Description of Work: Beautiful craftsmanship and nice gentleman. Mr. James replicated a complicated (at least in my mind) upholstery on a chair for us. He was reasonable and the chair was completed when he said it would be. He runs about 6 weeks out - he's busy - but it's worth it.

+ -1 moreProfessionalism and fair price. Mr. James has done upholstery for over 30 years. Our amazement at how good and cushy new padding feels! Carlton works out of his home. We found it a bit hard to find (our problem, not his). Keep up the good work!
Description of Work: Carleton picked up from and later delivered 6 dining room chairs to our home. He stripped old seat covers, added new padding and beautifully covered chair seats. Very professional job. He's a craftsman, a great guy. First he advised us on best fabric store. Upholstery material is hideously expensive! Another company quoted $85 per chair and fabric. James did it perfectly for $45 per chair, plus much, much less for excellent fabric. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreHe is a one-person operation, and works out of his home. Very accommodating, but you must be willing to wait until he can get your work done. He picked up the sofa and returned it in less than 30 days. He did a very professional job on the loveseat. It looks like new. Very tailored.
Description of Work: He came to the house, picked up the loveseat, and fabric. He then recovered the loveseat. (Price is excluding the fabric, which I purchased myself.)
