The fence itself looks nice and the price was better than others we were quoted. I would have rather spent more money instead of having to deal with their headaches. They told us it would take 2 days but it ended up taking 9 not counting the days it rained. There was always an excuse about why they were late or why they couldn't work longer even when they showed up hours later than promised. We heard everything from "he's been acting weird since he started dating a new girlfriend" to "I have to go home to do laundry." They acted very unprofessional. When we asked questions about the fence or warranty they became very defensive and lashed out at us.

Factors were involved. First I was told by the homeowner the day before that there were no utility markings in line of the fence. We get there and there is electrical running straight down the entire 1 side of fencing. ( Therefore couldn't use machine everything had to be done by hand making job longer ) job took 4 days Saturday and Sunday are not work days and this includes 1 rain day. Homeowners were never given specified times at any point until meeting at the end for payment. It seemed as though they possibly did not have the balance due. I was told on Tuesday evening that she wouldn't be home till 6:30 to meet for payment the next day and that she wouldn't be home till 7 p.m. on Thursday so we made arrangements for Friday ( with tbd). On Wednesday morning she leaves a voicemail that we need to be there Thursday morning first thing to fix a rail and get paid. I return her call and tell her I can not do Thursday morning I had another appointment. Then she says well can we do it this evening (Wednesday) at 5:30 (but the day before she wasn't going to be able to meet until after 6:30 this same day) we arrived about 5:15 and they were in the back yard burning tree limbs that had been cut that day. ( But I was told the day before when she decided a rail needed replaced that she couldn't meet till after 6:30) I answered everyone of their warranty questions etc. never lashed out at ANYONE and wrote up our first ever warranty for them. (Although all jobs are warranted 3 years labor) As we were doing the job she complained about other contractors they had hired before us for different things. We have been in business 11 years and we have never dealt with anything like we dealt with on this job.
