Excellent experience ... installers (Jose and Pedro) were professional and skilled at their work. When they left you didn't know they had been here except that I had beautiful new carpet! No nicks, no handprints on the wall, just a great job start to finish. Sheldon, owner, even split my installation into two different days which was very helpful. Would most definitely use again.

Excellent service from beginning to end of the process, and a great job with installation. When visiting the store, people there took the time to explain options and help us find the right carpet to meet our needs, with no pressure. No problem taking home some samples to check in the room. Installers were on time, were courteous and professional, and did the job efficiently. The results look great. Recommended.

I am very pleased with my new floors. Very positive experience from beginning to end. Very helpful staff at showroom. Was able to compare samples and bring home the one I wanted so I could see how it matched with walls and cabinets. Sheldon came to my house and listened to what I wanted and gave recommendations. The installers, Keith and Keith were very polite and did a great job. I love my new floors!

When the man came out to give an estimate. Told him I need the vanity moved. No, it doesn't have to. When installers came out, Told them the vanity had to be removed. I was going to replace it and did not to have hole in the floor where vanity was. They would not remove vanity, So I sent them home. Went budget and got my $ back.

Excellent service-we still had a few squeaks after the carpet was laid, and our sales person came out and actually took care of the problem personally. The laminate wood flooring in our bathroom is fabulous and holding strong despite lots of water on the floor daily! Phil was really easy to work with in regards to scheduling, the gentlemen laying the carpet are great and any final details are taken care of personally so we are really happy and will use them again when we need new basement carpet. I love that they work with Costco -Costco has exceptionally high standards in regards to service providers and keep costs super reasonable as well as you get money back in the form of a cash card-WOW!

Wonderfully. From the beginning of the entire process, it was actually enjoyable. Carpet types and styles were described, but selection was left up to us. No pressure or persuasion. Installation timing was fine and we were in no particular hurry. The two man team that arrived at the house were on time and worked diligently. Removed all furniture from each room as they went. Absolutely left the house just as it had been at their arrival, neat and clean. Excellent install!

The service was impeccable. The crew was courteous and professional. The job itself was very dusty, but the guys worked hard to keep it at a minimum. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Great products and great service.

Very nice and easy to work with, punctual - called ahead before the measurement appointment and again before the install to give me an exact time of arrival, stuck to my budget and gave me options within that budget, install took the amount of time they estimated and the carpeting looks great. I would definitely recommend them to others and I would use them again.

I am THRILLED with how amazing Budget Carpet and Flooring has been! We found them as they are the Costco Shaw Flooring subcontractor in Columbus, and we wanted an estimate through the Costco flooring. Costco's standards for contractors is extremely high, so this was great reassurance for us-plus Costco does not pay Budget Carpet until we sign off that we are satisfied. Also, Phil, the salesman, came to my house to show me options, and had large samples sent to me, which was nice to be able to see how things would look right away; plus, Phil worked around my hectic schedule for his visits. I had gotten estimates from another national flooring company, and, while slightly lower, the Costco cash card back (about 10% of our purchase) evened out the difference. More importantly, I felt MUCH MORE comfortable going with Budget Carpet & Flooring because Phil, our representative, assured me that they only have a few teams of installers that have been working with them for years. I wanted to make sure the people who came into our house were trustworthy and were paid well for their time and efforts. The two gentleman installers have been friendly, efficient, cheerful and incredibly hardworking, and the trim guy is equally great! The other big box store could not tell me who would be our installers, and a friend of mine who went used the store said that the installers were not compensated well for their time (something to always check on when looking at flooring I now realize). I cannot recommend Budget Carpet & Flooring highly enough for fair pricing, patience with decision making (it took Phil a few visits before I was clear on what I wanted), and great products. I wanted to make sure I was being as environmentally friendly with my purchase as possible, and Phil made sure our carpet could be recycled and that the Shaw products I was purchasing were Cradle to Cradle products. FYI I used the Floorte Shaw flooring which is better than traditional hardwood laminate as it is waterproof and guaranteed for life. I am so happy I "went with my gut" and used Budget Carpet and Flooring as ultimately I would rather pay a little more knowing that everyone was getting a fair wage and that I could TRUST everyone involved in the process including the sales representative, the company making the products (Shaw), and, so importantly, the installers.

