He was pretty nice, but he didn't really fix our problem. It was a confusing situation. The problem has persisted. Their price was fine.

Great, they installed a month ago. My thermostat emailed me an error report from my furnace. We were on vacation. They showed up the day after Thanksgiving and fixed it. I was still in warranty so b it was free of charge. The thing is, the issue was caused by me, not them. I could have payed and still would be happy.

Sales person and installs were excellent. Could have used a bit more communication regarding reminders and confirmations. We took advantage of a Costco cash promotion and needed to ensure we installed with8 a certain time frame. Still, this may have simply reflected a low pressure approach. Love the new system.

Fine worked good all summer

This company is my service provider. Suddenly my existing 16 yr old system started loosing coolant. It did not make sense to repair the existing system given the cost to repair/replace components and the age of my existing system. Obtained quote from Buckeye and three others. Quote was prompt and competitive. Workers showed up at promised time to begin installation. Completed the install the same day. Work was very professional, proficient and the two man team did a very nice job of clean up. Would use again.

The guy was excellent. The guy explained everything to me as he went along plus some extras. Like, the guy was really wanting to have me as a consumer understand how air conditioners work and how I could best utilize my air conditioner. He also went outside to clean it and he showed me even some thin tips that I can do. I did do a contract with them so that they will come twice a year, once for the heating and once for the cooling. I was super impressed with this. The whole approach was professional and the guy was filled to the brim with information and you could tell he wanted to share it with the consumer. That's makes a big difference to me. I am kind of picky about that. If you come in and start working on my stuff I kind of want to know. He talked while he worked, which was good. He did not stop working, so that I was impressed with. He was here, maybe, an hour. This was my first air conditioning year with them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, TOO MANY OTHER GOOD ONES! High pressure sales, dangles discounts and rebates in front of you. They knew that I had a new born and no AC so they of course recommended the most expensive system, waited until the end of the day and then called me and told me if I wanted this work done for that price you have to buy in 1 hour! I didn't look elsewhere because I thought they could do the work, now we are stuck with no AC and have to revisit our search. PLEASE CALL SOMEONE ELSE!

Buckeye Heating and Cooling did a nice job. Again, I can't remember the details. I just want Angie's List to stop nagging me.

I had Buckeye out to provide a quote on a new heat pump system (through the Costco program). The company president visited. He was punctual, polite, and professional in demeanor. However, the information he provided was very cursory, and he didn't do a Manual J load calculation (or any sort of calculation) to determine whether the 4 ton system he recommended was a good fit for my house. Oversizing an AC or heat pump can cause significant problems: Higher humidity, shorter equipment life, and the larger unit costs more. I had used Buckeye in the past for routine maintenance (reviewed separately), and was very disappointed in the lack of effort to properly size this very important and expensive piece of equipment. It gave me no confidence in the company.

Everything was fine, excellent service, friendly.

They did a great job and it is working good. They were very prompt and professional.

including the service call of $118 plus hourly rate. He said the mother board would be even higher. He then said, if we could wait until Monday, the service call would only be $75 and the blower motor would be "substantially less". To immediately jump to the 2 most costly items to repair on a furnace without even seeing it is unscrupulous. With the severe weather conditions we've had in Ohio and throughout the country, it's disheartening when companies, such as Buckeye Heating & Cooling are quick to take advantage of home owners knowing they are at their mercy.

Things went fine. I had a good experience. They did good work. They cleaned up after themselves.

We got outstanding service from them. They designed the heating and cooling system that was designed particularly for our place. They did extraordinarily well and it was installed very well.

There was one minor issue with the condensation pipe which leaked twice. They came out and fixed it. It was not glued correctly.

The sales person did a very thorough job of understanding our current system and making recommendation for options to size the new system appropriately for our home. He did a great job of explaining our options. Buckeye's price for the equipment and labor was very aggressive out of the gate. In fact, they were nearly $1,000 cheaper than a competitor for the exact same package! I had called them to get a second bid to validate the price we received from our normal service provider. The two man crew did a great job on the installation. Everything was completed professionally in about 5.5 hours. They explained the operation of our new equipment and did a good clean-up before departing. I would recommend Buckeye Heating & Cooling.

