+ -1 morethis contractor showed up when he liked , reeked of alcohol, but the worst thing was the last day of job , caught greg Cockburn in my wifes underware drawer , he will never be back in my town , he is a perv ...if you hear of this guy run ,if I had kids I think I would have beat this guy

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate for chimney and roof repair on the outside of the house. There will also have to be work done on the inside because there was a leak. I had three estimates and I have chosen them.

+ -1 moreGREG AND ANSEL, MAKE A GOOD TEAM. THEY BOTH WILL LISTEN TO WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WHEN DOING THE JOB. HOWEVER I FELT GREG WAS DISORGANIZED AS HE HAD VISUALLY INSPECTED THE JOB DAYS EARLIER AND BROUGHT THE WRONG LADDER AND HAD TO GET ANOTHER. ANSEL (HIS CO-WORKER) IS VERY DETAIL ORIENTED.
Description of Work: HANDYMAN JOB OF DRILLING 4' HOLE IN SIDING IN ATTIC AREA FOR BATHROOM EXHAUST VENT AND ROUTE FLEXIBLE PIPE THROUGH ATTIC TO FAN. OWNER PROVIDED ALL SUPPLIES.

+ -1 moreGREG FROM C&H WAS PROMPT ON THE PHONE AND IN PERSON WHEN HE GAVE AN ESTIMATE. ESTIMATE WAS THE LOWEST COMPARED WITH OTHER TWO OTHER COMPANIES. I FEEL HE COULD HAVE DONE THE WORK WELL- BUT WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY WITH MORE REPORTS.
Description of Work: ON OLDER HOME, DECK WOOD WAS NAILED DIRECTLY TO HOUSE SILL PLATE/BAND BOARD WITHOUT FLASHING AND ROTTED THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE HOUSE FOUNDATION. ESTIMATE WAS TO REPLACE 20 OF BAND BOARD AND SILL PLATE, AND SISTER ROTTED JOISTED WITH NEW LUMBER. THIS REQUIRED ENTERING THE CRAWL SPACE AND SUPPORTING JOISTS WHILE NEW SILL PLATE WAS ADDED.
