Buckeye Heating and A/C exceeded my expectations. I called to schedule a service call and was pleasantly surprised that a service person was able to come the same day. The service technician arrived promptly and completed a thorough system check before diagnosing our problem. He was very good at explaining all that he was doing and what certain test results meant. Fortunately our problem turned out to be a simple one (low coolant). He did not try to oversell me and instead suggested a few things to watch and discussed with me what the next step should be if our problem returned (possible leak vs. lack of regular servicing). The price was less than I expected and I was also able to use an Angie's List coupon! Thanks, Buckeye! You have earned my loyalty.

Excellent service, and I can see now why they are so highly rated on Angies List. Got an appointment for next day for AC, technician arrived within the set time parameters, and in only about 30 minutes fixed our AC. Technician (Larry) explained everything, patiently answered all my questions, and suggested ways to improve cooling efficiency in our condo. He wore shoe coverings to protect our carpet. Another reason I chose this company was the female employee who took our call. As Larry did, she explained the process and patiently answered all my questions.Would not hesitate to use this company again.

They were great. They did a good job. The guy that come out was very personable. He answered any question that my husband had. He was very neat and clean. We didn't have any mess.

They came out the same day I called and were actually able to complete the entire job - start to finish - that very day. I had been having problems with my furnace (both units were original from 1985) and while they were happy to repair the unit, I made the decision to have the system replaced. They didn't pressure/persuade or anything. Pricing was fair. Work quality was excellent. I highly recommend Buckeye to anyone who needs to repair or replace these critical systems.

The first guy they sent was better than the second one. The first guy was very fast and professional. The work was really what I was expecting. He did the work and left in an hour which was amazing. He cleaned up after himself. He was very friendly. The other guy moved the ducts to where I wanted to but he had a different view point. I expected him to do everything the first guy did, but he did not. He did what I asked him to. He was friendly as well and did his job. The guys who came to give me the quote were also good. They gave good feedback regarding my heating system. I had a good experience with them.

On 12/3/2010, I called Buckeye Heating and Cooling to perform a CO test, carbon monoxide test, on my furnace system. On 12/2/2010, another company performed an annual furnace inspection and advised me that I had a carbon monoxide problem with my furnace and suggested that I shut the system down. On 12/3/2010, Larry from Buckeye Heating and Cooling came and did a complete system check for carbon monoxide, which included providing me with a print out of his findings which revealed that there was no CO problem and everthing was normal.

In early December 2010, Pete Kott, sales manager, Buckeye Heating and Cooling, came as scheduled to give an estimate for the installation of a new furnace, which included a 1 year service agreement, the removal of the old furnace and furnace inspection fee. On 12/14/2010, service techs Gary and John, arrived as scheduled and took approximately 4 hours to remove my old furnace and install a new 95% AFUE Lennox furnace and programmable thermostat.. The installation and cleanup went very well. There have been no problems and I am very satisfied with the furnace and all the interaction with employees of the company. They filed the local permits and the furnace was inspected by the city and did meet all code requirements.

Fantastic approach; Pete Kott sales manager was straightforward and forthright. Spent extra time making sure I had all the various options and pros/cons of each. The only issue was price; his quote was $400 more than another contractor using the same equipment. I asked him to sharpen his pencil; by reducing the warranty to the equivalent of the other contractor and removing some of the included service agreement he was able to narrow the difference but it was still too much. I really thought they had more installation expertise (as evidenced by Paul who has forgotten more about HVAC install than most other people know) so if I had a more complicated system, or I planned to be in the house longer than 5 years, I would have gone with Buckeye.

They were extremely professional. They were willing to work with the price and get what we wanted installed. They did it very quickly. They did everything as far as taking care of the permits and everything. The day of installation the technicians were very prompt and professional. They were very tidy. They really did a good job. I was very pleased with what they did. They cleaned up as best they could, keeping it to a minimum.

Very friendly and professional employees. Excellent estimate & sales from Brad. Good prices and great products. Installation went smoothly and products are highly reliable and efficient.

they were great to work with, we signed the contract for the humidifier and AC, they came out right away and installed the Humidifier. we had to wait a few weeks for the AC unit to come in from the manufacturer. about 3 weeks after the the humidifier installation we received a call that the AC unit was in and ready, they were here the next day to hook everything up and we are ready for warm weather.

I could not be happier. I had estimates from five H&C companies, all of them rated "A" on Angie's List. They all did a good job evaluating my situation and explaining their solutions, but Pete, the salesman from Buckeye, really stood head and shoulders above the others. He was obviously well-informed and experienced. He answered every question I had in terms I understood, and did extra research with his techs and even the manufacturers on some of my more complicated questions. He listened carefully to my requirements (e.g. poorly insulated home, very low humidity in winter, naturally cool inside in summer), then explained all the features and choices for each component of the system (furnace, AC, humidifier, thermostat, duct changes, etc.), and then put together an overall solution that fit together as a synchronous unit, each piece supporting the other pieces in a way that met all my needs. And the very best part was that he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Not only did he not try to push items on me that I hadn't asked for, he even told me why he wouldn't recommend certain features or components I thought I would need, which saved me a lot of unnecessary expense. He even made a trip back with their head installer, before I signed the contract just so he could have a second opinion on what he had put together for me. Plus, he did a great job explaining all the rebates and tax credits. The system has been in for one summer, fall and winter now, and works better than I had hoped. I would recommend Buckeye to anyone.

