We couldn't be happier with our new SmartStrand carpet installed by the Carpet Ladies Company...it feels like walking on air! The entire process was very smooth; from the initial consultation with Constance, who patiently took several hours to make sure we chose the right carpet/pad for our color scheme, but also discussed the differences in brands/price ranges/comfort, etc. We felt that she truly cared about making sure we chose the right carpet for our home. After the consultation, we worked with the Owner, Kathy Ranalli, who couldn't have been more friendly and professional. When we talked to her initially, and then again to set the installation date, the conversations were very comfortable, and we felt as if we had known her for a long time! The installation went very smoothly, and the installers were extremely professional, friendly, and efficient! We were enjoying our carpet just minutes after the installation. We would highly recommend the Carpet Ladies Company for any type of flooring installation needs, as they truly care about doing things the right way, and giving the customers the value they deserve! We are extremely happy with our carpet, and especially happy that we chose the Carpet Ladies Company for this project!

I am so happy with the work that Kathy and her crews completed! Her Brazilian carpenters did excellent and beautiful hardwood installation. I can't wait to finish the rest of the wood floors in the house. The carpet crews did a great job as well! They clean up afterwords and are very respectful. Kathy is super to work with. She has wonderful ideas and is so helpful in the decision process and stays with you until the job is complete. I highly recommend using Kathy! She's friendly, energetic, and works so hard for her clients.

Original installers but did not respond after initial text

I wanted to have my very old carpeting removed from my entire house; and, since I have pets, I needed a flooring product that is durable, reasonably waterproof and easy to cleanup. I contacted a couple of contractors but didn't feel comfortable with their responses or lack of. I then came upon Carpet Ladies and, me being a woman, I was anxious to give them a try. Once I made the contact, Constance, the flooring sales advisor in my area, called me within a few hours and was in my living room that same evening helping determine the best product for my needs. We decided on luxury vinyl tile and I've been very pleased with it. Since I live in Reynoldsburg, Constance was never far away and she oversaw the entire project from start to finish. She absolutely went above and beyond and the installers were very competent and efficient. They were installers that Carpet Ladies uses regularly and they knew the standards that were expected. It's been a year now and the LVT is proving to be very sturdy and low maintenance. I would definitely recommend Carpet Ladies and would use them again if needed.

Constance Staber helped me a lot in looking for a perfect carpet that does not have a strong odor. She is very helpful and very sensitive in what you need and provides good customer service, The installation was very good, they hauled the old carpet away, they went above and beyond and the carpet was very nice. They have a very reasonable price and I would highly recommend them.

After seeing them on Angies list, I met Connie from Carpet Ladies at my home. I wanted an oversized dining room, sitting room and steps re-carpeted. The samples she showed me were on point for my needs and she didnt push me to rush. She met my cost point and even checked for specials. Their price was below everyone else's. Her detail in measuring my floor, corners, and steps (a woman's thing) was the best I've seen and her knowledge was beyond anyone I've encountered on the subject. The crew that came did a fantastic job in tge time period they promised to come. They were fast, competent and pleasant. Connie showed up to inspect the job before they left. I've had a lot of work done in my home, but this company was one of my best picks! I live in the Reynoldsburg area and the Carpet Ladies were the right people for the job.

They did a great job, stretched the carpets in our bedrooms that had wrinkled due to age and steam cleaning and they look great.

The saleswoman came to my home to show me samples and take down the details of the job and was extremely friendly and professional. A detailed estimate was emailed in a timely way and they made sure that I was clear about everything that appeared on it. The installers were also responsive, friendly and did a beautiful job. They also replaced thresh holds and toe moulding. I would definitely use them again.

We had fired the previous installers who worked for Lowes and had many square yards of vinyl in our garage. Carpet Ladies did this huge installation on very short notice. They met Lowes' installation price. Their prices are a bit higher than Lowes or Rite Rug; however, if you could see these people work in comparison to workers from these other companies, you would know why. They did an extremely careful, painstaking job on both the luan and the vinyl. They tried to keep the workspace as clean as possible while the project was ongoing (about one week). The owner does not take shortcuts when it comes to work; quality matters. In addition, I'd highly recommend taking advantage of their in-home service as their decorator really has a good eye for color, etc. She has excellent taste.

Outstanding. The quality of the flooring and installers were excellent and the price was significantly lower than everyone else. Kathy , the owner, was personally involved from start to finish at both properties and her suggestions were spot on. The installers were professional and took pride in their work. The only blemish was the time it took to install was longer than estimated but my understanding is it's common in the industry. I recommend Kathy to my mom and she's getting her floors done this month for significantly less with the exact same laminate as other competitors.

