Budget Blinds of Westerville & Surrounding Areas

I made the appointment with the office. Joe, the owner’s son came out on the schedule time and was friendly, knowledgeable about the product and comfortable to work with. We made the deal and the order for 9 very large electronic blinds was place. The office kept us informed on the status of the order. When the blinds came in, a date was set for installation. The owner and our sales person showed up an hour early and went to work unloading the vehicles. They were friendly, hardworking, honest and knew their business. I had to do nothing; they moved the furniture carefully, removed the old blinds and took them to their vehicles, installed the new blinds and programmed them. At no time was there a mess in the house or where they worked out in the driveway. They finished and moved the furniture back and cleaned up. My wife and I were very impressed with this company and the product. There still is companies out there you can trust and receive quality workmanship.

This is a new condo with 9 foot ceilings, for which I needed blinds. I was totally satisfied with the assistance and recommendations of Stephanie Miller from the Dublin, OH office. She brought samples and explained the pro's and con's of wood vs. faux and composite blinds. I chose wood blinds for all four rooms to match the color of my woodwork. Kevin, the installer, also did an outstanding job and explained best use and care of the blinds. The blinds look wonderful and I highly recommend this company. Price for a total of 18 windows seemed very reasonable.

The entire process was smooth, with no problems. Joe was so patient and helpful on the initial visit, helping us pick out treatments for each window. He and his father Joe installed the blinds and shades 3 weeks later, and they all look fantastic. You could not ask for nicer guys to work with, and we highly recommend them.

When they hung the blackout blinds, there was too much light coming through the sides of the blinds. Joe, the owner, came out and re-measured and re-ordered the replacements. He's going to reconfigure how everything is hung to increase coverage. While I wish I didn't have to take the extra time to get everything the way I'd like it, I am pleased with their responsiveness and commitment to my satisfaction.

Contacted this company in June to get an estimate for installing shutters in June. They came out and measured and gave me an estimate. Since it was a little pricey, I decided to think about it and look at alternatives. I decided to go ahead with it in July and called back and got Joe who said he had just purchased the company but he would be able to take care of it for me and that he had the original estimate. He said it would take about 4 to 6 weeks to get the shutters installed. Two weeks later he called and said he wanted to come out and remeasure to make sure the measurements were correct. He came out and found the measurements were fine and when I expressed concern that 2 weeks had already passed he said he would put a rush on the order, A few days after that I received my American express bill and found that he had processed the charge for half the amount in July yet he was out to do the remeasure and subsequent order in mid August. Warning sign to me. In mid September I started calling to see when he would be installing the shutters. I'm not sure how many times I called over 4 or 5 days but he never returned a call. Finally he did answer one of my calls and said he expected the shutters by the end of the next week and he set up an appointment. On the night before he was to install them he called and left a message saying he didn't have them yet, When I finally reached him again he said they would be in the end of that week and he set up the appointment for the end of the following week. The shutters were finally installed the next week almost 11 weeks after I placed the order. The final insult was that he said he would mail something to compensate for all the delays. Two weeks later and nothing. I would not believe anything Joe tells you and his follow through is pretty non-existent. The shutters look fine but this was not with the hassle.

Joe Guagenti is the new owner of this Budget Blinds. I believe he just purchased the business in July 2013. He is new to the business and seems to want to do a good job. Unfortunately, we ran into a few problems. He took our order and told us we would receive blinds that we could raise and lower. Unfortunately, after the blinds were installed, we discovered that we could not raise/lower them. And, during the installation, Joe was training a new employee who installed one of the blinds crooked. When we called him back to discuss both problems, he was very sorry and said he wanted to make it right. After discussing several solutions, we decided to keep the blinds and he gave us a partial refund. He came back to our house a few days later to correct the crooked blind installation. After he left, my husband still wasn't happy with the installation so he took it apart and re-did it himself. Also, since I had never received a copy of the original purchase order, I asked Joe to send me one and I still have not received it. Overall, I think Joe wants to do a good job but may be a little overwhelmed with starting this new business. Although, I'm not totally sure of that. He could have handled things a little differently . . . for instance, telling us he could not get the kind of blinds we wanted before he actually installed them. Perhaps with a little more experience under his belt, he will do better.

Wanted to replace my master bath window treatment. Called Budget Blinds on the 21st of March. Appt was set for the 22nd. Devon Miller the representative was very nice and helpfull and on time. I knew the type of treatment I wanted so she explained how it would work on my window frame. It was a double casement window with wood framing. We decided on on outside mount. I picked an up and down window shade. She was very helpful in picking a color that would go with the bathroom decor. I placed my order that day. I was told it would take about 2 weeks or so to arrive. It actually came in earlier but due to a error in my phone number I could not be reached. The owner Jodie Monebrake personally came to my house to tell me the blind had arrived early. I called the office the next day to setup delivery.That was completed on the 12 of April. Nice company to work with.

Was on time, brought samples, measured and provided estimate. Did not use because had a lower estimate.

Adam was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to provide a quote immediately and explain the benefits of using Budget Blinds. We ultimately did not choose them because of price. However, I do believe they offer a high quality product with a wonderful warranty.

Scheduling was a breeze. Initial call back was with within hours. The appointment was done in 36 hours. The job was completed within 14 days - estimate thru to finish.

They do a super job. We had previously purchased a roller shade from them for our patio door. We plan to use them again soon for window film and I am sure ultimately, we will end up replacing all of the inferior, competitor blinds. If you are on the fence on who to call, call Jeff and Jodi.

Budget Blinds send a representative to help me choose my replacement blinds. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She made good suggestions, had ample samples and helped me choose blinds that exeeded my expectations. The installer arrived several weeks later with the blinds. He did a quick good quality installation. I am very pleased with the result and have received compliments from friends on the blinds.

I am so pleased with this company. They did a great job I would highly recommend them. Their service is exceptional. My dog damaged one of my blinds and they ordered a replacement for me and came out and installed it. Four months after I got my shades we had new windows installed on our house. Jeff came out and reinstalled all the shades for me. I cannot say enough about this company - they respond promptly and offer exceptional services and a great product. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Representative came to my home. Had extensive samples and helped me choose the right configuration for my setting. Installation was quick and satisfactory. Overall an excellent experience.

I would not use this company in the future. They did not install the cornice correctly and they refused to come back and fix it without charging us for it.

My sister also used their services about a month ago. My experience with them was great. However, there were a couple of broken blinds but they have been very cooperative about coming back and replacing them. They just didn’t know that they were broken until they got them out of the box and the blinds were from California. I was pretty pleased with their price. I liked the way in which they did the business. They were very courteous and good about matching the color. The man who installed the blinds was very nice and was very good at what he did. My overall experience was wonderful. I thought that the price was fair. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Connie came out to measure and helped me with suggestions. I originally wanted valances over the shades and she talked me out of them, saying that I'd probably love the clean lines of the shades without them. I was so pleased that she tried to sell me LESS than I thought I wanted and she was absolutely right. I took her suggestions for designs and the installation was a breeze and done so professionally. We LOVE our shades and we get so many compliments on them. I would definitely use them again.

Lisa Studer was wonderful!!! She understood that we didn't require a total renovation of all window treatments and worked with us to provide treatments that matched the current products in the windows. She worked closely with my mother to ensure she understood what product would be used, how it would compliment the current products, the color and the cost. She provided a detailed estimate and time table of when the products would be installed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing window treatments. Thank you Lisa!!!

The girl that came out was wonderful, had good suggestions,the installer was also very good and was very prompt. Overall it was a very good experience.
