Description of Work: Tried to contact twice per their website for free estimate for entire water/air/heat! Never heard from them! Went with Air Supply.

Description of Work: My furnace stopped working some time during the day and I noticed it that night when I got home. I called Buckeye for an emergency service because the previous owners must have used them and left paperwork from them servicing the unit and because I am a member of Angie's list and they were listed. Well I ended up leaving 3 messages over a 4-5 hour timespan to the emergency answering service and she said she would relay my call. The next morning about 9 hours later and after I stayed up most of the night waiting for them a technician returned my call. I had planned on signing up for their service plan since the previous owners used them but after that I will never use them for any of my heating and cooling. That was very unprofessional. My house is 15 degrees cooler than we keep it.

Description of Work: My heat pump was not defrosting. Matt came out and found that mice had made a large nest in the wiring section of the heat pump and in the process, chewed through some of the wires. He repaired the wires but then found a problem with the breaker to the heat pump. He could not start the unit until I replaced the breaker. he said once the breaker was replaced the heat pump should operate normally. I went to Lowe's and bought a new breaker, replaced faulty breaker and everything is working great.

Description of Work: The central air unit needed to be serviced. The compony narrived on time and finished quickly. They were efficient and clean. Unfortunatly, the new part caused an older part to fail. They quickly returned and apologized for the inconvenience. The new issue was resolved in promptly. They only billed us for the first call only, even though there were new parts installed. We'll use them again..

Description of Work: Called last week for air conditioner service. Made appt. for 6/15/2012 between 9-12. Called this morning to make sure they would call first so I could put my dogs up. Lady assured me they would. Called again at 11:05 a.m. to make sure serviceman would be here by 12 as I have errands to run. I am an early riser. I like to get things done earlier in the day. Was informed my appt. was scheduled between 12-5 p.m. I hate incompetence. Now I have wasted half my day waiting for someone to come who is not coming. As a matter of fact when I called this morning at approx. 8:30 a.m. to let them know about the dogs I mentioned the 9-12 time and nothing was said then about an afternoon appt. Had they caught it then I could have done my errands and been home for them to come in the afternoon. When there is incompetence in the office it usually rolls downhill to the servicepersons. Will never call them again nor recommend them.So there was no service performed.

Description of Work: We requested a quote for purchase and installation of a furnace and air conditioner. The owner came the day we called (a Thursday). He spent a lot of time answering our questions, and gave us a price that was about 30% lower than the other quote we had gotten for comparable units. Installation was set up for the following Monday. Installers came on time, were quiet, neat and efficient. Entire job was finished by early afternoon. The whole proccess was very professional.

Description of Work: Provided and installed Lennox high efficiency furnace and air conditioner. Buckeye's quote was about $600 less than Columbus Worthington Air's for similar Amana products, although the latter finally agreed to match Buckeye's price. I prefer to go with the comany that makes the deal, rather than the one that matches the deal, all other things being equal. The installation was prompt and painless. There was one minor problem. During the installation they turned off the pilot on the water heater and forgot to turn it back on. We called when we noticed the problem the next morning and a service representative was at our house within three hours. While he was there, he noticed a tiny leak where the humidifier was connected to the water supply and fixed that too. All in all a very positive experience with Buckeye. Columbus Worthington Air was also prompt in its efforts to get the business.

Description of Work: The company responded same-day to my AC unit not functioning. The repairman was punctual, professional, friendly and detail oriented. The unit was frozen up outside and inside, so he had to turn on the heat to thaw out and then added a pound of charge and balanced back to factory specs. I had no problem with the service but I felt the price was excessive since it did not take long to perform the service and the only materials used were refridgerant.

Description of Work: Replacement of AC system. Went above and beyond by cauking areas of other AC to improve efficiency. I had a humidifier that was not working. They evaluated it and flushed the water line (correcting the problem) without additional charge.