We have a maintenance agreement with them. They come out in emergencies really quick if we need them; which is helpful when you live in the country and when you do not have access to that and it is cold. If your furnace is not working, you need somebody to come out. It seems to me that when they came out on an emergency basis, it was like the day before New Year. It was over holiday time which was $150 which was fine because we did not have any heat. They came out and did an emergency work on our furnace. They are very professional. We had used another company locally for several years that were not quick getting back to us. They would tell us they would come at a certain time and they would show up a day later. I could not get a hold of them and they were just hard to work with, but Buckeye is not. They are really easy to work with. They are good about punctuality. We tell them what is going on. They do the scheduling. We needed a new furnace and they did not throw that down in our throat. There was no pressure on that in terms of sales pressure which I appreciated. Overall, what stands out is just their overall professionalism for their service. Their pricing is really good.

The price was great and it was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to be. There was no pressure whatsoever. They could have probably sold us or could have attempted I think to sell us something a lot more expensive than they did. We agreed that we did not need to have what would have been considered their top-of-the-line. That was not pushed at all. We had problems with our furnace. They came out on the maintenance agreement that they had. They did the maintenance on it. They told us for the fourth or fifth time that we probably need to be looking at a new furnace and were we willing to have a salesman call. They even went that far. We told them sure and the salesman was out within a week because they were coming in the winter weather. We sat and talked to him for probably two hours till we pretty much got down what we wanted and what he thought we needed as well. We talked about some installation and could installation problems because of the way our house was built. He checked and followed-up with their installation people before he would even confirm the sale of it because some of the uniqueness of how we were going to have it put in. The furnace was in within the week. I cannot complain. I think their efficiency, their non-pushiness; I was really impressed with that. Giving options, discussing the pros and the cons and not trying to undersell or oversell their products.

I called Buckeye Heating and Cooling for service on my hot water heater. The pilot light would not stay lit even after I replaced the thermocouple. After researching other possible causes it appeared as though the gas valve was bad and would need to be replaced. I called BH&C in and they confirmed the gas valve was the likely issues and would be a several hundred dollar repair, approximately 1/3 the cost of a new replacement unit. They credited the labor costs of the initial service call towards the purchase of the new unit. I scheduled the work and it was installed the next day. They were prompt, courteous, and quick. The new unit is a Bradford and White, one of the two manufacturers that they supply. The other choice was A.O Smith. Consumer reports that I read suggested that the B&W unit was the better choice. I'd recommend them to a friend. Good luck!

The sales rep provided me with all the information I needed to make my decision. I did the comparison against other furnace brands and providers during the estimate process and Buckeye Heating & Cooling was my choice due to furnace features, price and in-town parts availability. The installers were very professional and respectful and did a great job. There was one concern I had regarding the furnace exhaust and intake where they existed the wall. They were close together and the intake was not pointing down to avoid exhaust air from being sucked back in. I was told another person would comeback to fix that in a day, but that did not happen. Two days after the installation, the main circuit board on the furnace failed and within hours it was replaced with a new part and the technician made a correction to the exhaust issue as well. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the quick response and parts availability.

I have been using their services for over three years. They are prompt and do not over charge.

Everything was fine. I've been using them for about 3-4 years. He did what he was supposed to, when he was supposed to do it.

Our first contact with Buckeye was to get a quote for a new furnace/AC. Pete came out and was very familiar with our 25 year old existing system, and emailed back bids for a couple different options. No pressure. We decided to hold out until next year when our home warranty expires and will work with them at that time. But, based on this experience, I did call Buckeye again to cut some vents for our renovated master suite, and run the ductwork for a make up air damper for our kitchen range hood. The installer was professional and the work was completed promptly. Thanks, Buckeye... we'll be back in touch next year!

After the rebates the cost was around 6k. They were very responsive during the process of getting quotes from different companies. The installers showed up when they said they would and they amazingly didnt take any breaks. Everything was cleaned up and tested before the left.
