They did a great job overall. Two individuals came out to do the work; they were able to fix both sinks right away. Parts were required to fix the bathtub. One individual went out the same day to find replacement parts. We were not able to complete that work the same day because of my schedule - I requested that they come back a week later to finish that. They were willing to come back sooner, but I requested the later date. The price initially seemed a little high, but they did do three different jobs. Maybe I am just coming to terms with how expensive it can be to have an old house with "character"!!

This company never showed up. The guy called 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment. I wasted the whole day waiting on this company to arrive, and still no work has been completed.

The person from the company identified the problem and fixed the kitchen sink problem. The person was polite and thoroughly professional. The price was very reasonable.

The significant thing about Calhoun's is their flexibility. I called to reschedule this job 3 times and each time they worked with me. And, when we finally agreed on a job time, they called me 10 minutes before they showed up so I lost barely any time at work. Their work is great.

I've used this company on a couple of prior occasions and was really surprised at the poor service I received. After not showing up when originally scheduled, (called when they were already 45 minutes late and I had an appointment), I re-scheduled for the following day. Two plumbers showed up for a simple 15 minute job where nothing was actually fixed. One plumber turned off the water and the other unscrewed the top of the faucet. I had to order replacement parts from the manufacturer. I wound up with a rather large bill (no Angie's List discount!) and an unresolved plumbing problem. I have since called the company and spoke with Ben Snow who told me that they would be happy to come and put the replacement parts in at no charge. Since our previous experiences with Calhoun Plumbing were quite good we will continue to do business with them.

Prior to their visit, I received a phone call, and we ran through pricing, length of time to do the job, etc. This was a really old toilet with multiple problems. They were quick, efficient, and I thought the price was more than fair (it included removal of the old toilet too). I would definitely hire again.

Removed the old heater, cleaned up, locked up when they left. Estimate was 100% accurate

They came out that day and fixed everything. He had to leave to go get the part, but was very prompt and my problems were resolved.

They did a good job. They fixed the problem, it wasn't easy. Their price was reasonable. The did it quickly and efficiently.

Despite a small miscommunication in setting up the initial appointment, Gary showed up on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. He finished sooner than expected, and the final bill was under the original estimate.

Plumber arrived right on time. He said that he would be here an hour, and he was. In that hour, he assessed the situation, went off and got the parts, returned and made the necessary repairs. Was courteous and personable, cleaned up well after himself, and was very reasonably priced. We would definitely hire them again!

Blaine said he could do all of the work today so it would save me another service call (for the sink, he initially came because of the toilet). He had the time and was able to do the work today, which I really appreciated. He was very professional and friendly.

I have used Calhoun before and they are always able to respond quickly and provide good service. They gave me a flat rate (bid) for the whole project.

Theirs was not the lowest cost estimate that I got, but it was in the ballpark. The fact that they could do the work the same week as they gave the estimate won them the job. Also, Mike Calhoun came to give me an estimate immediately at my request, which helped me put my time to good use as I waited for another bidder who was late. Another thing I liked about Mike was how quickly he sized up the situation and made a decision about the best solution. By the time he came out, I'd already spoken with several contractors and reached a decision about their various approaches; Mike took one look at my set-up and immediately came to the same conclusion I had.

The plumber did a wonderful job, without complaining even though he had to crawl into and out of the crawlspace many times. I was given the Angie's List discount when I told them where I heard about the company.

Fast, courteous, good. I work 5 minutes from home. They called before they came and I lost 1 hour total from work including all their labor. Highly recommended.

THE PLUMBER WHO PERFORMED THE WORK WAS GREAT. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. CALHOUN HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH AND THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE WHEN YOU CALL FOR SERVICE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO HAS A PLUMBING PROBLEM.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. MIKE CALHOUN (OWNER) AND HIS EMPLOYEE ARRIVED ON TIME AND READY TO WORK. I NEEDED MY SUMP DRAIN SNAKED AND HE DID THAT AS WELL AS MY OUTSIDE LINES (AT NO EXTRA COST). HE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN ADVISING WHAT HE THOUGHT MY REAL WATER ISSUES WERE AND THAT WILL PROBABLY SAVE ME $$$. I WOULD HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