Our furnace failed during the morning of 1/15/2011. We called for repair at 1;40 PM and was promised the arrival of a service person (Bryan) in 30 t0 45 min. Bryan arrived on time at 2:15. Repairs were completed by 3;05. all efforts were made to protect our floors and the work area. Bryan was courteous, professional, and efficient. Given that it was Saturday, we felt that the price was reasonable. We would use this company again.

Called for a visit from the vendor after securing a first estimate from another vendor. Buckeye promptly responded and provided estimate for more highly efficient, similarly rated equipment at a significantly better price than the 1st company. Checked satisfaction from others which was positive. Installation in one day, work was very neat, installed professionally filed all rebate materials, and provided us with tax credit paper work. System has worked flawlessly. We did receive a notice from Buckeye a couple months after their work that Dublin required a final inspection which is pending. Very satisfied with the experience.

The bottom blew out on our 15 year old water heater. We called Buckeye and they gave us an estimate over the phone and came out the next day. They gave us a window of 12:00 - 2:00 and Shawn showed up shortly after 12:00. He was very professional and answered all of my questions, and had the old tank out and the new tank up and running in about an hour. The final price matched the estimate we were given. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and won't hesitate to call them for any future needs.

They were great. They came on time and left on time. They were nice to my son and I the whole time they were here. They even kept the basement door closed to make sure he didn't fall down the stairs because he is little, which I thought was above and beyond. They were very courteous and very nice. They couldn't have been better. The unit looks great.

Professional throughout the experience. Gave me a good, fair price. Really explained the differences between the types of furnaces and what would work in the small space that is my basement area. They quoted me a price with a rebate and a discount and also including an air filter that might not work in the space availabe. They also instructed me on getting the energy rebate come tax time. Well, the air filter was too big and they took that off the price. I only had one little glitch and I don't think it was their responsibility; the rebate didn't get credited properly so I had to make a few follow-up phone calls to Brad. I believe it was a manufacturers rebate that was getting ready to expire and the manufacturer lost it. Brad fixed it by working with the manufacturer. I love my new furnace and AC. The touch pad controls are easy to use and my electricity bill has gone down.

Everything went well from the beginning. Brad Wentz came out promptly and when he observed our old furnace recommended two new, 95% efficient furnaces twinned together to take advantage of the tax credit. They had recently done a similar set-up in Bexley. Paul came out for a pre-installation survey and Scott, Kevin and Bryan spent an entire day here removing the old furnace and installing the two new furnaces. Came back two days later to finish a fresh air, PVC pipe installation. All very professional.

Their prices are very competitive. I usually look for the very best thing that you get for the money spent and they were about $300 or $400 below their best competitor.

Couldn't have gone any better. Noticed a vast improvement in affected areas of home. System is heating much better and seems to be not running as often as before. I'm very pleased with work performed. Have used this company before and will continue to use again if ever needed. Very honest, old school, take care of the customer type service you don't see much of anymore. These are the pros you need to call.

The Big Deal from Angie's List - my husband was pleased with the experience. The guy looked the unit over, told hubby that there's a small leak - suggested replacement of unit (I know, it's old and will have to be done at some point). Since hubby said not at this time, he topped off the freon with approx 1.5 lbs and went on his way. From the way hubby talked, the guy was personable and professional.

The salesman came at the appointment time and explained in detail three different furnaces with three different price tags. He explained in detail how each would be installed and how they would differ. He left information on the three furnaces for us to study and consider. When we had additional questions, we contacted him, and he provided the information we wanted. When we determined the furnace we wanted, we phoned and set a date for installation. We were pleased that it could be installed early the following week. The installation went very well. The two men who removed our old furnace and installed our new one were super careful of our walls, woodwork, and floors. Floors from the front door to the basement and the basement steps were covered with tarps. The men wore booties when they entered the house and removed them when they went outside which I appreciated as I had very little to clean up. We will have a $923.00 tax deduction to apply to our taxes since the furnace is energy efficient. When we needed an additional tutorial on our digital thermostat, two men came at the appointment time the following week and spent about 45 minutes with us explaining how it worked. We were super impressed with this company and would rate them A+.

I think they were perfectly fine. I just didn't find them as helpful for ongoing maintenance. I used them for my job because I do a lot of things for my company. I use it for home and work. I used them to replace a water heater and it was a small one for a bathroom at work. They did a fine job so I used them to do some furnace work too. They were just not good at the whole maintenance contract thing. They may be ok for the home, but not for commercial.