This is the second time I have used Kathy and her company. Once in 2006? and 8/7/15. She is owner /operator and I couldn't be happier to support a independently owned business. Kathy cares about her company her clients and her crews. As with any home improvement projects things happen that are unexpected, Kathy resolves these to your satisfaction. She always communicates and manages the project admirably. Our first project was cork flooring and 2nd floor carpeting in a loft and bonus room. The cork flooring looks like it did the day she put it in 9 years ago. The second project was carpeting for Master bedroom/ bath and stairway. What I like about Kathy and her crew is they have suggestions. They see a lot of homes and many different presentations. Both times they made recommendations which I hadn't thought of immediately knew they were good ideas. I am more than happy to support a small business that cares about each and every one of her clients and projects!

The quoted was higher than I expected and we opted not to use them.

Thanks to one or both of my dogs, I had a section in my family room where they decided it was a great place to urinate. One night I ended up ripping that section of carpeting up along with the floor padding. I knew I had another section of carpeting in the basement but needed someone with experience to replace it. Kathy called me and discussed the project and set me up with her contractor, Dan. He scheduled an appointment and came out, on time, and did a fantastic job of replacing the carpeting and padding.

They are a total scam and Angie's List has decided to no longer do business with them. I have a small room and purchased the big deal for 10' X 10' carpet for $99. They refused to honor the deal. Flat out refused to honor the deal. They would only do it if I paid an extra $293.56 for the exact deal that was listed for $99. After six months, Angie's List finally had a local reputable carpet company (Levi's 4 Floors) install the carpet for me. It was a terrible experience. The company comes off as nice, but a little backwards. It was very surprising when they did not honor the deal. I'm sure they have run this scam in other areas since they are headquartered in TN, but I live in Ohio. I pasted the deal below so you understand that there was no fine print that I didn't understand. Have done business with Carpet Ladies before and didn't hesitate to call Kathy again. My wife and I had pretty much made up our minds on what carpet we wanted and we wanted it to match the carpet Kathy had installed a few years ago. She made it very clear from the beginning that she'll install whatever we choose but wanted us to look at other samples that she had. She is so meticulous in that she looked at the paint color of the rooms, the furniture color as well as the hardwood floors and showed samples that would work for us. There was no high pressure sale involved because she again said she'll go with what we first wanted. We are so glad she took the time to show us the samples because we chose one of the samples and both rooms look wonderful. The color and fabric of the carpet added so much to the beauty of the rooms and we are so pleased with the way both rooms look. The installers did a great job, did a few extras for us and were very careful when moving the furniture. Don't hesitate to call Carpet Ladies like I did!

It went very well. The salewoman was personable and prompt. She brought beautiful samples that matched my interior perfectly. She really has an eye for color. I ended up not choosing this company primarily because another company came in with a low quote during their visit. I still hadn't been contacted by Carpet Ladies with the quote. (They had a rare personal emergency.) However, the other company misjudged the job and ended up slashing the difference in half. In contrast, Carpet Ladies knew what had to be from the word "go".

I contacted this company via the Angie's List website and they responded timely with some questions. On a Saturday evening at 8:45 PM, I received a telephone call from the company. I think this is late but I was under no obligation to answer my phone so that's on me. The lady on the phone scheduled me with a person to come out on 3/24/15 at 3:30 PM. I get off from work at 3:00 PM and set this appointment for that time on purpose. This allows me to get home, let the dogs out, take my coat off etc. I got home at 3:13 and the lady rang the doorbell at 3:15. I ususally don't mind people being early but I still had my coat on and my dogs were going crazy. I let the lady in and she brought with her eight samples of carpet approx. 8"x8" sqaure and a tape measure. We sat down and she showed me the samples of carpet and asked which one I liked. I asked some questions like manufacturer, price, basic information about the carpet etc. and she said she didn't know. This is when I started to get really annoyed. She said if I picked what I liked, she would text someone else who would tell me the price. I'm not going to pick something out without knowing anything about it. She then went upstairs to measure which took awhile but that's to be expected. I would rather it be accurate. She had to go back upstairs again to count how much furniture I have for move pricing purposes. I asked some more questions based on the text responses that she got and she was unable to answer those. I told her that I was confused as to what her purpose for being at my house was. She said to measure and show me the little carpet squares. What a waste of time. She has zero information. She was frazzled and probably rightfully so. I gave her the name and manufacturer of a carpet that I had picked out from another company and one of hers to get additonal informaiton and pricing on. A couple of days later, I received an email quote for an installation price. I was provided the price of the carpet for the two selections, how much moving furniture was etc. and told I could figure the tax out myself. Now, I know how to figure the tax out but really? You can't include that in an estimate? I am disappointed in the experience I had with this company.

