Hyde Anderson is probably sufficiently qualified for undertaking inspections of simple structures. I would not recommend him for reviewing older or more complex structures due to his lack of knowledge concerning structural integrity. He tends to either bluff his way when he doesn’t understand the structure or raise unnecessary alarm. He should simply state that he does not understand the load or the dynamics of the structure and recommend further review by a more qualified professional. If pressed for greater detail concerning his analysis, he becomes non-responsive.

They showed up early-is-on-time and created a very thorough report for us. Our inspectors were efficient and knowledgeable, happy to explain the cause and remedy of any issues. This was our first experience with an inspection and I did not feel either judged or taken advantage of. The report came back to us same day with pictures of any problems, explanations including whether there issue is one of safety or not, and recommendations for fixes. Their website also has a number of useful supplemental features, such as making a remedy list where you accept or request remedy on each item of the report and it creates an easy list to print and share. In the home they were very respectful of the property. Since we don't own it yet it was a non-invasive inspection but they of course still checked behind the covers of the plugs and switches, inside all the panels, around every single nook and cranny--they even made sure the appliances worked correctly, checked every single window and drawer, and tried the a/c and the heater. Maybe all this is standard, but it's important to note that they didn't neglect anything,
