They came out quickly on a Friday morning. The people that came were great and they did a good job. We paid them during the visit and the owner then sent a bill stating that payment was received and he included a thank you note on the paperwork. In this day in age that is hard to come by.

My shower valves were leaking and they reinstalled. They also redid all the plumbing needs for the toilet. They did a good job overall. They did have some faulty shower valves but they fixed it for me. They had good follow up.

Stopped in, got the bid after they unlocked the unmarked entrance door for me to get in. I give them that it is an iffy neighborhood. Anyway, super pricey for the work requested, he even knew I wouldn't accept the bid and said I thought so when I laughed at it. Shop around.

I had used a different plumber and was not that happy with them, so, I tried Calhoun Plumbing. They seem to do the job in one time and I don?t have to call them again for the same job. I think the price is not out of the ordinary.

I have used them several times to get work done on my rental properties too. They had installed a new water heater for me about 2 years ago. I felt that the price that they charged for the water heater was expensive, but you can?t get it for cheaper either. I used to install it myself when I was younger, but I no longer do it now. They are punctual and very professional people. I have never had to call them back to rectify something. I would have worked in the same manner if I was in business. I never compared the price with any other company when I bought the water heater. The quality of their work is very good. I will use their services in the future as well.

The price of the repair was the exact price I was quoted over the phone. I'm not sure if the price is competetive or not --we did not seek another quote from another company, as this Calhoun Plumbing offers Saturday appointments, which we needed. The repairmen were very friendly and the job was completed quickly. The new faucet works great! I would use this service again.

I called the shop and they said they could get someone out the next day, but could possibly get there the same day late in the afternoon. I asked that they call me if/when they could be there the same day. They were able to make it the same day, but they didn't call me. There was someone home, so they were able to come in and begin the work. It was one guy's first day with the company and the machine he brought wasn't working properly. (The blade kept falling off, among other issues.) After two hours they gave up for the day and said they would be back first thing in the morning. They were back mostly on time the next morning and worked at it another hour, this time the process going as expected and the drain was cleared in just under an hour. They washed down the floor and made sure the drain was draining as it should. (Even waiting to make sure the upstairs plumbing flowed correctly.) They were very courteous and friendly. They offered a reduction in time used, since it was their equipment that made them run over the hour estimate (charging an hour and half of labor, which I found to be very reasonable) and only charged one service call fee. I will defiantly use their services again.

They replaced it on a Saturday after hours for a very reasonable price. They did a great job. They were helpful on the phone and in person.

Another company was sent to our house by our home warranty company for a clogged drainage pipe. Their estimate was for $1800 and we were told it would not be covered by our home warranty. After reading reviews on Angie's List, we then called Calhoun Plumbing who fixed the problem the same day for $180. The employees were courteous and prompt. He fixed the problem quickly and gave us recommendations on how to maintain the line in the future.

They were 45 minutes late. They were polite and professional. They knew what needed to be done and how to do it. I am satisfied with their work. They could answer all my questions.

They were an A1 company and very professional. They provided an estimate for the gas service, but the gas company took care of it, but their estimate was great. Their response was professional and very good.

They gave me an estimate of $175-$250, so we ended up going with them. They got the sump pump, put in, and then said that they were charging me $375. The serviceman would not leave until I paid them, and so I did. The serviceman had said that the owner would refund the difference, but failed to return calls three days in a row. They didn't leave the area as they had found it. There was additional clean-up I had to do. We also ran into a snag, and I don't know how permanent the solution will be, so I will probably have to keep an eye on that situation.

Kitchen drain was slow/blocked. We called a popular company to clean it out but discovered the drain pipe in the basement was rusted through and leaking. The other company's price was very high so we decided to contact other companies for estimates. Calhoun Plumbing came over right away and gave a very good estimate, so we hired them to do the job. Their plumbers arrived shortly after that and finished the job very quickly and efficiently. The pipe that was removed was completely occluded, so the drain runs just fine now.

When they checked my leaky toilet, then claimed the fixture must be cracked and therefore needed to be replaced. I bought a new toilet from a home improvement store (a brand they recommended) and they came back and installed it. After a few days of normal use the new toilet became clogged a couple times. They came back out and said that's normal operation for a low-flow toilet, and that's what I get for replacing an older higher-water-usage toilet. The faucet they couldn't fix surprised me-we have an old house but that faucet is only 10 yrs old, yet they claim it was old and couldn't get parts for it anymore.

They arrived to fix the issue, and it still isn't fixed. He explained that because the house is very old I would have to tear out the tile so that he could reach the issue to properly fix it. Had he told me this in the beginning I wouldn't have used there service.

Called on a Saturday morning and was able to get someone out to the house within 3 hours. Guy offered to replace the plumbing connections but since we are going to be redoing that part of the basement soon, we decided to just have him tighten and fix the existing pipes. He did that and the fix worked as it has not leaked since he came and did the work.

They did their job efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. They looked at a small problem on a toilet and fixed the problem at no extra cost.

The job was done efficiently. They came out to do a free estimate and treated me with respect. The estimator did a great job of educating me about what problems they may run into and kept me informed about the job progress and situations they came across during installation. They accommodated me without question when something wasn't done to my expectations or specifications.

I was pleased with the work done in replacing my shower head, although it was taken out of service for over a week. This was due to part availability, which proved to be a problem since we had out of town guests in our home. However, the work done was superb!

I called and they sent someone out the same day.

Calhoun dispatched two guys to hook up a single line. No installation of a new gas pipe, just connect a flex line from a supply to the stove. Two guys, one hung around and watched, $350. My wife contracted the job. When I called to ask why so high, the manager told me the regulations for gas line handling, etc. Just a lot of money for a short job.

I felt that the price was outrageous. They showed up on time and were very polite. I only had a problem with the price that they charged me. I would not use him again.