We found the Carpet Ladies through a referral from a local Columbus Ohio Realtor. They highly recommended them for all types of flooring and the fact that they had been in business in the Columbus area for over 15 years and had recently branched out to Nashville. After sending our contact information through their website, we were contacted the same day by the owner and setup an appointment for an estimate. We were extremely happy to have the option of an "in home" shopping experience rather than visiting numerous retail locations. The Flooring Sales Advisor brought out many samples of real hardwood to get us started and to help narrow down our choices. They had a great deal of knowledge regarding the various types of wood species, very helpful since we were interested in Exotic hardwoods and the costs to help budget. This is where the "in home" experience really paid dividends as we were able to see what the flooring looked like in our home, next to our existing wood moldings, cabinets etc. Plus, we didn't have to spend our time gathering samples or searching for what we thought would look good, only to find out it didn't once we got it home. We fell in love with the Brazilian Cherry 3 1/2 nail down flooring which coordinated perfectly with the other wood grains in our home. We choose the 3 1/2 versus the 5 inch because we felt the wood had more movement and more contrast. The flooring advisor cautioned us that the wood would darken over time and to be careful with throw rugs in areas that get more sun. The estimate fit our budget, we were extremely happy with our choice of flooring, the flooring advisor and could not wait to get started! The project had to be done in phases, which meant a long week, but working with the company was very easy from start to finish. They were very considerate of our personal space and work schedules. The flooring was delivered first, to acclimate in our home. It was delivered by the actual installers for our floor and the installation process was explained to us in detail by the person doing the work. Phase 1 entailed removing old hardwood from our kitchen, and the old carpeting and padding in our great room/dinning room and hallway. They moved all of our furniture, numerous times and we didn't lift a finger. Phase 2 was installation. We requested extra design work in the hallway leading to the bedrooms, the craftsmanship working with seasoned contractors with years of experience was a key factor in how this area turned out. These angles in our hallway give a custom look not seen in other homes. The installers took exceptional care with the wood variations. The floor was treated like a pattern match and no two colors were installed side by side but carefully installed, staggering colors, which gives the floor the movement we were looking for and highlighting the beauty of the Brazilian Cherry. In addition, they also installed hardwood registers and even replaced a piece of carpeting for a better threshold fit at no charge. We constantly get compliments on our new hardwood floors, especially the hallway. The Carpet Ladies did EXACTLY what we requested. I have worked with vendors in my career for over thirty years. I was very impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail from all of the Carpet Ladies employees. If you are looking to save money and get the best customer service experience, we would highly recommend Carpet Ladies. They can assist you in flooring product selections, bring them to you and then do the installation. We made a large investment in our home with the new hardwood floors and know that this money was well spent. We will certainly reap the benefits from our investment whenever we choose to sell. In the meantime, we enjoy our floor everyday and the compliments we continue to receive, thank you Carpet Ladies!

Multiple issues with this company. Will never use again and will not recommend to others. I would give an F but Angie's list wants to arbitrate when F's are given so I used all D's. 1) Owner said floor could be layed vertical in room so that it didn't match same patter as foyer wood since that flooring is no longer available. She didn't know what she was talking about so when I walked in on the installers half way thru installation and it was going same direction as foyer I freaked. Installers had to stop work, and then had to call owner only for her to tell me she was wrong about direction. Why would you promise something you have no knowledge about?? 2) There was a particularly dark piece of wood near the office entrance. Stuck out like a sore thumb. (why did the installers use that piece??) Tried multiple times to get owner to replace it. Sent her a text with a picture clearly showing how much that ONE piece of wood stood out. It took me complaining to Angie's List BEFORE she would even address it. And then she wanted ME to pay for an ENTIRE box of flooring to fix the one board that was maybe 2 feet long!!! 3) Took over a month for her to get someone out and finally fix the flooring. 4) Then she tells me to NEVER go thru Angie's list again to try to get them to fix something! WHY wouldn't I? That's what it took to motivate her to even talk about fixing the one piece of wood!!! Never again...

It went fine. Had an issue with the usual person who lays the carpet but was able to get another guy.

However, it does not apply to stairs, which is what I want to do. So I can not really use the coupon.