There where some issues with original estimated square footage being less than competitors, they missed the steps it turned out. Finally we came to an agreement on price and carpet was orders. Service was completed when scheduled. The did not do the best job sweeping the areas and corners when old carpet was removed. They also did not sweep the steps after the installation. I do wish I would have ran my shop vac after the old carpet was removed, just a tip for anyone getting carpet replaced.

We had approximately 575 square feet of ceramic tile removed from foyer, bathroom and kitchen and had engineered hardwood floors installed. The surprising part was the removal of the tile only took one day. The entire crew was awesome. They really know their stuff . They were prompt, courteous and very trustworthy. As a side note, I went through Costco Flooring and this is who they contract for Shaw flooring. I figure they do all the vetting and I trust who they pick, so all in all it was a win win for me. I had three other companies give me estimates but just didn't have trust that they could do the job. Plus, I get a gift card from Costco too. :) My floor look so awesome. I just couldn't be happier.

We had a leak under our kitchen sink that resulted in water being caught under the kitchen linoleum. We picked out tile at the store. They needed to replace some sub-flooring as well as re-tiled. The tile we picked originally was on back order, so they offered us a different product to speed things along. We were very pleased with the result. They came when they said they would and completed the job in a timely manner with no surprises.

Came out, took measurements and I never heard from them again!

We had been looking at different kitchen flooring options for my 80 year old mother.over the course of several months. After we looked at some flooring samples at Budget's showroom, Tim came out to the house the same afternoon to measure for an estimate. He called back later that same afternoon to provide an estimate. The initial estimate would have included removing a terrible porcelain tile job on part of the floor that was started by another contractor. In comparing costs with other providers, there were two reputable companies that I had used previously whose estimates were fairly close in total cost. Budget was one of them. In the meantime, I took the old tile up over the holidays and then we were into the new year. We also took some time in deciding on just the right colors that would be the best for her kitchen. Budget revisited my mom's home and honored the original estimate without the other flooring "take up" and provided an additional estimate for some flooring repair and installation of customer purchased baseboards. Tim felt that the flooring would need to be replaced under the dishwasher due to a leak that we had after the original installation of the dishwasher. He was right. Tim and Sheldon were very sensitive to our concerns and the situation we had with the floor overall. They provided a reasonable estimate for the scope of work and provided superior customer service throughout the installation of the flooring. Both Tim and Sheldon came out to the house during the course of the installation to assure that all was going well and even worked together with the installer to try to get a knob on a gas valve to the fireplace released so that the floor could be installed over it. The knob was older and was stuck. Both the installer and owner Sheldon went in the crawl space to look for the gas shut off valve to try to avoid the need for a plumber to come out to the home to disconnect , but were unsuccessful. They took it upon themselves to coordinate with the plumber (Jack Woods Inc. ) who was most responsive and reasonable with their service charge. The installer, Ron maintained a professional demeanor in installing the floor and providing customer service. My mom really loves the luxury vinyl tile that was installed and we are very happy with the company and the excellent customer service we received. They had a nice selection of flooring to choose from - particularly of vinyl luxury tile which is what we were insterested in. They were responsive, were reasonable with costs, and provided exceptional customer service throughout the process!

I have an investment property that needed new carpet. I compared prices at Evans Carpet Junkyard, Rite Rug, and Home Depot. I chose this company for the following reasons: 1) Price was very easy to breakout. $1.59 sq/ft with pad and installation. 2) No extra charging for the stair installation. 3) No hidden fees, estimate was exact amount I paid. 4) They haul out old carpet for 10 cents a sq/ft. 5) They were very nice to work with and I didn't feel pressured or talked down to. 6) Installers were there on time and completed the job in about 5 hours (with haul away too). 7) Didn't pay total price until after installation was complete ($500 down). 8) They were able to get me on the schedule within 2 days because the carpet was in stock. Overall, speed, professional, good priced. I will definitely use them again in the future. The only con was that I wish they would have vacuumed the carpet like Rite Rug does. The initial shedding was too thick for our normal vac. so I had to use a shop vac the first time around. But, that's really not a big deal. Highly recommend company!

