and was told they'd check with the tech. A short time later, they called me back and said the tech had done some research and they were confident that he could complete the job for me the following Friday. Great! So the tech shows up at my house and claims no knowledge of the situation. Claims he's never been to my house before. So I had to explain the whole thing over to him. So he inspects my refrigerator, takes some pictures of the dispenser with his cell phone and goes out to the truck to make a call. After an extended period, he returns to tell me that there is a known problem with a "microswitch" on this model, but they need to do some more research on the proper procedure for replacing it. Promises me a call on the following Monday. Today is 8 days later, and there has been no call. Here's the best part -- when my wife got home from work that day and I told her the tech's name and physical description, she said it was the SAME GUY who had been to our house before! And he did the same thing -- looked at it, took pictures on his cell phone and told her he needed to do more research! This man was either lying, or actually couldn't recall being at my house. Either way, unacceptable. At this point, I can only conclude tat this company is either incapable of fixing my refrigerator, or they don't want the job. In either case, I'm highly annoyed at their lack of follow-up and lack of communication and their poor professionalism. I'm convinced that this company would NEVER have followed up with me after the first visit had I not called them. They have completely wasted my time.

They returned my call almost immediately after my voicemail, which was great. After explaining the issue, the gentleman I spoke with informed me that the issue is a bearing that needs to be replaced, but will require the complete disassembly of my washer. He quoted me $250-$300, but he could be off and needs to verify with 'Greg'. The gentleman asked for my address and told me that he'll call me back with a more definitive price quote. After about a minute I received a call from the gentleman indicating that he's spoke with 'Greg' and that he was way off on the price. The actual repair price would be $500 and that "we don't really do this any more", which was confusing. He then directed me to call another repair outfit that may work on Maytag washers. This sudden about face in service, made me feel like they suddenly decided that didn't want my business. I find it very hard to believe that they don't work on Maytag washers.

The best I can give this company is that my dryer is fixed. The communication and professionism of the technician was horrible. Customer service is non existent. Also, did not receive my Angie's list discount as promised.

I called Central Ohio Appliance Repair to have a technician look at my dryer. They sent over a tech the very next day and he was able to fix the problem the same day. My laundry room is quite small but it was no problem for the tech, who opened up the dryer and swapped out 5 or 6 parts for new ones. He was professional as well.

Reprogrammed the washer. Still not working properly. Not the repairmans fault, it's Maytag's fault. I will not purchase a Maytag ever again.
