Description of Work: Checked the washing machine thoroughly; took it apart to see what the problem was. The washer is only 3 years old and incorrectly built so he said he could charge us to rebuild it correctly or better yet it would be cheaper for us to go back to the manufacturer and see what they would do. We really appreciated his honesty.

Description of Work: This was an ongoing issue. They are responsive and polite but the original problem continues, after several attempts at repair. I have been in "no man's land" because neither the manufacturer nor the installer will take responsibility for whether our leaking problem is a warranty issue or an installation issue. Capital City Appliance now seems to be willing to do what is necessary to make it right. I hope so!

Description of Work: The detergent drawer on my LG Tromm washer was stuck closed. The housing assembly needed replaced. The technician was prompt and very professional.

Description of Work: Repaired my refrigerator and freezer. There were rather complex issues but John, the technician, studied up on my refrigerator model and was very vigilant about fixing the problems.

This company punctually returned calls and with integrity answered my questions, based on description of the problems with my washer and dryer. | |The price of my new washer and dryer was less than the parts needed to fix my 4 year old maytag which was storm damage related.

Description of Work: Oven covered under home warranty. They came out exactly as promised, minimal time to get replacements parts (stove is not common). Back as committed and stove has worked like brand new ever since.

Description of Work: They worked us into their busy schedule, came on time, worked efficiently and the repairman was very knowlegable. He gave us suggestions to avoid the problem recurring.

Description of Work: Technician informed us that one of the fan motors was burnt out and suggested that others could begin to fail as well. We took his suggestion to purchase a new refrigerator, rather than repair this one, as the repair could cost about a third or half of what we would pay for a new one.

Description of Work: Fixed fridge. On time, communicated arrival time, cleaned fridge after repair, replaced part that would be next to go thereby preventing another repair call and at his cost ($14), gave me brush to clean coils at no cost to me. Give me tip on cleaning another fridge in the house to prevent repair call. He is not cheap but he is a class act.
