The service men were prompt and polite. They quickly determined where the noise was coming from, replaced the part, and put the dryer back together. They didn't seem to move as quickly once that was done. My biggest complaint is that one of the repair men smelled like alchohol, which, in my opinion is very unprofessional. This is the reason that I will not use them again.

My frig motor started making annoying noises a month ago and then the freezer side stopped maintaining the proper temperature. After asking Angie's List for several recs I called Central Ohio Appliance Repair since it had several regional offices. Remarkably, the repair man was able to come the same day I called. He spent about an hour investigating my concerns and determined that a new motor needed to be installed and let me know what the approximate cost would be. Since he had to order the motor he explained that he would have to check to see if one was available locally. Luckily, one was, and he returned two days later with an assistant to install the new motor. This took about 1 1/2 hours to accomplish. They then explained that they preferred to return in another two days to see if all was working well. He then presented me with the bill. Overall I was extremely pleased with the work, their professionalism and their timeliness. I would recommend this company to anyone who asked.

I called another recommended repair service first, but despite the fact that I spelled our street name to 3 different people, the repairman left a message on my cell phone saying he couldn't find our address in mapquest - he didn't have the right street name! I called him back and left him 2 messages; I also called the office 3 times. To this day, I have not heard from anyone from that company! So after 3 days, I decided to contact somone else - Central Ohio Appliance Repair. When I called the office, Sandy was absolutely delightful. She said she could have someone out the next morning - and a technician showed up just as promised! He was extremely knowledgable, very professional and was able to fix our problem in a matter of minutes. COAR's diagnostic prices are much cheaper than the company I called first. We basically just paid for the part. I appreciate the honesty and attention of the technician. Even though it took him very little time to complete his work, I got the feeling that he was trustworthy, a characteristic that is becoming much less common in the service industry. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an appliance repaired.

Poorly. When I called to schedule the appointment the lady answering the phone did not ask what model of Kenmore washer was to be repaired. When the repairman showed up he took one look at the washer and said he wouldn't know how to go about repairing it. I called the office and she checked and said they didn't stock parts for the Oasis model.

The refrigerator was not holding temperature properly and there was frost accumulating in the back of the freezer. I read someone else's report with a similar issue and figured if the company fixed it for them, then they would probably fix ours, too. The repairman was courteous and efficient. The appliance is 10 years old, and he said this part often wears out. I was hoping that it would also cure the noisiness that the frig has at times, but the noise is still there.

Mr. Scott (the owner) came out the same day I called thanks, in part, to their great hours (they open at 7:30 am!). The gas oven stopped working all of a sudden even though the burners still worked which I discovered as I was trying to cook dinner the evening before. Mr. Scott inspected the oven and determined the ignitor switch was the problem. He replaced the switch and the oven works again. He was prompt and professional as was the person who answered the phone and set up the appointment. I would recommend Central Ohio Appliance Repair to anyone.

When we called to have the faucet replaced and the gentleman said he may or may not be able to work us in on that day so he went ahead and scheduled for the following Friday. He said he would call us to verify the day and time around 2:00 or 2:30. He called at 2:30 and said he could come right out would that be all right. He came out within 15 minutes. He replaced the faucet . He was neat, clean and very knowledgeable about everything. He cleaned up after himself and asked us if we had any question. In fact, I will be calling him later this summer when we are replacing plumbing in our bathroom. I recommend him to everyone who needs a handyman.

Clothes dryer was not heating and laundry was taking forever to dry and then still not dry. Called Central Ohio Appliance Repair in morning. The lady said there would be a service person in our area between 12 and 4pm that day. She took my cell # and service person called around 12:30 saying he would be there in 30 minutes. He met me there and checked dryer out for all possible causes. Gave me reasonable estimate to fix after explaining what was wrong. I ok'ed and he replaced heater coil and was gone in less then 30 minutes. The whole experience was great and I will call them for all appliance repairs from now on.

Called about 8:30 am and they were able to come out at noon the same day. Called 30 minutes before arrival and arrived on time. Robert diagnosed the problem, quoted the cost to fix the problem, pull the part from his truck and fixed the washer all within 30 minutes.

They were great. They told me it was beyond repair. The repair man was here when he said he would be, he was personable and knowledgeable.

From the initial call to the service department to to the technician correcting the problem, I couldn't have asked for better service. I would highly recommend this company to everybody.

I called Central Ohio Appliance repair at 8:30 in the morning and the tech arrived at our home at 1:00 that afternoon. He knew exactly what the problem was and repaired it. We have guest coming from out of town this weekend and we were worried that we may have to purchase a new refregerator. Not the case, in about an hour he had repaired the damage and was on his way. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. A plus.

This was a great experience from start to finish. They responded to my call right away, came out to my house that same afternoon, and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. I also thought the price was right, too. It was certainly better than having to buy a new refrigerator!

The repairman looked at my freezer which I had inheirited and had never worked since I moved it into my house. He was very honest and said that it would be a waste trying to repair it. He could have gouged me and said it needed this or that but he didn't and I was very pleased.

It went well. The man fixed the machine and it is working well.

They fixed my washing machine in no time at all and were cheaper than other companies I called. The repairman, Robert, obviously knew what he was doing. They were able to come sooner than other companies I called.

Our washer is 10 years old. It would fill with water and stop operating. Later, it would finish the cycle, but with a terrible noise. I called Central Ohio Appliance and they came out to look at it. The first gentleman who came, did not actually take anything apart to look at it. He diagnosed it based upon my description and listening to the noise. He said we would need a new part (which I no longer recall the name of) and that it would be about $250 more than the service call. He recommended replacing it. My husband and I discussed it and decided we would rather repair it than buy a new washer AND dryer, or have a mismatched pair. When I called back, I mentioned that the first repairman did not open the washer, so I wanted to be sure that if they ordered the part, and it was not what was wrong with the washer, that we would not be charged. They sent out a different repairman, Wally, who quickly took the metal shell off the washer and inspected it. He discovered that a lighter had worked its way up inside the hole where the agitator comes through the bottom of the basin, and had clogged up the drain. He removed it, and the washer worked fine. They did not charge us anything more than the initial service call. I would definitely request Wally again!

One of the things they suggested I try worked so they didn't end up coming out for a service call. I felt it was very kind of them to help me over the phone as opposed to charging me for the service call and repair when it was something I could handle myself. Very professional of them.

It was wonderful. I called and the lady I talked to was very nice. She said they would be out between 9 and 11, which they were. The guy who came out answered all of my questions and was very nice.

Our freezer had 'frost' accumulating in the back of it and our fridge section wasn't staying cool enough for our food. It was a Saturday so naturally I expected to have to make an appointment for the first of the week. No, they work Saturdays too, at no extra charge. I called around noon and set up an appointment. Robert came out about an hour and a half later. He diagnosed the problem to be the defrost timer & thermostat. Robert manually defrosted the freezer compartment and replaced the defrost timer & thermostat. Time of work elapsed, approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes. I was very pleased with his professionalism and expertise with his work. Also, the very fair price!

Tech came promptly, but was unable to determine exact cause of problem as dryer was working. Came again several days later when dryer had load, but with same results. Did not want to replace motor which would be expensive, but would not necessarily solve problem. Did not charge for either visit, even though time was spent on travel and examination of appliance.

I had a different company out twice, and they didn't fix the problem. Accu-Service sent a man out and he fixed the problem the first visit. It was a very good experience.

They only charge $19.95 to come out to the house for an estimate.

They do excellent work. The person that came out was very friendly and helpful. He showed me what my problem was so in the future I can do it myself.
