I like that although he saw problems with previous work done, he hesitated to slam the previous contractor and instead talk constructively about what he could do better. A very nice, honest guy who we have worked with all summer and been thrilled with. A+++
Description of Work: Carlisle came to my home and gave me an in-depth analysis of what needed to be done to improve my landscaping. Following that they completed some jobs that showed me they are the professional landscaping company I have been looking for!

+ -1 moreWe have used the Carlisle Lawn Service for the past two years for regular mowing. We are very pleased with both the quality and price provided. We previously used a national mowing service that charged almost twice as much. Early this week, I had contacted Mr. Carlisle for an estimate on repair to our lawn after gas company work, plus a general clean-up including trimming a large limb from a walnut tree, removing another small tree, getting rid of weeds on a brick patio, and possibly removing dead holly bushes and replacing them with hostas from our backyard. Yesterday, he walked the yard with me, taking notes, asking questions, and the estimate was well within the range I had in mind. Today, he did all the work, including moving large paving stones left askew from the gas workers, mulching, and taking away all debris. I came home to a great looking lawn. He was prompt , polite, and left everything exactly the way we had discussed. I like using local companies, and his prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend his company.
Description of Work: He provided a lawn clean-up, moved plants, trimmed a large limb, planted ivy and mulched bare places, and sprayed for weeds.

Description of Work: Mr. Carlisle responded immediately and spent time, at my convenience, to understand and develop a time table and set of plans to take care of our immediate and long term needs: clean-up and redesign/replanting and mulching of front, side and back yard spaces; upkeep of those areas and the lawn, front and back. Our space is not large, but had been seriously neglected due to my husband's broken hand. Mr. Carlisle has been and will continue to maintain all of our yard and will be doing some other major tree trimming and large hedge trimming in the future. He will complete the redesign and planting of one of the backyard spaces in the spring, after we find out what comes up there.

+ 0 moreI like him real well. His prices are extremely reasonable. He's dependable and just a very nice guy that does good work. I never have to call to schedule, he keeps track of everything and comes as needed.
Description of Work: He does basic lawn care and mowing for me. He also does snow removal for me. I've been using him for at least 4 or 5 years.

Description of Work: He does my mowing weekly (as needed). He has taken out small tress and trimmed branches in my yard. He has also shoveled snow for me in the winter.
