 + -1 moreMark said he was getting permits for the work, but he lied, and was caught. The work done was mostly fine, but the plumbing he put in under the sink leaked 3 months later, he left a live wire hanging in our basement. When I withheld the last 5% of payment until he got the permits, he threatened to sue me and put a lien on the house. The permits were under $500. His cabinet guy did beautiful work, but make sure he finishes everything before payment as he will not come back to make any adjustments. He will only keep promising to do so. He also had a bunch of projects going at the same time so work was intermittent.