k.Salesman was very professional and prompt. He was helpful and available for questions throughout the process. We had smaller guys tell us the job was too big for them because the cabinets were resting on many layers of flooring which needed to be cut out. They were prompt and got straight to work. It was slightly awkward the first day the workers showed up and didn't seem to speak much English. They knew exactly what to do and got right to work. I was in and out the two days they worked and was impressed with their focus and speed. The work was pretty inexpensive compared to other estimates and the quality is good (not great). They did send someone out for follow up with rebalancing the dishwasher immediately upon my calling back.

I had a wonderful experience with Budget Carpeting last year when they installed a sheet vinyl floor in another bedroom the year prior. However, the quality of workmanship was not quite as good the second time I used them. There was extra carpet up against the wall where they had forgotten to trim it, and the piece of metal at the threshold was not lying flat. They did come out a few days later and fixed those problems, but there is still a rough spot by the closet door (we had missed that). It's mostly hidden, so I did not call them back about that. Unfortunately, my cats are scratching the carpet, causing it to snag and it looks terrible. I know this is not their fault, but it's really still disappointing. I was hoping it would stand up better. Maybe I just got what I paid for. UPDATE: 1/3/15 The carpet looks even worse. It's pulling away from the wall in several spots. It's badly snagged in others. Downgrading from B to D. Will replace as soon as I can afford it, but will never use them again. Such a shame since I was so happy with the previous work they did.

I stopped by to get a large area rug. The prices were so great, I left with 3! Julie and Sheldon Yoder are great people and they have an excellent selection at terrific prices! I will tell all my friends!

I was referred to Budget Carpeting by a neighbor.The store is close to our neighborhood, and much easier to browse vs. the larger stores where I get completely overwhelmed by all the choices and lack of consistent help. When I went, Sheldon helped narrow my choices r/t what I wanted and gave me samples to take home. Two days later he came to my house to measure and helped me decide on a color. He had recently installed that same flooring and was able to show me pictures of what it looked like. I was so pleased with his price (best of 3) that I asked about his recommendations for our lliving room. I returned to the store to pick out that flooring, and he had both installed the next week. The installers were prompt, neat and very professional. Sheldon stopped by when the installation was complete to make sure everything was done to our specifications. We were very happy with the results!!

I needed new living room carpet because of cat marking issues. I went to Budget Carpet's store (after several unsuccessful stops at other carpet stores) and the staff were very helpful and patient with me as I tried to decide on which carpet I wanted. After I had selected carpet, they were very good about coming out to measure the room and give me an estimate. There was a problem with the carpet I chose being backordered at the manufacturer's but they were very good about keeping me informed on its shipping status. Of the two men who did the actual installation, one was very experienced and professional. The other not as much so I was glad that the more seasoned installer was there. That was the only issue I had with them, and it wasn't a big deal. Overall, I had a good experience and would use them again.

Called and asked to set up an appointment for an estimate to install some lamintate flooring. I explained they had installed some flooring in my house around 1 1/2 years ago and I knew exactly what I wanted. It was scheduled for a salesperson to come out on Saturday, between 2-2:30 pm. At 2:30 pm a received a voicemail from the salesperson (Garth) stating he was running 45 mintues behind. I was instructed to call the store to notify them if I wanted to reschedule or still keep our appointment. I called the store and told them that I would be willing to wait. An hour and 15 minutes later I received a call from Garth stating he did not know when he would be arriving. I told Garth to cancel the appointment. Garth then offered to come out on Sunday and he would give me an estimate. We agreed on 10 am Sunday morning (I verified the day and time with Garth several times during the conversation.) Sunday morning came, no salesperson, not even a phone call. Guess they were not intersted in receiving business from a previous customer. Will be looking elsewhere.
